First time getting the good ending hit me man, played all Metro games before this and the impact of Millers words, of what they gone through, all the burden and hardship they did, the ending was really heart warming and heavy
I may be rewatching this video game, but i have to say, this series to me one of the few games that the whole series i think is an absolute masterpiece, and plus, given that its already confirmed to have a sequel, i cant wait to see what they do more ith this series, cause so far, to me, i feel like this series will be popular for a long time and everyone will wanna play this series, no matter how old itll be.
hi, you have been my favorite gamer since "God of War" , and you're the best i have watched so far ^_^ thank you for the hardwork and hope u the best :)
funny trivia: With the original Metro they programmed realistic sneaking at one point during development, but testers found it almost impossible to complete the game so the devs dumbed down the mechanic.
Nastya is definitely a very good example of how to write child characters in video games she not annoying she decently smart and the dialogue between her and Stephan is so adorable
i remember my dad brought home this game, it was a game pack wit two other metro games. i tried to get through but as my mom is christian she just kept saying "put that down! those are demons, plus you're a girl you're not supposed to be playing silly games anyways". my dad divorced her after that he just couldn't take it anymore. but you brought back my childhood ima go buy it soon. it's been 4 yrs, i was 13 when he bought that game. now im 17. thank you for bringing back this memory of mine-
I'm currently playing Last Light, and I can't wait to finish it (it too is a great game, though!) to play Exodus! Also - 4:08 - Ukraine today. Fuck me, it's really sad what Russia is doing to their brothers.
Great walkthrough. My first Metro game, been playing through the Enhanced Edition, looks so great. Not used the video to cheat, but to watch how you approached things, after I completed the section myself. I'm at about 7:54:21 in the video, although I've already been back to see what the next main part of the mission was by going back to the train at the X in the map and done the centre ?'s
Interesting symbols in this game. Two headed eagle (phoenix) as the symbol for the secretive organization that controls the government...bad guy is named "Baron/Saul"...their group preaches "Order from Chaos" and keeps slaves in the post Apocalyptic world. Bad guys are called "Tribal"... American company could never make a game like this.
I Completed Metro Redux 2033 & Metro Redux : Last light But unfortunately my PC can not run this game so I Thought I should see the gameplay.I hope i could play it one day.
This and the other games In the Metro series are absolutely amazing and can honestly say are the best games I have ever played, which have left a real yearning in me to play them again, something that I never do. 👍👏
Moscow Metro. 2055. There is a bit of a story around here. It tells the tale of a person named Artyom, a member of the Order who was constantly plagued with a desire to leave the Metro until finally getting his wish in 2035. He and several other members of the Order staged a revolt that year and, with the help of an engineer named Yermak, stole a train the Hansa had been using. From there, the details are largely forgotten to the depths of time, except by a Hansa agent report from a year afterward saying that Artyom's crew on the stolen train was heading in the direction of the city Novosibirsk for unknown reasons. Why anybody would want to go to that hellhole of a city is a mystery as far as I'm concerned. Aside from that, there is no knowledge on where he or the rest of the people on that train went. I can't help but think that something seems...off by this story. It was released by the Hansa yesterday, so there could be some form of bias on their part. That could explain why Artyom is made out to be a criminal when, from what I know, most people in the Metro actually liked or even admired him. I suppose that's what happens when you're heavily involved with the Dark Ones and come out alive and well, huh? Either way, something seems fishy, which means I've gotta do some more digging. From what I can gather, Artyom likely left some of his journals here in the Metro, so maybe I can gather more information on where he was going. If I'm going to find out the truth about what happened, what better way than to ask the people who escaped in the first place?
Moscow Metro 2055 2 hours later Damn it! All of the journals Artyom left behind are either from before 2035 or just before his supposed "revolt" against the Hansa. I'm not exactly the biggest fan of a dead end and yet I've just hit one. Fuck! Wait...hold on. One of the journals details him and his wife Anna heading up to the Surface in order to check on a radio signal of some kind in 2035. If I can retrace their steps, I might be able to find where they went. Seems like they expected Watchers to be near the location, a broken apartment complex not far from a snow covered highway next to the railroad. I know they made it out of there alive, but I've got to go to the location where they sat down for the radio progress, as that's my only lead so far.
Moscow Surface 2055 3 hours later. Well I'll be! While wandering the snow covered highway near to the collapsed apartment complex where Artyom and Anna went to for radio monitoring in 2035, I found a bit of a hole in the ground. Going inside it revealed a station of the Metro that was largely abandoned in terms of people, but that's about it. There were food canisters, bottles of water, guns, ammunition crates, pairs of night vision goggles, coats, gloves, thick boots, and various other items scattered throughout the station. There were also symbols put about on the walls and on a lantern: a symbol very similar to the Spartan Order, but with the background of a lake. With this in mind, I immediately knew that Artyom and the rest of the Spartan Order that fled Moscow returned at some point, using this station to most likely contact other residents in the Metro tunnels and get them out of the city. Various residents did suddenly disappear in varying quantities from 2040-2046, but we all assumed it was that those people were attacked by Watchers or some form of creature, not that they were running away from Moscow. Later, when I reached above the railroad, I saw the massive light of a train shining in the distance. As the train came closer, I realized that