For those of you wondering why certain countries were left out of this video, let me clear it up 😁Greece IS a Balkan country however Greek is not technically considered a Balkan language (I actually put up a vote on my Instagram page to get your opinion as well) Greece will be featured in the next Balkan video however. Slovenia is a country that is arguably Balkan - some say it is but many point to it being very culturally different than the rest of the Balkans. As for Turkey, only a part of it is Balkan so it was safer to leave it out. And as for Montenegro - would have loved to have it featured but keep in mind it's a country with a small population hard to find outside of the country.
And I was aware I was going to get complaints no matter which route I took but such is the nature of the RUclips commenting world 😂

For me Romanian and Serbian sound the best. By the way, where are the Greek and Slovenian?
Maybe they put Slovenia in Central Europe and Greece in a Southern Mediterranean region
@@karleduard7725 All Greece is in the Balkan, not putting Greece is like not putting France in Western Europe. They put Romania which have small part on the Balkan so why not put Slovenia which also have small part on the Balkan. Countries that are fully on th Balkan are Greece, Montenegro, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Albania and North Macedona. Serbia and Croatia have North parts in Central Europe (Vojvodina and Slavonia) and the rest is in the Balkan. Romania and Slovenia have parts of their terrotory on the Balkan.
@XXX I am speaking about geography. Slovenes are South Slavs and genetic tests show that they aren't any different than Serbs and Croats. Greeks are closest to Serbs out of South Slavs (best friends, long history together, lot cultural similarity, same religion).
@XXX you obviously don't know about historical and political relations between balkan countries if you think Bulgaria is closer to Greece than Serbia, Greece and Serbia have close bilateral friendship that dates back ages ago, since 7th century, Greece was the only country in NATO during Yugoslav Wars which completely refused to assist in bombing or damaging Serbia, furthermore there were Greek volunteers during the war on Serbian side, Greeks don't go to Bulgaria or any other balkan country significantly, it's the other way around, and by that, more Serbs go to Greece procentually than Bulgarians, and Greece is the 1st destination for Serbian tourists, Greeks in places like Lefkada and Leptokaria speak Serbian because of Tourists, secondly, saying that Serbs have no cultural relations with Greeks is very wrong, we both share common faith, common values, common balkan food, common mentality, common history especially, and first Serbs literally firstly settled in Greece, place today called Kastoria in central Greece, Greeks and Italians have as much in common as Greeks and Serbs, just in different ways
@XXX I can't believe what nonsense you just wrote. There is a lot of people in Serbia with blue eyes. You don't have idea about our countries. You have genetic tests done, South Slavs have same blood, but yes according to genetic tests Hungary, Romania and Austria have almost identicall blood with South Slavs. I saw a lot Slovenes, Croats and Serbs and there is none differece between them, there is no way you can tell who is who. Greece is in no way closer to Bulgaria. Greece best friend is Serbia and vice versa.
Romania's got that unique Latin - Slavic mix 😉
Romanian is ethnic nothing to do with slavic, is more like Albanian similarity rather than slavic, slavic isnt ethnic in balkans

@lagjes cuni2 What roots?
What it has to do with ethnicity? I would be surprised if Romaniens didn't have any genetic connection to Slavs, but this Is LANGUAGE, why u brouth ethnicity? @@bruceefta Thanks for the answer, from what I've seen it's crazy how many turkish people have balcan ancestry. I've heard many balkan and slavic muslims migrated to Turkey after facing discrimination but I feel like both sides just want peace now. Those migrants kept their cultural identity like names (Alya, Sibel, Dua, etc) clothes or even ceremonies like dancing styles during weddings. It goes to show how diverse the middle east is.
BOSNIA IS ALBANIA
@@disco_depression as a Bosnian I felt obligated to answer. Yes some Bosnians are not religious mostly a mentality/ex-Yugoslavia thing but a very large portion is religious to a certain extent. some go the full length with religion and some just do the basics and then the non-religious are either atheist or just don't care. like 90 percent of Bosnian Muslims drink alcohol and smoke anyway so that could be a reason as to why. I myself am not super religious but I respect my beliefs and love my Muslim brothers and sisters yet I stick with the Slavic culture since it is in my blood. but for the most part yes decently religious.

