@@minestar2247Because of the symbolic implications and its closeness to the Suez Canal. The British literally suffered hundreds of thousands of casualties just to land there in real life. They would never let anyone, especially France have the land because of their presence on the world stage.

You do realize that after gaining so much non Armenian territory this new Armenia would've become a Muslim majority country right? This entire video doesn't even try to be somewhat realistic, it's just pure wish fulfillment. Because if it wasn't a wish fulfillment, realistically that Armenia instantly would've collapsed into civil war.
In this timeline the genocide doesn’t take place. So actually no, it would still be majority christian as it was before.

Even before the genocide only city in Eastern Anatolia/Caucasus that was majority Armenian was Van and Yerevan. Cities like Kars, Ardahan etc etc were all either Turkish or Azeri majority with significant Armenian minorities. Even without the genocide this Armenia would've become a majority Turkish/Azeri country unless they themselves decide to commit a genocide.

As to the WW2 in this timeline. Whichever side the USA joins after Japan inveitably attacks the USA because Japan's Imperial ambitions in the Pacific would come to clash with the US no matter the scenario and they remained sore about the US forcing them to open up to begin with, the countdown for Pearl Harbor began the moment Commadore Parry sailed into Japan's waters to break the door of isolation down and really once the Tokugawa Shogunate fell during the Boshin War the two powers were set on a collision course.
Basically though whichever side the US joins is the one that wins, even with the US having stayed neutral in WWI the US still would have become a major global power due to geography and many other factors. General rule whoever kicks that sleeping giant is the one that loses. It's the number one rule of warfare for a reason because everyone that has done it always ended up failing. Also before anyone brings up Vietnam and Afghanistan the former was basically started by the US government using a false flag attack so in that case we weren't the agressor and in the case of Afghanistan our main targets of that invasion the leaders of Al Qaeda behind the 9/11 attacks were killed and Al Qaeda has never recovered so I'm going to consider that a win.
Nah I feel like that if Japan is on Great Britain's side then there less likely a chance of them striking the US, as Japan could pressure Britain into giving influence in China, land in the Raj and South East Asia. Plus if Britain goes to war with the Imperial Brotherhood Japan will be attacking Russia in the underdefended Russian Far East. And even if Japan attacked USA I'd like to think they are much more prepared for this, as they are not as stretched out in our timeline, plus they do have Britain on there side and it would stretch out the Americans much more on the homeland border with Canada, the Pacific were Japan would have much more free reign to cause havoc and war crimes and the Atlantic with Britain. In the end I feel like it would be too much pressure for the Americans. 2 Naval superpowers against the up and coming USA plus the land border with Canada. Not saying that they're going to be fully annex by Britain or Japan, but either become a puppet or close allies with the winners (reverse Japan USA scenario) or just surrenders and calls it a day. You could argue nukes but in this timeline the Americans could only really strike Canada as they don't have the range. With who they join with I could see them making there own faction, something like Pax Americana or something, because they don't really align with the Central Powers, I mean maybe the Imperial Brotherhood since Quebec is right there but I dunno. You are correct with whoever kicks the sleep giant is the one that loses, but that's only because the only ones who were dumb enough too were small rebel insurgencies and a overstretched undersupplied Japanese Empire. And everybody knows 9/11 was a inside job, "Oh shit we just suddenly lost trillions of dollars what do we do?" They only invaded Afghanistan because Oil, and for Vietnam it was there insane thought of the commies spreading. Name me one communist country that's grown into an economically, morally and militarily strong country.

