My mom,little brother (age six) dad, grandma, aunt and best friend just died in a car crash on their way to my graduation. I just left the funeral, this song made me feel a little better and your music has helped me through so much. These lyrics hit me the most. I hate to admit i thought of this at a young age around 13 yrs old. The fact that we only have so much time here in this world pressures and scares me because I haven’t done something i would really be proud of yet. I’m still finding a reason to live here in this world. Sometimes i feel lost but one thing i know is to never go down the rabbit hole of drinking, smoking, or anything that can hurt me or is a temporary pleasure. Never tried meditation, maybe that works. There are many other healthy ways of coping it. But I still haven’t found my true purpose. I have a few hobbies so I’m working on that. But i don’t have anything I am really good at. Maybe i should keep trying new things. I hope I’ll find it one day.
I have only just now realized, reading your comment, that it isn't normal to be worrying about your existential place in the world at age 13. Huh. Looking back, it's hard to fathom what most people's childhoods were like. Anxiety meant I overthought everything, and that meant I never really had naivete. Add that to being a "gifted child", and, well...

Guys you don't understand this is about Normandy beach on D-day during Operation Overlord in WW2. Germany and the rest of the Axis Powers had taken over a lot of land, like, imagine Europe minus Spain and Portugal (they were too busy for the world war), Switzerland (notoriously neutral), Sweden (yeah they had Norway and Finland but not Sweden), Britain, Iceland and Ireland. British, Americans and some spare change from France were rushed over to Normandy beach to storm Germany in high hopes to turn the war around. They succeeded, but it was still a massacre. This piece of the song is about one of the soldiers who survived, but his best friend didn't, remembering June 6, 1944 when he crawled over on the beach of Normandy to his friend floating in the english channel.

This song basically describes me, I don’t even know who I am. All I know is what I want to do in life, an actor, like the lyric “with a lifelong dream to become a movie star” but I can’t do it. Sometimes I wonder if I get my hopes up way too high, and I’ll end up wasting my life away for the worst. I just have no one to ask, to tell, to be with in a way. Life isn’t bad, but only if you go the right path, but which path to take? That’s up to you, but it’s not. Life isn’t just going down a path and it being good. If it went like that, it would be amazing, but we’d face other problems, problems, there’s always going to be problems, no matter what. But don’t take that as in which path to take, take it as “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get” it’s true. There’s no way of telling what’s going to happen, but if you have the trust, the faith, the energy, to face all of this. Then it will gift you, with an amazing path, but, if you take the wrong path, it will punish you, for your mistakes, but that’s why they happen, to learn. But sometimes, it’s not always the same, sometimes, people don’t want to learn, they don’t want to take the blame, so what do they do? They blame *you* , how do we react? We fight, like we should. They might now believe us, but that’s not important, who has the guilt? Them. Who got the punishment? You. Did you deserve it? No. Of course not. All this life, trying to make the right path, and this is what you get. But, it’s not life punishing you, it’s life punishing them, I’ll say it again, who has the guilt? Them. What did you get out of reading this? Hopefully, courage, it doesn’t matter if it’s midnight, 3 am, or anything. Make something out of this, choose the right path, and help others choose the right path, I may be 10, you could be any age, but that’s no excuse for it. At the end of your life of good choices, you will be rewarded. So make someone’s day great. I believe in you.
