- I like John Boyega. I liked Finn & The Force Awakens (at the time) BUT.... I can't help but melt down when talking about the sequel trilogy.... so this video turns into a bit of a rant.
I just feel they could've been so much more and we'll just leave it at that folks.

The way I see it is that killing our child hood heroes of Luke, Han and Leia was the dumbest idea in the whole ST!

I can't stand the new trilogy I must admit. I wouldn't pay money to buy these range of figures from this trilogy. Fair play to you though. I feel jealous that your buying the figure of Finn feeling jealous of the people liking the trilogy, lol
I freakin' loved this video. Not that I want you to feel pain, but how you expressed it. I must ask...if Disney called tomorrow and said, "Hey OOK, we are going to make a fan cut of the sequel trilogy. Pitch your idea." What is it? Could be a great video - using figures?
Yes Nick i think the dead of Luke was also a disepointing for me and a bad idea from Rian Johnson. He didnt have to Die.
I have my own head canon for the sequels, that's the only way I can justify them on the shelf.

I agree, especially the last jedi, was just a waste of Mark hamill time, and every Canto Bight scene is painful, and it just not enjoyable 😃👍.

Yeah I have that one but not in vintage but the black and red of 3.75 but it's the same thing it's just different box
The thing that kinda saddens me even more than the movies sucking is that if they just had a better attitude, it wouldn't be too late. They can be salvaged and at least made better, if not as good as they should've been, with a clone wars-type show to smooth over the terrible lore inconsistencies and characterizations. But they seem to be giving up on the sequel trilogy, mostly - trying to improve it only by explaining Palpatine in older eras, not willing to touch the actual period of time itself. If that new Rey movie is even still happening, I hope it's tied close enough to the sequels to do some repair work haha

I know Rise of Skywalker is considered the worst but I feel like a Finn from that movie would sell better than a figure that came out over 8 years ago on a card back. Idk that’s just me. I wouldn’t mind having a Finn from Rise of Skywalker.
Hey obi can I tell you what I want for vintage collection same goes with you ready I want to complete all the inquisitors there's only two I want the most is the second sister and the 9th sister inquisitors I'm very shocked we don't have these characters same goes with the ahsoka show marrok that guy since we got him in retro I'm very shocked we don't have that guy yet same goes with the other inquisitors and vintage collection

@@OnlyOneKenobi At the time of the sequels I wasn't into Star Wars (the prequels had tarnished my love of the franchise - in retrospect they have improved over time!), I heard they were crap so I just carried on living my life :) - but I did get the DK Visual Guide to the Last Jedi at some point and thought the imagery, costume design, aliens and world building were stunning (Knights of Ren, Sith Troopers etc) - I did eventually watch them out of morbid curiosity once I decided to start collecting figures again. Just sad the actual plots and story decisions were terrible!!
PS I heard as rumour George was coming back - not sure it will be a directorial role, but maybe even as a consultant might help the next phase of movies ?? Not sure anything good will come out while KK is still in the drivers seat though!! :(
I actually found the Black Series 3.75in figure for like $2.50 and I got him holding both the blaster and an extra Rey lightsaber I had lying around.
Snow is white, so I don't think the gray shoes and the gray on the bottom of Finn's pants is supposed to be snow. I think Hasbro just used gray paint to dull down the shoes, like in the movie, except the movie depicted the shoes being dirty and dusty from sand (accomplishing the goal of dulling down Finn's shoes, which was the whole point, so they didn't stand out against his black pants like white leather sneakers or something). The TVC version correctly has a tan color paint used for the dulling effect.
So basically, after reading this comment earlier today, I had the Arnold Rimmer song stuck in my head all morning!!! Haha 😆👌🏼💙
I like the Sequel Trilogy and revisit it often.
I think I'd enjoy it... if it had nothing to do with the Skywalker saga! 😏👍🏻

OOK! Fired up today. With you on the sequels. Don’t hate them but Luke Skywalker? What!? Also Finn: they totally dropped the ball on that one. Pretty nice figure, though old. Decent cardback.
Yes there are flaws, and yes the biggest is so much missed opportunities, but there's something I still really like about the ST.

I admit I agree on your point the Sequel trilogy was a mess. I love to this day The Force Awakens, it’s more preferred to me. But Hasbro should have gone for Finn in his First Order Stormtrooper figure. In my opinion. I want to finish up the first order/final order set, it would’ve been great but oh well… la vida…

Just shows their desire to do so just wasn't there... which is a shame coz Finn looking like that was everyone's favourite (certainly at the time anyway)
This is the only figure they made of this character and yea I don't understand why hasblow does what they do when they release these figures ...I agree he should have Been released with the first or second wave ...
No it's not man.... they made tonnes of different Fins.... granted they were same outfit (except Storntrooper one) but they were variables.🤔

if only we had a Terminator to send back in time to prevent the sequel trilogy from ever happening and also, I hate that hasbro chose to re release a horrible figure from a trilogy that most people hate and that spot could've been given to characters we want made the most like a newly sculpted Phase 2 Cody, Satele Shan, Asajj Ventress, rest of the Bad Batch, newly sculpted Force unleashed 1 Galen Marek/Starkiller, and many more characters that fans want made the most.
I seriously have a theory that Hasbro would've recalled all the peg warning Finns out in the wild and just repackaged them for TVC! 🙃
Yeah not a massive fan of the story or how some characters just disappeared (Finn especially)..but alot of the characters and vehicles and surroundings looked brilliant..which is why i still have all of them..some of those 5POA aliens from TFA are so well detailed..and yeah its not going anywhere..cheers Nick 🍺🍺🍻
