- Thundercat has been suggested a lot and this is one of my favorite songs in the world so i was really excited to make this video! I dusted off my LTD bass for this video cause it has a super low comfortable action which made this much easier to play. By the way this is the first instrument i ever got and i bought it knowing nothing about instruments and i also was looking to buy a guitar and didn't know this was a bass. However I think it was fate because if i ended up actually getting a guitar as a first instrument, i'm not sure if i would've fallen in love with music the same way i did. Regardless of the completely ignorant purchase at the time, i think this LTD really holds up and i still love it.
I mixed myself pretty hot so the tapping would be easier but i apologize for some of the clipping that happened. i would love to do more thundercat in the future cause i just adore him and the music he makes. I also apologize for last weeks video having a bit of a hitch in the uploading process (copyright claimed and blocked worldwide) but its currently in dispute and i think it'll be visible until or if i lose that dispute so we'll see!

If my memory serves me correctly I think I just went DI into logic and used the “Funkulator” amp, I’m sure I changed around some of their presets on it but I can’t exactly remember 😅