The SCHLIEFFEN PLAN may of never existed according to Gerhard Ritter, I'd suggest you read Kritik eines Mythos by him
It was all quiet on the western front…
The problem with any such scenario is that the Schlieffen plan is completely unrealistic by 1914. There's a reason why it was called the Schlieffen-plan while the current man in charge of it was called von Moltke.
It really doesn't matter how many soldiers Germany has at the Western front, simply because they would never get into position in time, the roads and trains simply weren't built for it. The Schlieffen plan was concieved back when train systems were far less built up and mobilization took a lot longer. By 1914, mobilization, especially in countries like Germany or France, which had well thought out mobilization tables and good rail networks happened in weeks, not months. And no matter what, the German army would always meet mobilized French troops in their way, instead of cutting between them and surrounding them. Even the entire German army couldn't deliver this outcome anymore, because adding more soldiers to a traffic jam doesn't somehow make them move faster.
Despite this, the Schlieffen plan was a desired outcome for the German political and military elite. It gave them the hope that they could deliver a decisive blow to France and avoid a two-front war. They didn't want to hear that it wasn't going to work, so no one told them. Even though the plan became more and more impossible, they still just adhered to it. Von Moltke "solved" this by drafting a plan that just ignored reality and had several divisions just randomly appear in France at the flanks of the German spearhead, but in reality there was simply no way for these troops to get there in time.
In the end, it's a testament to the German army that they got as far as they did, but at the same time this plan prevented anyone in charge to change course and actually try something different, instead of slavish adherence to a plan that wont work.
As an example and maybe idea for another video, if German high command had accepted that the Schlieffen plan was impossible now, they might just let Belgium be neutral and concentrate on the Eastern front.
The only way the Schlieffen plan would work would be fatal errors by the French or randomly giving Germany a 20 year technological advantage.
Actually, some historians argue that the plan was not executed correctly and if it were, it would have worked, better than our timeline at least.
I think the imperial brotherhood or the central powers would win since Japan's goals in the Pacific will clash with the US for who has more power in the Pacific

(called the Kiswahili Sultanate) what if the age of exploration never happened?
Surely TTL Ottoman Empire is in a better position overall as a legitimate institution vs OTL wartorn one? Why does it fall apart so irreparably here?

It’s important to note that Germany actually nearly won the First World War, the French were very close to breaking and the British were experiencing large amounts of mutinies, America only provided the morale boost that the entente needed to carry onto the finish line, so Germany winning isn’t as complex as people make it seem

Interesting! Coming from a French Canadian background myself, if France gained influence in Québec against Great Britain, that would be interesting to see. Québec is always fighting against Canada anyway. I don't see Québec having that unity against Canada right now, because of eastern and western divisions in Québec. However, France could have influence like that in its former colony if tensions were still the same way as in the 1700's. I'm sure it would be short lived though.
Honestly, with the combined fleets of Britain AND Japan during World War II, assuming there was no fleet restrictions like in our timeline, I don't see the French faction's navy standing an iota of a chance outside of home ports. You didn't touch much on the Kriegsmarine, so maybe they're a force to be reckoned with, but I DO see Italy's fleet being a huge presence in the Mediterranean. Could even have them decide the outcome of the Spanish civil war, what with their home ports being so close by. The Suez would likely fall due to the proximity of both Italy AND French Jerusalem, so Britain might have trouble holding onto that, but anything outside of those inland seas would definitely be fully within the control of the British and Japanese navies. The smartest thing for Britain to do, is to let France fight a 2 front war, (Perhaps taking lessons from their foray into France during the syndicalist uprising?) against Germany and Italy in the East, and Britain in the North.
I think it really falls down to where the United States throws it's hat in. We've got a similar situation to WWI in that the Great Powers of this timeline easily balance each other, keeping a decisive victory far from hand. With the population and industrial output of a (Woken Giant) United States, I see it really pushing the scales in favor of whichever side they join.
It could be a tossup, but I believe the British and Japanese factions would win JUST on the control of the shipping lanes alone. If they aren't able to repel German air force attacks or stave off a, Sealion-esque invasion from the Germans or French, then they lose, but as we saw in our own timeline, that was immensely difficult to plan for the Germans WITHOUT a war against a revanchist France. (That might be pushing it, but well whatever).
The video is great! But as an editors note. During the section where you list the ethnicities of the Austro-Hungarian Empire you mixed up the order you listed Serbs and Croats compared to the order they were displayed on the map. (It's not like any major wars have happened in the area about this sort of thing /j.)

