8 Things I Wish I Knew Before Buying My Roland FP 10 Digital Piano

- In this video, I talk to you about some of the things that I wish that I knew before I got my newest piece of musical equipment. I recently got a Roland digital piano and I absolutely love it in so many ways, but there are some things that i wish that I knew about it before I ended up getting it. For the most part, these are all positive things that I wish that i had done my proper research on before, but I figured that I would make this video outlining each of them because you can take them into consideration if you are thinking about getting a digital piano like this. These electronic pianos are amazing in so many ways, and I am super happy with mine, but I figured that I would make this piece of content to talk about these things so that you can keep them in mind if you are in the market for getting the same piano as me or something that is very similar to the one that I have gotten.

It would have been handy if you said the bad things about the piano. For persuasive stuff we have the marketing itself.
😂😂😂
tbf if you comb reddit most people.only have great things to say about the fp10. the only big con is the keys may click eventually after a few years so make sure to get that warranty.
@@wilhelmpaulm thank you! I already have it and it's amazing. Probably the clever thing is to cover it right, while you are not using it, so it doesn't get dust inside.
@@nathalie.astrada the dust is what makes the click sounds?
@@Nada-qn2rg I don't have any click sound, actually I don't have any trouble with the piano, for now.
switched from yamaha p45 to roland fp-10. I fell like roland is 5 times betters in terms of everyting: keyboard feel, sound, functions. Especially i really like the keyboard
You sound like a wonderful father. Our children are our everything. Keep up the great work!
Things i wish i knew before clicking on this video. Things I wish I knew before I took the time to click on this video. Here is a list of things I knew before clicking on this video. Here's the number one thing I wish i knew before clicking on this video. Number 1 - the constantly swaying video makes you sea sick. I was on a boat one time and that made me sea sick. I'm so glad I took that boat trip though. Ok here's number 2. Ready for number too? This video is click bait. The guy has nothing to say. He talks and talks and talks and doesn't take a breath. It's exausting to listen to. There's no reason for him to be yelling but he's yelling for no reason and swayin the camera around. Did I mention he's swaying the camera around? I got a camera one time, it came in a box. I put in the box in a room with a door. Go look at a door in your room. My door to my room that has the box for the camera in it is just like that. Ever see a door before? No? You're in luck this guy shows a video of his door when he's talking about where he put the box for the piano. Why would someone bring up their storage habbits in a piano review? Thats a question for another video I suppose. Ok those two took a while, but here we go I'll do the rest of them really fast......
Things I wish I'd known before watching this video: (1) The video is a complete waste of time. (2) I will never get the minutes back that this video took from me. (3) This video tells us nothing useful or critical about the piano. (4) I would be annoyed and feel compelled to block all suggestions for this channel after watching this video.
He’s awesome 🤩 !!!
Lol, I quit watching after that. It's like a ten minute tik tok video.
I was on the fence between this and a Yamaha. I did not quite make it to the end and bought the Roland. Sooooo.... I found it helpful.
i ordered one of these. then the video showed up here and i was like oh no. i thought this video was gonna be bad news.
0:40 or so. I'm sitting-there waiting to hear Mr. DIY launch-into an angry storm of why this piano was a cheesy waste of money, but then he wonderfully reveals, that it's the opposite. That's great.
Roland need to hire you for their promotion team :D
Yeah, I've heard other users say that digital pianos reveal hidden ability masked by playing most acoustic pianos, which usually have much heavier action.
What hidden ability you mean?
For example?
@@kaisfp Speed, accuracy, dexterity, intuitive recitation of songs the player wouldn't even hear in their head, if they were tiringly pounding-away on a regular acoustic piano.
I realize that with classically trained players, that makes me a keyboard heretic, but it's still true.
Sorry, it eaaily could be my bad, but I'm not sure if I understand.
Do you mean
practicing on digital piano (for ex. FP-10) will make people more acurate piano players
(compared to practicing on acoustic piano)?
@kaisfp Yes, for a while, anyway.
It wakes many dormant players up long enough to realize they might not be as bad as they thought, and to consider returning to piano.
They should still get instruction, though, or they could just mis-teach themselves into a new corner anyway.
thanks for this, really useful!
My mom was skeptical but my mom was sold after this video, TY
This piano is great, I just got bought one for my birthday. These reasons to buy are very persuasive! 😂😂😂
This is such a great review. I've been looking at learning piano and had my eye on this one. Definitely going to buy one now. Love that it sounds like Saul Goodman doing a product review too 😂
it's fr like someone trying to sell me something all the stuff he says is positive haha
His voice sounds like Badger to me :P
@@BenjaminsBay Jesse... the FP10 is my hero and shit
bro just tricked us with the title that others generally use for a bad reviews....lol😆😆
Omg I knew I recognized your voice! I used to watch your videos practicing for my driver's license!
Can you please tell me the dimensions of the piono stand, length and height?
I am also looking for same information, I have this keyboard with an x stand but I am considering to buy this one
Hiiii this is the size for Rolland FP10 128 x 26 x 14 cm
What is the name of the stand you have?
To me, it looks like the official add-on, "Roland Keyboard Stand (KSCFP10)". 😎😉
I bought my FP-10 from Costco and it came with a stand and seat.
Thank you 🙏 ❤️❤️❤️
Your title is misleading. 'Things you wish you knew' implies negative remarks about the product. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, I presume.
R u selling
Would you buy FP-90x if you knew all this stuff?
Can you use the fp-10 with plugins like omnisphere in your daw with different sounds?
ruclips.net/video/HXgnoEfaoZU/видео.html
Se puede usar con el triple pedal para el rolando fp-30?
Where does one get that stand for the FP10? 😄
Sweetwater has em

pressing keys hard
Wow, why so hyper.
Clickbait, to make sure anyone thinking of buying this piano watches the video.
What the …. man. What type if review is this ?😂
Aa soon as tge voice started i switched it off! Who can take a review seriously when it sounds like someone reviweing some kids stuff
I think you need to improve the sound quality of this review, hard work to listen to? Best wishes.
Did you consider an ADHD TEST?
Did you consider a constructive comment?
I'm sorry I laughed
How would you re-phrase that ADHD test comment question?
The point of the comment is constructive critisism,
the way is not as easy to phrase it right without sounding offending.
@kaisfp Did you consider an Autism TEST?
Actually I did consider it :D I just don't trust online test results, and I don't know how much a test like that would cost, but my guess is that it's probably not super cheap, certainly not free, unless I'd have a doctor friend, but I don't.
4 kids and you get 3 hours to practise? You must have one understanding missus. Ive got 2 kids and i don't even get an hour a week before the moaning starts!
You need to make a schedule and stick to it.
