Love it when the tenant realizes that it is "food which has been through the digestive tract" ! Sorry to see that you Aussies have the same phone tree hell getting to the utility as we do in the States. Thanks for showing Sydney Water doing their thing.
So awesome and proud to see what a pro Ollie is!! He knew before the street pit overflowed that there was a severe blockage in the mains without even having to camera the mains. It's a real privilage for Sydney Water to have you as a reliable reporter! 👍👍👍👍👍
After watching so many drain cleaning videos in AustraliaI I have realized that the diversity in languages and culture of those living there is complex! I always assumed foreigners (including myself) visited for a vacation, and then went home. But it looks like many restart their lives or retire in Australia. As of now I can handle the heat and bugs in Arizona, but I don’t think I’ll ever make a permanent stop in Australia. You can have the world’s most dangerous spider for yourselves thank you very much!
Wow, so much great stuff in this episode. Multiple blockages, multiple cleanings, lots of cars, Sydney Water with a great sign (you also should have) and a real big nozzle. And also a lot of funny things to laugh about. Thanks Olli, you made my day. 👍 All good
If someone had told me that I'd be happily watching a man clearing water drains, I'd have told them that they are nuts. But here I am happily binge watching a man clearing water drains.... 😂
Well when I was a little kid and didn't want to learn parents kept telling me that if I won't learn and get some good education I will be cleaning sewers and working with pure shit 😂 And now I'm starting to wonder if I wasn't happier being on Ollie's place instead of working with computers and networks in a big corporation ☺
Hey Ollie, I don't know why your videos are entertaining but they are. I got a fuel spout tip stuck in the fuel neck of my cars petrol tank. I bought a cheapy USB endoscope for £8 and with that I was not only able to see the obstruction, but ferret the camera down the serpentine neck and it plopped down into the tank. Now I can squeeze the petrol pump without it clicking off. And as a bonus, I can inspect plumbing in my house whilst doing my best "blocked drain" impression. Thanks for the entertainment. God bless you.
Thanks to you, I've been able to locate a break in the 6" main from the 9 story building I manage! Surprised at how many plumbers just gave up. The repair is another story. Iron pipe buried in concrete directly below the foundation. Great job Ollie!
Thank you for sticking around for that road drain clearances. Wow, that was awesome to see. Hope to see more of that kind of work as well as your usual stuff. I appropriate you taking the extra time to film the extra footage.
Just another perfect episode with everything I like about your videos: Nice customers, your hearty interactions with them, step-by-step sorting out and solving the problems and all of this in a nice neighbourhood. And as I mentioned before: The second camera at the other end really adds a lot of quality for us sofa-plumbers! Who else pulled his head back, when the camera was hit? And to top it all of you showed us the work of the "big boys" at the end. Thanks for sharing, I think most people don't realize the time and effort it takes to turn 2 or 3 hours of footage into a smooth video.
Hey Ollie I want to say thanks for saying hello to me while I was talking to Jim. I'm sorry, I truly was at a loss for words. You folks are both top notch individuals in your own way. Great video again as usual. Keep up the good work. Cheers mate, Dave
I felt so very sad for the lady with the toilet and every oneelse's manky water coming up into her space - it didn't look easy to keep nice in the first place, tucked partly subterrranean, but it needed a serious clean after that issue! Loved seeing Sydney Water out so fast - we can wait days, it's crazy - and your expertise pinpointed it for them so nicely - very happy watching as one of your second hand kind of drain addicts... and we dont get the smells!
I hope the lady appreciates your cleanliness to her yard after a job well done Ollie. The Warthog is the real deal for high pressure Sydney mains unblocking! Note you got to get one of those big signs.
That was awesome seeing them clean the main I think that was the first time you have ever shown that. And ratty sitting on the vent enjoying the poop smell.
I was about to comment it would be nice to see Sydney Water arrive and unblock, when I saw the truck had arrived. Good job all round. I spent some time unblocking drains on a Caravan site here in Lincolnshire U.K. We always blamed the blockages on the Beer, when it was really disposable Nappies they stuffed down the toilets. Not good, but it kept us occupied first thing on a Sunday morning. I used to check the Manhole covers by stamping on them, if I heard an echo, all was well, but if it was a dull thud, time to go get the rods out. David.
I was thinking I'd hate to be the fella that lifts the manhole cover. So glad you could stick around to the film the guys clearing that mains blockage. I guess when Sidney Water gets a call From Ollie, they know that there is a problem that needs to be dealt with. All Good 👍
The camera tells you the distance in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Also, he can pull the jetter out and measure the length of hose he was using before he rolls it back up. Assuming straight pipes, that's the distance.
This was a great episode Ollie! You got to help multiple tenants in that building and even got to show us all a sneak peak into "Sydney Water Mains" process and them coming out and clearing it. I cannot believe the size of their jetter head! You need to get one of those some day 🤣
Ooohhhhh - We've watched Ollie call Sydney Water quite often but this might be the first time it's worked out for us to see them do their thing. Awesome!!
4:53 I like how he says “Now that’s a big Redback” and then immediately proceeds to mess around with it 😂. Fantastic job Man. High-fives from the Northeast coast of the US!
Ollie what a great video, you need to get a super hero cape and have some super hero music, great footage of the sidney water clearing the fault and in a really good response time 💪🏻👍
Nice Ollie! Glad you didn’t show them any corn when you’s said, “That’s good that’s been through the digestive tract!” 💩 Their response was priceless. 😅 Plus a real treat seeing the “big boy” jetter! Thanks!
My city has a truck with a big container and motor that can either suck or blow out an entire house's sewer lines. We don't have the tree root problem, apparently, so they suck it all out. If they mess up and blow all the sewage into your house, the city has to pay for damages and somebody loses their job, as the shit goes everywhere. It's amazing.
Ive follow u for years ollie.. not once u have failed to complete ur job ollie.. good job bruv. And uve managed to complete those plumber that cant execute their job due to certain circumstances.. good job
That suction through the man hole cover was kind of satisfying to hear. Great reporting that. There are many people that I know would not report something like that and let someone else deal with it.
Lady: Is that food? Ollie: Yeah that's food that has gone thru the digestive tract. Me: That's a pleasant way of describing it! From beautiful Senoia, Georgia, in the US of A!
DA performs a public service on this job and the Sydney residents are glad he did. Best channel on RUclips! Cheers from South Florida.
Cheers @jeffreysouthflorida7008 👍👍
"That's food that's been through the digestive tract", good one Ollie!
🤣🤣🤣
What a shit story 😂🎉
Verdautes Essen im Vorgarten 😵💫
New tshirt merch idea 😂

