Nobody should judge you at all. You’ve done the right thing and would have done exactly the same. Thank you for sharing your haul and glad you had a great trip.
The different palm trees that Lego has, help add to the true reality of Real palm tree variety. I grew up with palm trees, that's how I know about them. Arizona, California and Texas have variety of palms.
You are great at thinking thru your Lego purchases so enjoy them fully. Really nice gifts also with lots of great useable parts and stickers. I am thinking about getting the Trelawney book set as I have seen some very good MOCs with parts of this set. Really looking forward to your HP MOCs also. I cannot wait for the releases on June 19th. Enjoy the long weekend!
You should put the City Garden in the back of a closet or some storage space and hopefully forget about it. That way it's either A) you come across it in a couple of years and it will be more fun to build it, or B) you come across it in a couple of years and it has gone up in value a lot and then you can decide to sell it or use it for MOCs. Nice haul. I think I have to try the Gouda store someday. Though you probably have picked up the best pieces. 😉
Loved that you took advantage of the exchange rate! It seems like those in the UK get screwed w the prices. Oh and don’t forget to watch Raya and the Last Dragon this weekend!!
No shaming necessary, no judgement! Awesome sets and hey, who know what the future brings for that City Gardens set. For now you have other awesome new sets to focus on, riiight? And congratulations on reaching 5K!
I just wanted to say thank you for all the great content i just lost my wife to cancer and watching uour and emma vids along with others help me cope thsnk you so much much love for you guys and thd lego hobby i enjoy
Congratulations again on reaching 5 K! You invest so much time creating all your vlogs, reviews and lives for us so I just wanted to say thank you ! And what a great haul, I am so excited for your Ninjago Gardens set, I hope you will create a moc with it. And you shouldn’t be judged by anyone, you earn your money and you spend it the way you want to.
Reya got the short straw, being released during the pandemic, but I think you’ll enjoy it. You really lucked out on your trip especially with that Ninjago set - I look forward to see what you come up with to enhance your existing Ninjago city. For your summer park, are you going to have a pool? Or an actual beach scene like in Noorderstrand outside of Den Haag? (Either will work) and the ice cream vendor is a fun little build. Look forward to Ben building the Tallneck (as I have ranted, the UK is t the only place where it is completely unavailable 😠 ). (I am jealous) regardless, glad you had a fun trip home. Thx for sharing your international haul with us! ツ
Im hoping to have more like a lake/beach scene as that would be pretty fun to create. I may start working on it soon. The main issue is that I don’t know where to store my different park versions
I hope you enjoy the Tallneck. When I first saw it, I wanted it day one, but now that I think about it, I'm keen on passing on it since it's constantly sold out and just get the Fender after I somehow get the Van Gogh. Sweet find on the defense book. I got my final book Monday which was Charms which to me was kinda lackluster compared to the other 5.
I absolutely don’t blame you getting another Ninjago set. 🤪 I don’t own it, but it’s a set I might get with VIP vouchers , because it’s just sooooo gorgeous! 😀The trunk is full of great stuff, but I’m looking to getting it cheaper.
I´d never spend VIP vouchers on sets that are so much cheaper in retail then they are with Lego themselves. VIP vouchers are for me for Lego exclusives only.
The ninjago city gardens new in box for that price is a steal. Whether it becomes a parts pack or stays an investment. Don´t have regrets, maybe adjust funds to have 300 pounds at hand to spend on steals when they present themselves, so you don´t have to have remourse like now.
Congratulations on reaching 5k. It looked like a great shopping trip. I have ordered parts and pieces overseas on brinklink due to the exchange rate. I ordered acrylic display stands from Australia and parts from Germany. I think your collections are amazing.
Ninjago City Gardens is not the set i was expecting...wow.. but that deal was really good indeed! Was at playtoday a week after you, and filled up on four cups
Don't be hard on yourself!!!! It is a amazing set!!! And cool other things you've bought!!! Bizar that you find the prices cheep here, I'm always looking for deals and the Netherlands is pretty expensive....
Doing a Ninjago MOC is something that I have gave a bit of thought (though doing it is not on my near term plans), and my conclusion was that buying Ninjago City sets doesn't give much advantage for the MOC. Because you will want to change colors and change the stores, and Ninjago city sets have a lot of very specific parts. For instance: the pieces used for the tower are really specific, it will be noticeable if you use it for something else. I believe you should keep it as an investment. Store it somewhere you don't see, and put a reminder for 2025. :)
At that price I might have been tempted myself, even though I’m not into Ninjago. If you decide to keep it as an investment set you’re guaranteed to get a good profit on it once it retires.
Not LEGO related; your hair looks gloriously curlier here, what did you do differently? Love the hair! I finally scored a Tallneck this week! Congrats on the Ninjago City Gardens. I would have done the same.
Ah thanks. It’s a bit hit and miss with the hair. This was filmed after I washed it in the morning so generally it looks nicest on those days. But it’s always unpredictable.
@@lauradegenhardt3148 YOU might have three in your possession? The set's got many useful pieces (many doors of various colours for instance), a beautiful tree, and probably enough pieces to use for the trunk of a second magnificent tree.

My LEGO obsessive compulsive nature kicks in again June 1st.
The next wave.❤️🤠
Haha yes. I’ve booked the day off and will be going to the store!! So excited

I can totally recommend the divination book. I’ve created a moc with for my Hogwarts and it’s such a nice detailed figure too.

Sounds like you need to find yourself a carpenter who build you a big movable multi-shelf storage crate 😁
Great haul Johanna nice sets you bought have a great weekend
Life is too short to feel guilty over things you love. I'm so glad you got this set, now have fun!

It would have been rude not to buy that ninjago set at that price 😆
Just started picking up investment sets as well.
That ninjago is getting opened. I give you 3 months max.
To be honest. I think you may be into something here. 😂😂
moc the ninjago set, go for it.
Build the ninjago🎉
At that price I might have been tempted myself, even though I’m not into Ninjago.

That was a no brainer purchase. I would have done the exact same. I’m more curious as to why this amazing set on clearance?!?! Haha
Yea I wondered the same. they admittedly had lots so maybe they were just clearing space?

Gouda does have a good lego store.
😱 you bought a second ninjago city gardens…?
Who does that? Nobody needs 2 😂
Nobody NEEDS one.
@@herowither12354 oh, i disagree 😂 3 would be a good number to own though!

@@lauradegenhardt3148 OK -- Jangbricks did say it was very reasonably priced (even right from the start).