Pointless to have SRB,CRO and BIH in the same video. Pretty much same language with different dialect. People usually have hard time to guess Russian from south Slavic languages, let alone CRO/SRB/BIH.
But it's the dialect and pronounciation that makes difference between "sexy" and "not sexy languages" for example even with the same lagnuage (for example kajkavski dialect(slavonija) and čakavski dialect (dalmatia) can be TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Or even if they aren't from the same town it can make a difference etc.
not gonna lie them singing Dragonstea din tei made my life 👌
😍

Whenever there's a video about the Balkans, it's sure to stir up a hornets nest... No matter the topic... And everyone commenting here is a linguistic expert...
I think, all the Balkan people will learn how to speak English and speak their own language at any time they want. 😀
That’s it, I’m going to Romania.
We welcome on you! Whare are u from?🥰😂
you shoulddd🥰 it's beautiful
Damn, i really like these kind of Videos. And maybe it has somethin to do with that I am from Macedonia xD
But you got a sub for that video.
Omg that guy from Croatia/Bosnia is a pure king, a real representation of a Balkan guy🙌🏼🤴🏻

When you guys figure out what country's are in the Balkans it would be nice, I don't know about Balkan languages like Romanian and Albanian but I do know that Greek language has been in the Balkans for thousands of years and way before the Balkan languages.
I already died at the "Dragostea din tei" part and couldn't stop laughing till the end of the video, so funny 😁 But tbh, I think Romanian and Croatian are very nice languages 👍
Bahador's channel made those Canadians popular lol
I'm from Serbia, but for me, the sexiest Balkan language is Romanian. It is kind of... exotic. It is a Romance language after all - romance :D
❤️🇷🇸😍🇷🇴
Volim ovaj video🤣❤
I love this omg😂
Gay Asian here. I really love the vibe of the Serbian girl (Mila) and Macedonian girl (Katerina). They can make me straight or bi any day. Hahahahaha
LMAO
The coolest languages to me are Italian, Romanian, and French. I do dig lots of others as well like Portuguese and Russian, but the my main 3 are those above.

Здравейте от България! 🇧🇬🤍💚❤
Bulgarian needed more lines
Greece didn’t have any so u should be grateful
@@zoumpourloudiko4467 it didn't have any because it is not similar to the balkan languages
Romanian here ours is of course the most different language for the Latin mix but so crazy we look so much alike all this part of Europe guess that Daco Thracian blood runs through all of us
Plzzzzzz do a South Asia version.
I think they should say / read similar things for say 5 - 10 seconds to make the comparison more consistent
Why is everyone here so much more intelligent than like so many other "Guess My Language" videos. Like they actually all knew some Balkan countries and corrected themselves when saying countries that weren't In the Balkans. I feel like if it were a BuzzFeed video they'd ask "Do you know any Balkan countries?" and the answers would be like "ummm..Ireland?...maybe Russia?"
The Bulgarian is the most beautiful and sexiest language in the world and you should have some more things with it 😉 btw I like you're video its gonna learn many peoples that we are not only immigrants that takes your job in a different direction and location all around the world 🙏 thanks 😊

I guess Montenegro, Turkey, Slovenia and Greece belong to another group of Europe. 😆 Or maybe in part 2?🤩
Btw, Bulgarian or Romanian was the sexiest for me .
I hope there will be a part 2, because the Balkans isn't only that!!
She can't include every single language of the region guys just like she always does with this series' videos.
@@kylesavage4525 I think she could add 4 more. I mean the "Balkans" isn't just these countries. It's misinformation, literally.
@Stephan Law to be fair there's less countries in Scandinavia so she was able to include them all
Turkey is not Balkans!
my grandfather moved from serbia to australia so i have some serbian in me but i've never actually heard the language be spoken (he never spoke it around me, not sure if he speaks it at all anymore) and i gotta say i think it's the best sounding one, i swear i'm not being biased lmfaooo.
