Honorable mention is Wraith. That mana drain can really stop your farming in early game. They are very annoying.
True, I usually try to fight them on side heroes whenever possible.
I once attacked the enemy heroes multiple times with new heroes with 7 wraith stacks until the computer depleted his mana. After that, I completely destroyed him with my main hero with zero losses.
I don't know much about the RUclips algorithm but top 10 most annoying imo would fit the video better. As worst can mean bad as less powerful.
Harpy hags are like mid-range shooters except that you can't block them from shooting, that's how I always looked at them.
They're definitely annoying to fight if you don't have something that outspeeds them.
great vid - I would give cyclopses to the list - nothing is bigger fun than having 97 cyclopses as a block :P
I was thinking about it, but they don't really have any crazy abilities so decided to not include them.
Their low AI value is the ting that is so annoying about Cyclops, they almost have as much AI value as Trolls.
great explanation, thanks! keep it going!
Thank you :)
Was thinking about what you said about the magic elementals, imagine if they could get morale lol
Yeah that would be awful!
Fun to see the genie on this list. In homm2 they would be on the top of the list, they could randomly kill half a stack.
Yeah that's a crazy ability, esp since a 1 stack can do it.
And the Phoenix, the high speed extremly op, they are always the first to move, and would need another phoenix to maybe move first.
Yeah definitely an honorable mention.
and they get back up after you kill a stack of them, so you just have to take the extra rounds to finish them.
@@arnigeir1597 or as a castle, most of your marksman are gone sadly
Good list. What about Azure dragons? I'm playing G map HOTA Element Land and Gem has 620 Azures and I cant find a way to use a strategy as of yet.
usually you don't face azures on jebus cross so, or many other pvp templates so I decided to only include units that are most relevant to online play
Thank you for making this video, it was really interesting! Do you have favourite campaign?
I only played two campaigns a long time ago. But I did like the Armageddon's Blade.
Imo Arch devils. So fast, no retaliation, & when they're in many stacks they will just teleport to my troops instantly, & cause annoying casualties. Phoenixes are only annoying, when a player has em, & gets to cast first. Devils are annoying by default. Nix are annoying aswell, but they're so slow, it leaves the possibility for blocking em with force-field etc.
Yeah, Arch devils definitely are, they are at the top of my "Worst Breaks" tier list. I don't remember why I didn't add them to this list, I think it may have been because I didn't want to focus only on Tier 7 creatures, but add more other random creatures like Harpy Hags, that are also really annoying to fight.
I'd place black and gold dragons there, tons of damage in the face with very few ways to clearing them without some looses.
Fair point, thanks for sharing! I personally don't feel like they are that bad though, because their value is high so the numbers that you face will be low. I'd actually rather face a gold/black dragon break than red/green in most cases, because their numbers will be much lower.
@@alex_the_magician9483 That's a valid point, I think it comes down to what you have in your toolkit, speed 11 and immune to slow can be just as bad.
Here is a short but painful story about why I hate Efreet Sultans. Once I was playing Titans, everything went well, Efreet Sultan road block, and Efreet Sultans started the turn and attacked my Titans, my Titans retailate and I lost one to the Fire Shield, and I couldn't even do anything because my Titan's retalation off all the Sultans.
yep they can be painful
Nice! Where do you find all the visuals for the creatures? Is there a website or something?
Probably H3 wiki :) They have it all there

You can find it here too:

@@ZZPuma Cool, thx for that!
Thanks everyone!
No Mighty Gorgons? I hate it when my tank units drop like flies by the death stare.
Yeah they can be annoying, but they're not too fast so usually you can kite them/take retal safely, unless of course they morale
Give us a date 4 the cooking stream!
Will do as soon as I decide on it. Probably May 30th or 31st.
nice video again :-)
thanks :)
I never saw enchanters doing anything aside from casting buffs on each other until I kill them.
Enchanter are probably the worst unit in the game. They dont do anything when I fight them.
Nah, they are pretty annoying to fight speed 9 ranged with no melee penalty and if they haste or slow it could be really annoying, I remember once I had an army of like 30 wyvern, and I couldn't do an enchanter break because they hasted themselves and got 2 rounds of straight arrow attacks before i could do anything.

