    Greece in this scenario is like Romania. Who, in a short few years, managed to retake all of their regions and also humiliate their enemy, the Hungarians, by taking their capital. However the main difference, and the reason why this didn't happen in our timeline, is that Romania was a large anti-Soviet bulwark. And Turkey too. This is why the allies supported Turkey

    As a Greek, this was amazing to watch! Especially considering you took Pontus in consideration, including adding their own faction in the Anatolian war, and giving them an amazing flag! Afterall, the Pontic insurgents had started their war since 1916, so since Greece took part much earlier in this timeline, they probably organized much better than OTL. I hope a part 2 comes soon. Also, since Orthodoxy plays a pivotal role in National Identity, does that mean the Orthodox Christian Albanians of the South get Hellenized?

    • @geo46
      @geo46 11 месяцев назад

      Orthodox Christian Albanians are simply Greeks. The 1 and only reason for the creation of Albania is so that the Italians, Germans and Austrians can keep Greece out of the Adriatic. The Orthodox in Albania were always on Greece's side while the Muslim (Turkalbanians) wanted to remain in Ottoman Empire and refused the Western Powers when they tried convincing them that they are Albanians. I'm sure you know this but there's an internationally recognized ethnic Greek minority in Southern Albania living in their ancestral land called Epirus that are currently being persecuted.

      The way we left them to themselves and how we left the Middle East carved up killed millions of ancient Assyrian Christian’s and Armenians and middle eastern Christian’s as well as 3/4 million Greeks. Lebanon should’ve also been maintained as a strong Christian stronghold. But all we cared about or were influenced by was Zionist powers and dreams who didn’t mind sacrificing as many Christian’s and Muslims as necessary to achieve their goals. And Christians are so ignorant of this history they are rabid supporters of the very people who continued to allow millions of their kin to die. Even recently in arghano krabakh Armenians were ethnically cleanesed just months ago by Turkic Azerbaijanis with Israeli weapons as Israel wants their gas and oil. Disgusting

    Rises from the ashes like the Purple Phoenix, the Byzantine Empire is back under the new dynasty of Consatino and ruled by Roman Emperor Alexander I. This is a great scenario, Mr. Videntis. Please keep up the fantastic work, and keep going with what you are doing. This is a true dream, with Greece restoring its old glory. Bravo, my friend, and this is a beautiful masterpiece. You deserve respect and recognition for putting in the effort to make this. I really mean it! The idea for part two is how Byzantines would do in WWII. Byzantium, usually now called the Empire of Rhomania, would form their own alliances called the Eastern Brothers.
    They could strike Yugoulsgiva, Bulgaria, and possibly the Germans and Italians in advance by defeating them at sea and taking some of their African holdings. Byzantium could do a naval invasion of Italy itself and place one of Alexander's children as the new king of Italy. It would help France defeat the Germans much earlier and help France get more of the territories it desired. Those are my ideas for part two. What do you think of that idea for part two, Mr. Vidnetis? Any thoughts, comments, and opinions about this idea? Also, we are still planning to do part two of "What if Spain and Portugal in 1498?" I still want to know what happened next, and I would see a video where a united Iberia has an Iberian Emperor; now that is worth seeing.
    Here are some ideas for future alternate history videos:
    What if Oda Nobunaga had survived his assassination attempt and became the first Shogun and Chancellor of the Realms? Through his survival, he could lead Japan to greatness by adapting to Western traditions using gunpowder, for they quickly took Korea and all of Ming China with the right proportions. Was the Imjin War more prosperous under a Nobunga Shoungate? What was Japan becoming the Greater Empire of Japan or Greater Yamanato Empire, and what did this earlier Empire of Japan do beyond China and be able to colonize Siberia and Alaska?
    What if the Empire of Ethiopia never fell but survived through the modern era? What if the Empire of Ethiopia united all of Africa and led an actual African Union?
    What if Novogord unified the Russian states instead of Muscovy? Would a Russian Empire have been under Muscovy or a Russian Republic during the Renaissance Era? What would change this course of history, and how would Russia under Nogvord differ from Muscovy?
    What if the Mauryan Empire never fell but remained united and stable and was able to become a superpower in South Asia? What if the Mauryans occupied some Greek states along with ancient Persia? How powerful could a mega Indian Empire be in the Ancient World?
    Which ideas do you like best, Mr. Videntis, and why? Again, terrific work on this extraordinary scenario, and keep up doing the outstanding job. I give this video 100 out of 100!

      It's always easy start talking about small countries that rebuild their empires of the past or new ones but these ucronias are just sci-fi or fantasy stuff.
      These scenario doesn't match the economical, demographical and political chances of the times they are picked from.
      Like saying that Mussolini would have made a new "Roman Empire"... But it was an historical false. Even if he was able to conquer something more than what done by the Kingdom, that would have been the "Italian empire", not Roman.
      No one anymore can claim to have direct descendancy and bounds with Rome. Except maybe for Italians itself and the Vatican State, but even us Italians don't want to run that path. It's pointless. It's old, anachronistic, a waste of time and money.
      In short, such scenarios are poor and mostly made by fantasies.

To make it worse both nationalist parties from both countries hate each other over things from the past. Rather working together to be something great again they try to work against each other.
