For example, it says to keep your phone between 40-80% but it also recommends waiting until your phone is at 10% to charge it. Another trick I have found to extend the life of your phone is to never charge the phone while it is ON... Charging a phone while it is ON causes it to heat up pretty quick. It is even WORSE if you are playing games or doing heavy processing with your phone. The phone heats up to very hot levels and heat causes expansion and contraction of silicon cells within the chipsets in the device. If you have ever overclocked a GPU on a PC and went too far you will know what I am talking about. The expansion/contraction caused by the heat causes the information stream to be "fragmented" which, in a GPU's case, will cause "artifacts" on the display device you are using. Artifacts can be things like clear triangles, page tearing or seeing through objects that should be displayed solid... I also always make sure to shut my phone COMPLETELY off for at the bare minimum 3 hours everyday(which is when I charge). Doing this has kept ALL my phones, even going back to 2010, extremely snappy like the first day they were bought. Also, Lithium Ion batteries need time for the cells to "rest" to keep functioning reliably. @@md3869 First of all, I would let the battery drop to about 7-10% capacity before charging. Secondly, you ALWAYS want to use the charger that came with your phone. Not only does the wattage need to match but the amperage needs to match. For example... My Note 9 has a 9v @1.67amp output so if I were to get a charger that was say 9v @1.2amps then what would happen is the phone would try to pull 470 milliamps more than the charger can handle which will cause the charger to get hot and catch fire. The thing clogging phones isn't "data", it is the plethora of junk apps that phone manufacturers load up and make "non-removable". A better policy would be to design such apps to have a "shelf-life",If after which they could be removed. If I have used a phone for a year, and not used the app, figure that I either don't need the capacity the app offers, or have a different app that I prefer to use the same function.
The cheap charger thing is very true. I know a nurse in one of the hospitals bought a cheap one off ebay and it exploded. She ended up sustaining some bad burns as well
When you charge and the battery reaches 100%, the phone is made to automatically make the charging stop. That's why when people charge their phones overnight, their phones aren't hot like lava.
Think of it like this, if one were to sit all day on a chair doing nothing at all, certain amount of energy from your body would be lost, right? Similarly, the shelf life of phones will drop if bought after a year or 2. The battery won’t hold its capacity for long.
Avoid high tempreture and low tempreture, then what is the ideal temperature? I LIVE IN THE EQUATOR SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? On my air-condition to 20°C? (68°F)
Little can you do, the phone need (any) cool exterior to remove internal heat, but how fast it remove internal heat depend on manufacturer, the inside can be very hot: 60-90 degree Celsius than outside. If the WHOLE phone is hot then you must turn it off immediately! because that is sign that it couldn't cool down no matter what the outside temperature is.
I keep my phone brightness down to conserve battery life, I hand my phone to my friends to show them something they say “Why is you screen so dark?” I look at it, it’s perfectly fine in brightness you can see it clearly. While I look at there phones there brightness is basically at max I think 🙄
Actually, it's been proven and both Apple and Samsung have admitted that they both do purposefully try to slow down older models through software updates to get customers to buy newer products. Although Apple does do it way more often then Samsung does by a long shot.
Thanks for the info - for future reference I've found out that clearing data/force stopping and uninstalling then RESTARTING fixes loads of problems - when my SWYPE got drastically slow I did the aforementioned with my phone - WORKED LIKE MAGIC~!!!!
Thx for the tips, lot of good stuff in there, confused about the updates though, not update to latest firmware and software, like andoid updates ? and what about when the apps want update ?
I always panic when my phone hits 70%. It's the lowest charge it can get for my phone. Then i'll charge it until it's full, and recharge when it gets 70 again
usually older devices that still receive updates like my galaxy note 4.It's on the latest version marshmallow and the battery is terrible and if you look at the stats from kitkat they are way better. Samsung deliberately destroyed the batteries by software upgrades
yeah i agree a little bit from you.......it does slows down the handset after the phone has been updated.....that lasts for1 to 3 days, because the software takes time to get full control of handset and retrives the lost data encountered during the update.
Norma on android that’s true but with iOS the more updates the slower your phone gets that’s why I stopped updating both my iPhones completely over a year ago.