it had been equipped with a snowplow in the front, likely from Novosibirsk because of the city's famous railway technology museum. The snowplow made short work of the snow blocking the tracks, and the train continued to rush on. As it kept going, I noticed a name carved into the side of the boiler: Aurora, which must be the name of the train itself. I didn't dare take out my rifle as I saw the people inside the train equipped with dozens of rifles. The train continued to rush past, a tanker likely filled with water just behind it, a passenger car covered in armor just behind the tanker, another similar looking passenger car, and then another similar looking passenger car to end off the train. It continued to rush off into the snow, clearing the tracks with it's massive snowplow as it went. Suddenly, I heard a loud noise and then a whistle as the train screeched to a stop. It then started to back up, and continued to back up until it was just in front of the bridge. Various people in steel armor came out, carrying rifles, pistols, and SMG's loaded with ammo. However, they refused to shoot or even attack me. This surprised me somewhat and I was plagued with confusion. "Wait. You're not going to shoot me?" One of the people, a man that I assumed to be a commanding officer, lowered his rifle with one hand. When he spoke, he did so with a tone of kindness, yet he was being stern at the same time. Smart guy. "Of course not! We're not like the Hansa, the Fourth Reich, or even the Red Line: we don't mindlessly kill people just for being here. The name is Idiot, and no, you may not ask why I was named so. So then, tell me: who are you?" My only response was silence from trying to process what was going on or if I should even talk to him. I must have made a face Idiot recognized, as he nodded. "I understand. You're confused, you don't know what's going on, who we are, or if you can even trust me in particular. It's okay if you feel that way: quite the natural response to strangers armed with guns if you ask me."
Moscow Surface 2055 1 minute later. I finally spoke up, and even then I was stuttering like shit due to a combination of fear and the freezing cold slowly warming it's way into my body. "W-w-well then w-what's with t-t-the guns?" Idiot made a sound that was akin to a sigh before replying. "Before you talk any further, it seems like you are scared and freezing cold from staying out in the blizzard too long. Kirill will escort you to the train for warmth, unless you want to keep freezing." I couldn't speak very well, so I instead just nodded my head slowly. Idiot made a chuckle sound inside his gas mask. "Alright then. Kirill!" His voice sounded throughout the area. Another man, one presumably younger and smaller than Idiot, came from one of the passenger cars. He carried his rifle with knowledge and confidence, yet his expression inside his gas mask was still that of friendliness. He stepped out onto the snow covered ground and replied to Idiot. "You asked for me, sir?" Idiot responded with a nodding of his head saying yes before speaking once more. "Could you please take....um....what's your name and age, kid?" he asked me. I wasn't sure how to respond at first, but I gathered up the courage to speak with confidence. I was no longer very fearful, but I was still cold, so I still stuttered as I answered the question. "K-k-Kutz. A-a-age 20." Idiot made what looked like a smile behind his gas mask, but I couldn't tell for sure. "Alright then," he turned back towards Kirill, who was still holding his rifle. "Kirill. Could you please take Kutz inside the train? Poor kid is freezing up." Kirill lowered his rifle with one hand and then replied to what Idiot requested. "Of course. I'll take him to passenger car #2 for warming up," he turned towards me, "Kutz, huh? Alright Kutz, please come with me. That is unless you wanna keep freezing, of course." My head was starting to freeze, so I slowly shook my head and then followed Kirill to passenger car #2. He helped me to climb aboard before sitting me down at a fireplace to warm up. The heat was so refreshing and so relaxing I was starting to fall asleep. Eventually, I did, though Kirill told me before I fell asleep that the crew promised not to move the train whatsoever.
Aboard the Aurora. Passenger Car 02. 2055. 1 hour later. I woke up next to the fire feeling much warmer and more comfortable than I would be even if I were in Polis Station. My rifle was on a nearby table, the weapon cleaned of any mud or grime. Idiot was waiting close by and was able to speak to me clearly this time. "Now, I'm going to ask you this question. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to: what were you doing out there?" I quickly told the truth, hoping that would get him off my case. "I was hoping to retrace Artyom's steps so that I could figure out where he went. The whole of the Hansa has made him out to be an insane criminal when I know that's not true." When I finished, Idiot looked like he was about to start screaming in rage. "Those fucking--motherfucking--fuckers! OF COURSE they would do this: they have been lied to for 42 years. Played like damn fiddles!" I had a little bit of confusion on my face in response to what Idiot just said. "What? Lied to for 42 years? What are you saying?" Idiot was about to say something, but he stopped himself. He then decided to say something different. "I'll tell you more about that later. Artyom especially can provide you with the best information for that stuff along with his wife, as they were able to grasp the shitstorm they were in much more than I could all those years ago. I would call for Colonel Miller, but he died while getting Artyom out of Novosibirsk 19 years ago. Very good man." Idiot suddenly looked very sad. Then, he immediately perked up again and spoke louder. "Anyway, next question: do you want to come aboard the Aurora while we're heading out of Moscow?" I immediately had no idea how to respond. Me being on the Aurora, traveling away from my home for the chance of a new life on the Surface, finally meeting Artyom and his family in person. However, I would be leaving all of my friends behind for a while, possibly forever. It took a few minutes to deliberate on it, but I finally came up with my answer, and so I replied to his question as truthfully as possible with only one word. "Yes."
Metro Awakening is a first-person adventure game that is built exclusively for VR. It is a blend of stealth, combat, and survival, along with a gripping story. The game is said to arrive on all major headsets sometime in 2024.