Were they changed for Hota ?
I had expected a list of the weakest units in Heroes 3. For that list, I would question anyone who wouldn't put the Walking Dead in it.
some of these are in the top 10 best units. Aren't the rest available for this list, or is there a strategy to fight them?
Well what makes a unit good is a little different than what makes it a pain to face. Some in the top 10 best units are easy to counter like mighty gorgons and behemoths are not that bad to fight if you have mass slow and a good ranged power stack for example. While efreet sultans are really annoying to face because of their fire shield, but I don't feel like the units itself is good enough to be in the top 10. Also I included neutrals in this list as you will be facing them often, whereas you won't usually get to have them in your army so I didn't include them in the best units list.
When will the cooking stream start?
Last week of May. Will announce the exact date when I play for it specifically.
Aha! You can use expert protection from fire on your units against efreets sultans! It is not useless after all!
True, versus sultans it's pretty good.
Side question. Does cryillic vary by country or is it universal? Thanks
@@Jjohnny642 The core alphabet is mostly the same as far as I know, but there are differences. I used to think Russian and Ukrainian were very similar, but when I came back to Ukraine after 12 years in the US I could still speak Russian, but Ukrainian was hard for me to even understand as I hadn't used it for 12 years.
@@alex_the_magician9483 I see. Thank you for that little information dump. Should have guessed you were Slavic based on your Heroes 3 skills
Dragonflies?
Yeah they can be annoying too, but not bad enough to make this list I think.
oke!!!
I hate sprites, medusas and silver pepegas
Indeed, those can also be annoying.
totally wrong list, you didn't take AI value into consideration.. and also you think everybody is bad player.. Fearies, harpies, shapshooters, genies... those are no problem for experienced players.. and you forgot lizard warriors, so many good players sudokued on them.. and lately experimental shop abuse is fixed.. come on man, keep up.
Not sure if you're trolling or having a bad day, or just don't know how to express your opinion properly. Either way I can't take this comment seriously.
@@alex_the_magician9483 the second one. but my comments are still valid (my motto is honesty > political correctness). no experienced player attacks sharpshooters without tactics, or fearies without anti-magic or ability to tank enough (yes I know Toganash case and it is a big thing because it is so rare..) I never lost a game because of genies or harpies.. the real problem is always about unpredictability ( lizard warriors & enchanters) or lack of easy solution ( efreet sultans, cyclops, titans ). My point is if you attack the Sea Dogs with two Angels, it doesn't make them annoying units, it makes you a bad player. Sorry if this is too honest.. The summary is, if a unit is still annoying for Dave, you can put it here..
@@kaandervis6276 Well I'm sorry about whatever it is that's making you act this way, but if you want your opinion to be considered seriously you should present it in a less forceful manner.
It's fine to disagree, but present your point of view by saying something like "I think this is incorrect" or "In my opinion I would change this", etc. Otherwise when you just say things like "You're wrong" or "If you do this you're a bad player" just because you disagree, you just sound like an opinionated ass and the value of your point of view automatically diminishes. This isn't about political correctness, it's about not being a dick to others and treating them like you want to be treated - do you really want others to just say things like oh you're just bad, or oh this is wrong the second they disagree with something you say or do?
Secondly, I think your arguments fall apart. I mean if your argument is that "you just need to wait until you have the right tools to fight them" then why can't the same logic apply to the creatures you've mentioned? Efreet sultans can be countered with a ranged power stack + mass slow, or resurrect. Cyclopes can be countered with mass forgetfulness. Lizard warriors (which are a part of the list btw, where I put sharpshooters I mention that it's all early game ranged blocks), if you know their value is low and you face a horde of them, then expect large numbers and don't fight them if you can't. But I think you know yourself that you don't always have the time or the luxury to wait until you can comfortably do these fights, sometimes all your objectives have bad guards and you don't have a choice, sometimes your biome is poor, sometimes you get unlucky with mage guild, etc. Like take faerie dragons - you won't get anti magic very often before facing them, and even if you do, you are unlikely to get the first move as they are speed 15, so you will still have to tank the first round of spells from them at least. Compare that to something like regular nagas, that you can kill without even having mass slow and still lose nothing - that's the entire point of this video. I'm not saying any of these are impossible, I'm saying they are difficult to deal with and you need the right tools to do it unless you want to suffer heavy losses.
@@alex_the_magician9483 yeah I think you are right about my approach, you are not the reason of me having a shitty day/life so I don't have any right to treat you like this. Sorry about that. And about the discussion, you have some fair arguments there but the main point still stands: I think this list should be the list of most sudokued creatures by a good player, this is the definition of annoying for me. Because when you clearly measure the threat and act like that, it is not very annoying, just delaying your tempo. For me annoying is when you think you can win the fight but surprised by the power/attributes of the creature. Because next game you will become too afraid and than lose tempo against those, making the optimization more difficult. I hope my idea is clear now, thanks for your answer, have a good day.
@@kaandervis6276 Well I hope you work out whatever it is. I do appreciate the apology.
Yeah I see your points, but "most sudokued on by a good player" isn't my definition. My definition is basically "what gives you problems in combat".
