I agree
How about rust?
@@Koss-channel I don’t see any knives available
That is one of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen. I'd buy that in a heart beat.
😂 Not id make that in a heart beat but instead I’d buy that in a heart beat.
I’m with Shawn. Making a knife in a heart beat is impossible. However I probably could buy one that fast
@@gotu7855 it’s a compliment. “I’d make that in a heartbeat” doesn’t speak to the quality of his work, but “I’d buy that” does lol
@@heyb6268 becoming inspired is a bigger compliment than purchasing, that’s my point. Lazy a** world we live in where ppl would rather purchase than strive for self.
You took the words from my thoughts.
I have so much respect for (the few) people that can take something simple or beat up, and make something. Not only functional and useful, but beautiful! Well done sir, hats off to you
This is my particular focus in art. It is, hands down, the most rewarding pursuit of my life
I appreciate it, it's so refreshing to see something like this amidst all the junk I have to sift through. But when I get to it it's worth it
Such a modern/timeless design,....most beautiful knife Ive ever seen.

@@Max-vv5pm and how would you know what knives he has seen? You can't decide other peoples opinions
@@Max-vv5pm Shut up.
Sir you are right I like this knife design ❤
One of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen in my life, good job!
Well done! The design is perfect and the lines are perfectly balance. The knife actually flows. Like many others, to have something like this in one’s collection would be truly wonderful. Look forward to seeing your other creations.
Yeah it's perfectly alligned to flow like normal ones by and even more good than real ones because of it's weight
@@rishikrishna8351👍
Perfect LOL yeah its perfectly designed to help you cut your own fingers... and why would he waste so much time at the start with that grinder instead of using the saw?

@@chrisrobinson679 just say somthing nice, or say nothing at all. This knife is beautiful.

And With a Name Like That, I BET He Cherishes Your Opinion. LOL!
What a beautiful knife design! Really impressive.
Вроде и всё просто в плане дизайна ,
но глаз отвести невозможно -
такая красота 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ! Брутальность и грациозность

Один вопрос Зачем?

Absolutely one of the most beautiful knives I’ve ever seen. I’d love one of these
You're not the only one that would love to have something that beautiful that's one nice
I love the part where it was heat treated. Yeah. This knife will break easily.
@@helium5912 did you notice how I said the most beautiful? Shockingly enough, some of the most beautiful things in the world weren't designed for construction sites. As a box cutter, letter opener, general household cutting, this is one of the most stunning knives ever. And literally nobody mentioned taking it into combat or cutting firewood with it.
@@helium5912 Even occurred to you that he might not be showing everything?
@@helium5912 at 8:48 I'm very sure that the contrast between the blade bevel and the rest of the knife's surface is showing it was heat treated.
Beautiful blade and design. its a work of art indeed!
perfeição total, parabéns.
You have NO IDEA how much i want that absolute stunning and beautiful knife you created.
I do too!
Incredibly satisfying watching how this was made. He has access to an astounding set of tools and equipment. The man is an artist.
That's an absolutely gorgeous knife!
Amazing knife! Truly spectacular craftsmanship.
Очень красивая вещь получилась🔥🔥🔥 великолепная работа мастера👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Man, that is SO PERFECT. I love everything about it. All it's missing is the full chisel grind. However, what really makes it is the geometry. The way the scales are ground to bevel with the blade geometry and flow into the handle couldn't be achieved with a chisel grind. You'd have one unsymmetrical side, so while it's not a true kiradashi, it's piece of art I'd love to have in my collection. 😍
That is such an otherworldly design. Absolutely stunning! Good job my dude.
It looks like it'd cut the user a lot...
kinda looks like half a batman blade
It's a Kiridashi as the title states.
I usually have a thing or two to say (to myself of course) about how people makes stuff , cause of personal taste of course (I'm not qualified to critique anyone's work), but i really have nothing to say about this knife and how you made it , this is perfect in every sense of the word from the design aspect to the execution!! thank you for sharing!!!
Absolutely spectacular!
Beautiful work and fascinating blade design!
the Japanese kiridashi is a beautiful knife and one of my favorites, and this is a piece of art. Incredibly well done 👏🏽
It's very cool, what are they used for?
@@raven_of_zoso455 craftsmanship mostly
@@ZX_Asura_ ok, understandable. But has this style of knifes no traditional uses beside that?
@@raven_of_zoso455 no, it was mainly used as a knife for craftsmen, wasn’t usually made this fancy more of a simple knife
@@ZX_Asura_ ah, thanks. Now I understand. Thanks for helping me clearing that up. Cheers.
Wow! Now THAT is absolutely gorgeous. Love how unique looking it is. What a beauty

One of the most beautiful kiridashis I've seen. Elegant design and gorgeous lines. Looking forward to buying one someday!
Absolutely stunning piece of functional art. I love great skill. Thank you for sharing.!
It's beautiful. I don't usually have fixed blades in my collection, but I would love to have that one just for the sheer enjoyment. Well done. 👏
That's not a knife, that's art.
Facts, cause that'd definitely slip in a fight lol. Beautiful razor blade tho
@@pootzmagootz If I recall correctly, the Kiridashi style of knife was meant more for a utility role anyways. It was never a fighting knife to begin with.
This is an exquisitely beautiful work of art. It saddens me to think I can not possess it for myself.
u deserve to be saddened!
@@JohanChristensen_ And I hope you can one day find happiness.

one of if not THE most beautiful knife I've ever seen. Well done!
Love the facets and the stabilized scales...very unique and beautiful to behold! Looks to be pretty heavy based on the O1 thickness but the facets would make it stable to hold and use. Great work, Koss! Thanks Much!
Thanks for the support

Great work! It looks brilliant 👍
Que faça linda! Gostaria muito de ter uma dessas! Parabéns
Absolutely beautiful. That is the work of a master. However, when he was pushing the wood through the band saw without a pusher stick, I had to cringe. On the first day of shop class in 8th grade, the shop teacher started by demonstrating a table saw. He was telling us about the possible dangers of using the saw, and to never push the wood through without a pusher stick. Then he proceeded to demonstrate why a pusher stick is so important. One the first cut he made ( no pusher stick), he cut his thumb right down the center to his joint. Messy as hell. And needless to say, shop class was cancelled. And he gave a great performance on why pusher sticks are so important. Never push wood through any type of cutting machine without a pusher stick.
Moral of the story: use a pusher stick
An experienced craftsman may just feel more comfortable using their hands. I'm sorry but your shop teacher sounds like a dipshit, safety is important but it's really not difficult to avoid sawing a piece of yourself off.
@@Michael-by5pg I learned to do that. The demonstration was very graphic.
@@Michael-by5pg more cushion for the pushing
wait if he said not to do it, how did it get him?
