Jimmy, this is the first hearing about you. You were so great on this song. I am a big fan of Irene Cara and I am sure she loved this rendition of her song,
Hi, jimmy Is there a karaoke of this version. I cant stop not listening everyday. Paul jacksons guitar work is amazing. The whole arrangement is a masterpiece. Again , thank you and my wish is to see you sing this live.
Hello junior junior. Thank you for your kind words. My guess would be there is not a karaoke version of this rendition but possibly of the original? God Bless. 🙏

Hello Eric. I’m still singing. My focus right now is on my entertainment company I started with my Wife called, “AMP DJ/BAND HYBRID”. We perform at weddings and corporate events. Thank you for taking the time to listen to my music. I appreciate it. 🙏
Jimmy, you are one lucky guy. I'm writing a book about Irene and her life. Would you like for me to include your collaboration together with Irene in my book? So far I know in 1985 she sang Breakdance on Feb. 15, 1985 on SOLID GOLD and even did the Moonwalk on stage for the first time, had a movie called Certain Fury come out on March 1, 1985, a White House dinner on March 19, 1985, sang Here's To The Losers on March 25, 1985 at the Oscars and then was forced to tour in Japan by April 4, 1985 because her lawsuit prevented her from performing in the United States. Do you know the exact date (more or less) of this recording in 1985?
@@jimmysalvemini Yes, I did some further research and that seems correct since the album came out in early 1986. I just found out that she must have came back from Japan on April 9, 1985 and recorded Cantare, cantaras with many Latin American Artists for a benefit song for Latin America in Los Angeles, CA. It was inspired by We Are The World (they even used the same studio to record it). I was able to see a clip of her in the studio singing with opera singer Placido Domingo. Her cause of death was only revealed just yesterday. According to the Daily Beast it was hypertension and high cholesterol or arteriosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease. I hope my book is able to give her fans a way of remembering how talented she was and truly missed.
@@starexplorers1202 she deserves your dodication to write her life story. Sad shes gone. This song is my fav and this version is done so beautifully, no wonder since it was produced by the great luther vandross with miller and jackson doing session work. I cant stop not listening to it everyday.
@@juniorjunior4087 Thank you junior junior. I will do my best. It will read like a visual diary of her life where she points out what events or moments of her life were the most memorable. Irene commented on RUclips videos from time to time and that will be included in the book. Right now I am up to 1985 and was able to get a copy of her tourbook from Japan. 🎤🎶🎶

It could have been the summer or fall of 1985.
