- This 2019 BMW X6 side mirror was destroyed in a bad parking attempt. Don’t let these High end vehicles intimidate you! A car is a car is a car! As long as you have the right parts and the tools this repair is very easy. You can do this at home with a few simple tools. Don’t risk driving around with out your BMW side mirror! Fixing it is better than potentially crashing into someone!

Great video! I just replaced my mirror, to save someone some time, if you got skills and tools, you dont have to take the whole door panel , just unsnap that top corner by pulling it, then unsnap the top black plastic trim, and you will see three mirror bolts. Everything else is same as the video. If you not confident, then I recommend removing the door panel and moving slow. Again great video to make sure you dont break anything, can be done faster but risk involved 👍👍👍

Hello, may I know if the side camera can operate normally after installation, or do I need to do any coding setting for the side camera?
Hey mate i know im late but for some reason my x6 mirrors wont tilt move or close any idea maybe its a fuse or something? Or is there any cheap solution rather than going and buying new mirrors straight away

Yes, you definitely need to take the entire panel off. There might be away around it but I didn’t see a way to do it with out breaking something.

The parts were purchased directly from the local BMW dealership. So very expensive.
Homey got ripped off for that mirror. I just got one for 200. Gonna use your video to figure out how to put it on.

I just installed one I bought for 100 on eBay for a 535i the holes weren’t threaded either

You made far more work for yourself than necessary. All you had to do was pull the top of the door trim back and unsnap the speaker to reveal the bolts for the mirror 😂
I politely disagree, I don’t think you can pull the top of the door trim back with out damaging it. The mirror bolts are hidden behind the long plastic trim housing the speaker.