Excellent work, OLLIE 😊
And a family of red-backs..
In the US, they'd come fix it in 4-6 weeks after reporting

welcome to the party
You could be in a spinny chair in office, or there. Where would you rather be?
Ain't that the truth

Excellent work Ollie! 👍 And a bonus surprise seeing Sydney Water at work.
My husband loves your videos. He learns a lot from you. Love the content.
👍👍
Brilliant work again, just managed to see Ratty, glad I didn’t blink. Well done and thank you for the video.
Thanks to you, I've been able to locate a break in the 6" main from the 9 story building I manage! Surprised at how many plumbers just gave up. The repair is another story. Iron pipe buried in concrete directly below the foundation. Great job Ollie!
9 story building with only 6" main?
@sk31370n it's a public housing building from 1968. Infrastructure is pretty sketchy to say the least.
@sk31370n the main sewer line is about 20 feet from the foundation but until then yes it's all 6"
Thank you for sticking around for that road drain clearances. Wow, that was awesome to see. Hope to see more of that kind of work as well as your usual stuff. I appropriate you taking the extra time to film the extra footage.
!!! What efficiency of immediate response of the State in the sewage service !!! EXTRAORDINARY
Great work as always nice seeing the city show up so quick
Keep up the great work
2 Weeks in the UK !!! Lol
Thanks for taking the time on a Sunday to entertain us.
It's always well worth the watch.
👍👌
It's Monday in Australia....
Great work Ollie! And ratty too :) Thank you for also including how Sydney Water clears it

Sunday night treat for us again. Thank you Ollie. ALL GOOD👍

Right on time! A bit rainy outside today so this is a great way to pass the time. Cheers!
I hope the lady appreciates your cleanliness to her yard after a job well done Ollie. The Warthog is the real deal for high
pressure Sydney mains unblocking! Note you got to get one of those big signs.
Love your camera work. To see what's down there without tearing up the neighborhood is great.
That was awesome seeing them clean the main I think that was the first time you have ever shown that. And ratty sitting on the vent enjoying the poop smell.
So awesome for you to stick around for Sydney water. Love seeing problems fixed.
I seriously love how enthusiastic you are about your work. It's why people love your channel so much, because you do exactly what we'd want to do.
Great job, Ollie! Always going above and beyond!!
Have a good day!👍🏻
Oliver! Welcome!
Thanks again Ollie… Enjoyed the follow up w/ showing the “big boy” blaster!!!
I was about to comment it would be nice to see Sydney Water arrive and unblock, when I saw the truck had arrived.

I was thinking I'd hate to be the fella that lifts the manhole cover. So glad you could stick around to the film the guys clearing that mains blockage.
I guess when Sidney Water gets a call From Ollie, they know that there is a problem that needs to be dealt with. All Good 👍
Good job glad you were able to contact the city and report there problem
Ollie to the rescue as always, couple well placed jokes, some root destruction, another great one from the legend!
I'm always amazed how you can gauge the distance the blockage is located👍
The camera tells you the distance in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Also, he can pull the jetter out and measure the length of hose he was using before he rolls it back up. Assuming straight pipes, that's the distance.
@@CallieMasters5000 we can see the distance and length of hose too but ollie could be blind folded and still mark the spot better than any of us
@@iFROS7it would be concerning if he wouldn't
Thank you for showing the City crew getting it done. What a lot of water and things.
This was a great episode Ollie! You got to help multiple tenants in that building and even got to show us all a sneak peak into "Sydney Water Mains" process and them coming out and clearing it. I cannot believe the size of their jetter head! You need to get one of those some day 🤣
