A loose connection heats up the charging port and an unstable connection leads to the formation of something called dendrites in the battery. To check if a cable has loosened, use an app called ampere and compare the charging speeds with a new cable. Make sure the cable supports upto 2.1 Amps or warp charging speeds if using brands like oneplus.

Never taken any of these precautions, like ever and never had a problem with any of my iPhones. My 6 year old iPhone that I stopped using a while ago still has decent battery life. And I use my cell phone a TON!

*In case of Androids:* Phones come with "only charge" default option when you connect to usb. Data theft unlikely The usb in cars don't damage phones as most phones are backwards compatible with slower chargers.

After this video I can say I'm a really intelligent cuz I always charge my phone around 49% to 55% and don't let it charge full and let it be around 90%....duh!!😌 Well others advice too
The thing is, most of the time, by the end of the day, I end up with less than 20% charge, so by the time I need to charge it, I either have to do nothing and leave my phobe at 20%, which makes me only have a little bit of time on it, or go an overnighter. Also, when I charge my phone with my laptop it's useless.