Is this really true though (legit question, i dont know)? This is an old "worry" that I remember people 1st talking about around 2004ish when mobile phones really became affordable to most people (atleast in UK. They were probably affordable in USA years earlier because somehow they pay less than us for everything!), but aren't radio waves passing through our bodies (and our hearts of gold!) literally all day everyday? I heard we are swamped in radio waves, that they're pretty much everywhere, so it makes it seem like we'll be absorbing reflected waves whether we have our phone with us or not. Back in UK when this subject was causing worry, it was people saying "dont use a mobile at all, when you put it to your ear, your brain is being microwaved". I always suspected (hoped) that was just an "old wives tale" but if it was true then theres nothing we couldve done about it anyway because even back then, most people had phones (Ye Olde Nokia!), and even if they didnt have phones, radio waves were still apparently all around us (radio towers, satellites, aerials, walkie talkies, microwaves etc, all producing radio waves that bounce all over the world. I just checked cos I had to find out lol but apparently these waves are literally everywhere, even in the most remote, isolated and unpopulated places on Earth! They may even be bouncing around inside caves! This stuff better not be hurting us man, I swear!! :O

a really great tip from a mate that works for apple he said the higher the voltage going in can lenghten your devices life by 10 years i had mine charging of a 415 volt 3 phase power now a lot of people would think i was crazy but the high power alows for longer battery life over 10 years and you can get 20 years out of your phone battery just by connectin to the high power and unlike the 240v the 415 three phase can charge the battery from 0% to 100% in 5 minutes instead of hours so look into getting a high power fitted

Thank You! My phone is rapidly charging. This is very useful and will be used daily.
Bright Side: Do not charge while Thunderstorm!
Me Using a Powerbank: *Why tho?*
It says to keep your phone between 40-80% but then says to charge it when it reaches 10-20%
Facts
I didn’t understand
Should I charge my phone 💯 every time or only once in three months ?
Or daily up to 80% and once in 3 months 💯????
It will take longer to get to that point
I keep my phone brightness down to conserve battery life, I hand my phone to my friends to show them something they say “Why is you screen so dark?” I look at it, it’s perfectly fine in brightness you can see it clearly. While I look at there phones there brightness is basically at max I think 🙄
Mistake number 16: Watching this video.
hahahah
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Watching while charging my phone with a cheap charger while its in 1%

I always panic when my phone hits 70%. It's the lowest charge it can get for my phone. Then i'll charge it until it's full, and recharge when it gets 70 again

„Don’t longer charge if full“
I have 1 more tip don't use live wallpaper
Why
"Dont use your phone while charging"
Me watching this video while charging: oh
Softwere updates actually make your phone faster and better, not slow it down.
usually older devices that still receive updates like my galaxy note 4.It's on the latest version marshmallow and the battery is terrible and if you look at the stats from kitkat they are way better.
Samsung deliberately destroyed the batteries by software upgrades
*cough* iPhones *cough*
I do it
yeah i agree a little bit from you.......it does slows down the handset after the phone has been updated.....that lasts for1 to 3 days, because the software takes time to get full control of handset and retrives the lost data encountered during the update.
Norma on android that’s true but with iOS the more updates the slower your phone gets that’s why I stopped updating both my iPhones completely over a year ago.

Dont put ur phone on chest pocket...the radiation is harmful for your cute heart 💓
@@ncshuriken 1000000s of research papers have shown this already and the expt is performed first on rats and then the results were shockingly unbelievable! They lost their ability to reproduce!!

a really great tip from a mate that works for apple he said the higher the voltage going in can lenghten your devices life by 10 years i had mine charging of a 415 volt 3 phase power now a lot of people would think i was crazy but the high power alows for longer battery life over 10 years and you can get 20 years out of your phone battery just by connectin to the high power and unlike the 240v the 415 three phase can charge the battery from 0% to 100% in 5 minutes instead of hours so look into getting a high power fitted
Today i know if my phone explodes the whole world does too.
Thank you 👍
Mistake no.2:
Dont play flappy bird!