Hmm the USA picking a side would decide the Victor in an a alternative world war 2 considering the USA is not part of the three alliences. I imagine the three alliences try to get the USA on their side

Like Greece somehow manages to beat both Bulgaria and Ottomans meanwhile the ridiculous amount of land Armenians gained would've make them Turkish majority and last but not least is that Cilician Kingdom. That shit is pure comedy gold. IRL Christian in that region didn't even make up a quarter of the population there but yet they somehow establish a kingdom.

Kaiserfallen (Emperors Fall) would be my suggestion as this scenario seems to me at least indicate towards a general collapse of Empires with the complicated nature of this timelines ww2 and overstretching of nations and Empires leading up to it.

Idea: what if the German Empire and Austria Hungary united.
This is how I think it will go: it's 1908 Austria Hungary just annex Bosnia but this cause more tensions within the empire and still unable to make reforms cuz of the deadlock with the Magyars. Franz Joseph and other Austrian officials see the writing on the wall that the empire will collapse soon and so, they propose a unifications with the German Empire to save themselves and their crumbling empire. This empire will be called the "Central European Empire" or "Mitteleuropäisch Reich" for all the ethic groups in this crazy empire. This empire will be under a diarchy by the two royal houses of Hohenzollern and Habsburg with a constitution similar to either the Austro Hungarian Empire (constitutional monarchy) or the German Empire (semi constitutional monarchy). I would also think that this new empire will either oppressed all the minority ethic groups cuz there are more Germans now or give them autonomy and turn the empire into a federal state similar to the USA with each ethic group having their own state and say in their local government.
Regarding the so-called Schlieffen Plan, I would recommend reading "recent" historical research based on new sources that became available in the early 2000s. Check out Terence Zuber's great work: The Real German War Plan 1904-14. Essentially there was no such thing as the Schlieffen Plan. On the contrary, Schlieffen's actual recommendation/plan was to do the exact opposite and use Germany's interior lines, meaning NOT to march into France.

The Austrian become a great power again
A great realistic alt history scenario. Except at 9:50, Georgia shouldnt be a German puppet and be given to the Ottomans. It's too far from the rest of the German Empire, will be highly vulnerable to rebellions from a hostile Russian-allied population, and wouldn't make sense from a resource perspective since oil still wasn't highly sought out due to tanks not being very popular yet (though the caucuses had alot of natural oil stored which Nazi Germany will aim for in it's war with the Soviet Union 25 years later from the Treaty of Versailles)
At least the Ottomans controlled some of Georgia before the Russians did, and there's also an minor Islamic Georgian population, so the close Ottomans have some claim of controlling Georgia unlike the far away Germans.
I know you like Greece and a lot of people are Greek/Roman fanboys but I've seen you showing Bulgaria as a pretty weak country in your videos. If we are talking WW1 era Bulgaria there is no way that Greece can defeat Bulgaria, I doubt even with help of Romania at that time especially. And the closest country to getting constantinopol from the Ottomans was Bulgaria in first balkan war they fought one on one with the most elite ottoman troops and won. The whole country was VERY militarised that's why the title 'prussia of the balkans'.

In this scenario, Austria would win big time, as everybody else has to fight two different opponents, losing men, ressources and stability, while Austria grows and grows economically and in terms of trade and negotiation positions. Maybe they could even become THE hegemonial power with Spain being tied to Austria, and Austria sooner or later gaining indirect power over the Balkans. Also nobody would dare attack a neutral Austria, as it would automatically generate a new powerful enemy.
And if the dice fall perfectly in position, Austria could still always take advantage of completely devastated countries towards the end of the war, setting the coupe de grace towards the losers.

I am actually personally working on a timeline where Austria wins World War 1, so I'd love to see your take on it! I don't expect us to see similar outcomes in ours though, as you already said you'd make a victorious Austria a superpower, which I don't see as feasible in the timeline I am making, where the only goal is stabilizing the region for their own survival.
I believe I recall people saying that WW1 was as much the death of Monarchy as much as it was death of German and Austrian Empires. It is interesting thus that this iteration of AH emphasizes on continuation of authoritarianism and power struggle of Europe. I wonder how the world would change as communism not waging an ideological war against the world in this timeline post WW2

In terms of a name for the scenario, I was thinking "Pax Germanica" or something similar (although this scenario doesn't seem all that peaceful so maybe not).
