    Ronnie on record said his inspiration and favorite was Jack Tatum (Oakland Raider)... Clearly he was the second coming of the greats during the the '80s like Kenny Easily, Scott Case, and Gary Fencick being in the the same class of punishers during the '80s

    Out of all the legendary defensive backs, Ronnie was the greatest. Not just as a player, but as a leader and a man. Best DB of all-time is consensus, but I also have him as equal 2nd best defender, alongside the Minister of Defense. LT first, obviously, totally unplayable.

    • @segueoyuri
      @segueoyuri 9 лет назад +2

      Dude, there's some differences. 1 - Tatum was unloyal to his fellow players. He hit to retire the guy, or kill, literally. Just a punk. Lott just went and played the game. 2 - Lott played CB, FS and SS. Tatum just played safety. 3 - Lott is on Hall of Fame, the other is not. 4 - Lott have won 4 SBs. Jack who? Get real

    • @segueoyuri
      @segueoyuri 9 лет назад +4

      Oh, by saying that 'Lott played 3 positions', I mean that he was the best of the league in 3 different positions. Not only at corner, but at corner, FS, and SS. All-Pro level.

    • @scottrackley4457
      @scottrackley4457 9 лет назад +1

      Branon Fontaine Dude, he said Tatum, not Lambert. Just FYI, Tatum played safety, both free and strong (usually strong) for the Raiders; Lambert played weak side middle linebacker for the Steelers. Tatum hit harder than either of them.
