Thanks for the video Peter, but not even one van conversion. I thought they were in demand.
They are in BIG demand but here we tried to focus on what's really new at the show - and we had a very short time to get the film shot and edited. Lots of news in smaller campervans, not so much in larger van conversions. Did see a new Murvi, though - the Pimento XL SB - which really impressed and Three Bridge had a very swish conversion on the MAN van

Good luck with getting hold of any new models, we have an Adria on order since September 2021 and are now being told delivery might!! Be late May😱
There are a few brands with (slightly) better availability but anything based on a Fiat is likely to have a long lead time because deliveries of the Ducato have been all over the place and the factory keeps shutting because of semiconductor supply issues. Anyone wanting a 'van for this season will have to shop around...

Did you get a chance to view the Three Bridge, Trek? Can you please do a review on it, have only been able to find a couple of short summaries of it but none in full detail. It looks interesting.
We're waiting for Three Bridge to supply the Trek for test. It needed to be re-plated to 3,800kg first

Layout is similar but it feels much plusher than the Pegaso

10:50 the 26 miles of electric range is awful, how far will the range extender go?
300 miles
It only really works if you have a short daily commute (on electric) or live in a low emissions zone but it's a start. At least the overall range of 300 miles is acceptable, unlike any fully electric camper we've seen yet
Any interiors that dont cater for people who holiday in Dubai or live in 80’s bungalows?
There are plenty of different styles on the market. All depends on your own taste
From just returned from a weeks rental in a motor home and we are curious and contemplating buying a motor home but two certain criteria is not a Fiat engine or cab, engine so agricultural, and that’s coming from someone who drives a Land Rover Defender, the dash is so cheap and nasty. Secondly, definitely no suicide door habitation entry. I see why there’s so many on offer as the market can’t keep up with demand but I see on this review two very nice Italian made homes with the on the left (right) side.

There's plenty of choice on Ford now, or even Mercedes, but my favourite chassis is the VW Crafter or MAN TGE.
Being disabled, do you know what would be the best van to store a large mobility scooter in the garage?
There is a few with bigger garage but those ones has some steps inside and a higher bed which can be a problem.
We bought a Bennimar Mileo 331 and we are thinking to install a ramp on towbar to transport a mobility scooter.
There should be plenty of models with a big enough garage, including some fixed bed van conversions, but how will you get the scooter into the garage? With a ramp?
@@MotorhomeCampervan yes. There's a scooter called the Quingo Flyte that loads itself into a car boot/garage etc on twin rails via a remote control. So far the only motorhome I've seen with a garage wide enough is the Burstner Lyseo M Harmony, although the price tag for that is rather eye watering. 😱
Nice review Peter. Will you be reviewing the Knaus 4x4 Man Tribal Edition? What are you thoughts comparing this to the Hymer ML-T 580 4x4 please. Darren and Sharon for Western Australia.
No plans for the Tribal at the mo as it's rather a limited edition. I think the ML-T might have more ground clearance for off-road driving, but I do like the MAN to drive

I've got a suspicion that the T-Line range from Roller Team are actually built in Grimsby rather than Italy. The same goes for rear lounge Benimar motorhomes. These are not commercialised (and where not shown at Caravan Salon) on the continent which makes sense for Trigano to have them built in the market where they are sold.
All Rollerteams definitely built in Italy apart from the Toleno Van conversions.
The only Benimar and Roller Team 'vans built in the UK are the campervans - Benivan and Toleno.
As regards the motorhomes, there is so much commonality with other models in the coachbuilt ranges (despite UK layouts) that it wouldn't make sense to build them at Auto-Trail
I'm torn between the mobilvetta's compactness, and the coachman's build quality. It's not easy, this mororhome choosing lark.

How do people afford these things?
Pension pots, downsizing houses, selling a business, inheritance... Many buyers are retired and, although prices seem high, residual values are excellent and you can benefit from years of cheap holidays, rather than spend it on cruises, etc.
Hey Peter, visited Friday and what a massive disappointment, your videos were so much better than a packed venue and on a show that should have been called VW Camper Show, waste of a days leave
Shame you didn't enjoy the show. It was VERY busy and there were some big brands missing - Swift, Hymer, Burstner, etc
Need to see toilet with bidet...