Let people play in consoles if they want to.They're not shitting in front of your door and putting a paper on top of it that says "HEY I PLAY ON CONSOLE". No matter how better PC gaming is, let people do their stuff and do yours.
So I played through all these games a year ago back to back and straight up fell in love with this series. A year later I'm revisiting them so as to not waste money on games I'm not fully interested in. Waiting for Amnesia Bunker to come out and it keeps getting delayed. Played through RE4REMAKE twice and just don't wanna spend my money on anything I'm not completely sold on. So like I said I dived head first into the Metro series again. I have to say... Blown away on my second playthroughs. Games like these are just worth the money. Again and again. The replay value is just there.
1h in ... Im liking it but i gotta admit, the game dialogue is weird like ... Its not the accent, its just that you can feel that the dialogue is sooo forced, like, it doesnt go natural, the dialogue has no life, no soul, it clearly shows that someone is reading things on a paper
You're exactly right. It's a plague that the majority of western games are facing these days. I don't know where they're getting these passionless jokers from
the game was made in russian and then the dialogue translations were made for other languages. characters dialogue overlaps each other because russian is naturally faster and changing animations for simple translations is hella expensive for a game this detailed.
i felt that numerous times. yeah. sometimes the body motion would be a second off, and the reaction some characters had given the situation seemed lifeless
If you read the book Metro 2035, you will be dissapointed. No travel, no steam-train, no Anna-Artem love (there is but at the end). Im somehow... split.
Late response, but just incase. You need Duke alive, Damir to stay with you and Alyosha not wounded to get the good ending. You can still get good ending without 1 of those, but no more than that. I got Duke and Alyosha in mine, but Damir left and still got good ending. As for the how, don't kill innocent people, anyone who surrenders or whenever a character in the game says "don't kill (insert whatever name or group)". Damir is more work because you need to free all slaves in Caspian before final mission and not kill Tribals, who will try to kill you if they spot you, so you need to be extra stealthy with them.
My first time seeing gameplay from this. This game looks fucking awesome. Somebody poured their heart and soul into this masterpiece.

