The film is truly amazing and Rebecca gave a wonderful performance, complex and haunting. Christine Chubbuck deserved such portrayal for many decades, and finally it's here. This movie is a treasure.
I've tried my best to study the real christine chubbuck and there isnt much out there about her. I had to dig and dig to find a video with the real christine speaking. I relate to her on a deep level. I'm so glad they made a movie about her. She deserves to be known.

Completely agree. Just recently found this movie and think it's exceptional. Rebecca Hall was superb. To me so reminiscent of Sarah Silverman's work in I Smile Back and Jennifer Lopez in An Unfinished Life where an actress who's done some really good stuff just seemingly comes almost out of nowhere to deliver an astonishing performance.

Ugh, god, Rebecca Hall deserved it more than Emma Stone, and I mean nothing against Emma Stone -- but Rebecca's performance just fucking _struck_ me in a way that Emma's just... I almost want to laugh at how far from not doing that Emma's performance was, as entertaining as it might have been. But this story, and her approach to Christine's character, was so goddamn beautiful.
