@EricBurdon-e1u I was born in Sicily in 1958, my dad was a pretty good Football Player when he was a young lad, at 17 he travelled to the UK and worked as manual labour in Luton where he tried to be part of the Luton FC Club, but back then with little knowledge of the English language and needing money to send back home to grandma ( he lost his father at 16) he kept working and after 3 years moved back to Sicily. He was a self-taught musician, had a decent raspy voice and played the guitar and accordion, he brought this single from the UK, "It's My Life" and I recall hearing that song over and over & over lol, he was your numero uno fan from Sicily that's for sure. We moved to Canada in 67. I still have vivid memories of Dad buying me LP Burdon &The Animals, and I was hooked
! I followed you through your musical journey with War and that's about it :) You have been part of our family since the early 60's. My only regret was never to have had the pleasure of seeing you live.
I heard this at beginning and end of a film, small town crime decent enough movie but this song got me.

Drummer is over playing , if you listen to the original version the percussion is laid back, and nothing to fancy, hes playing to loud like hes in a bar fight, to much cymbal work and it takes away from the song. And it takes away from Mr. Burdon this drummer belongs in a metal band