Allow me also to commend you on your editing, awesome job - there were very few places where I lost track of where you were at in the game, only because I hadn't been there yet myself. Commentaries can be entertaining, but I do prefer walkthroughs without it.
This is a truly great walkthrough of one of my favorite franchises of all time. Thanks again, man.
love dat GAME CRUSHED moment, awesome walkthrough, dude

Just watched this..all i can say is great job and this is an awesome game ..i played the metro 2033 and the metro last light ..looking forward in playing this myself when i have a capable pc for this..again thanks for this 👏👏👏
Im playing it now love it
how very generous of you playing with such expertise, and very entertaining as well.
"Expertise"? Dude this guy is playing on Reader Mode, basically baby mode. And he ruins the immersion countless of times by going ahead of the NPCs he's supposed to follow
First time getting the good ending hit me man, played all Metro games before this and the impact of Millers words, of what they gone through, all the burden and hardship they did, the ending was really heart warming and heavy
this game is beautiful. thanks for the gameplay.
The music at the end is hauntingly beautiful.
Man this is amazing im straight wached six hours and the game itself is just becoming more amazing
hi, you have been my favorite gamer since "God of War" , and you're the best i have watched so far ^_^
thank you for the hardwork and hope u the best :)

1:37:24 LOL, I love the sneak logic in games... :D
funny trivia: With the original Metro they programmed realistic sneaking at one point during development, but testers found it almost impossible to complete the game so the devs dumbed down the mechanic.
2:21:00 At highest difficulty, this mission is insanely tough.
5:09:13 I see you MK trying to lowkey exit the conversation hahhhaha
This game made me cry bro, what a beautiful storyline. I hope metro is gonna continue
Thank you for the beautiful game-play. I enjoyed every minute of it.
I think Artyom is the quite kid in the class back in the day
Nastya is definitely a very good example of how to write child characters in video games she not annoying she decently smart and the dialogue between her and Stephan is so adorable

In November 2020, 4A Games announced it was working on a sequel to Metro Exodus. Glukhovsky will be involved in the game's development.

When you almost watch a 16 hour film it's justified to shed a tear if you can
Great walkthrough.
After a month of not finishing this/stopping 2 hrs into this, I finally finished watching this walkthrough

This and the other games In the Metro series are absolutely amazing and can honestly say are the best games I have ever played, which have left a real yearning in me to play them again, something that I never do. 👍👏
The end was kinda touching, i have to say.
Moscow Metro
2055
2 hours later
Damn it!
Moscow Surface
2055
3 hours later.
Moscow Surface

1 minute later.
"Yes."
The thing we had learnt form this game that war couldn't be an option. We should keep our Earth healthy, for us, for our future ones.
Metro Awakening is a first-person adventure game that is built exclusively for VR. It is a blend of stealth, combat, and survival, along with a gripping story. The game is said to arrive on all major headsets sometime in 2024.

You should always aim for pc walkthroughs when possible because it not only attracts more views for you but its better quality and future proof. Your odyssey walkthrough wasnt as good as origins cause of that.
Meh...I'm here for the story
PC walkthroughts are better, aiming with a joystick is too hard and frustrating.
Anthony J. For the novice maybe
@@hivemind5137 joystick can't be played as good as a mouse... Novice or pro... Auto aim or aim assist is baked into most console games
Olga is my favorite character in this game. Lady's got everything C:
Dragooncore she is honestly hotter than anna
That Monster that jumped at you scared the hell out of me lord have mercy 🤣😭👍
@@jase276 i just loved how you described them as "passionless", that word fits so perfectly 😂
@@bruhreece thats true tho, it makes sense the dialogue overlappin, but i meant the lack of spirit in the dialogues 😅
i felt that numerous times. yeah.

If you read the book Metro 2035, you will be dissapointed. No travel, no steam-train, no Anna-Artem love (there is but at the end).
Im somehow... split.
i wished i played the game with good ending but still it was a perfect game even with its bad ending.
What the hell??? My game ended by Artem dying and Anna crying over his grave... How in hell did that happen? Are there different endings to this game?
Late response, but just incase. You need Duke alive, Damir to stay with you and Alyosha not wounded to get the good ending. You can still get good ending without 1 of those, but no more than that.
I got Duke and Alyosha in mine, but Damir left and still got good ending. As for the how, don't kill innocent people, anyone who surrenders or whenever a character in the game says "don't kill (insert whatever name or group)".
Damir is more work because you need to free all slaves in Caspian before final mission and not kill Tribals, who will try to kill you if they spot you, so you need to be extra stealthy with them.
hey guys if u have played THE PLAGUE GAME there is a boy whose name is ARTYOM
Awesome! You got the good ending!
