It's NewYear's Eve 2023/2024. It's quarter to 11 CST. I discovered this channel maybe 10 minutes ago. I'm 48. I was introduced to the Ramones at the age of 7 by my much older siblings. To this day, they are one of my favorite bands. You guys are amazing, and a great way to ring in the new year. Seeing a little kid appreciate this music, warms my heart.
That is a great story... and our little one is going to follow you as a Ramones fan until she is much older. Experts are unsure about why this creature exerts this behavior. Perhaps it sighted it's favourite food, maybe it caught a glimpse of a new type of drum skin. All we know is more studies are needed.

I've seen the original RAMONES live at small clubs few time, way back in the late 70s, so that gives my opinion a bit more street cred. ;) After one show, a few fans, including myself, gathered around the group's van in the parking lot and hung out with the boys and passed it around.
I feel very fortunate and have great memories. Back in those days, living close to NYC, we were part of the new "Punk Rock" scene and frequented clubs like CBGBs, etc. I saw the first installment of Twisted Sister (when they dressed like 1920s Flapper Girls). Also, Blondie, The Plasmatics, Joe Jackson, DEVO, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Jefferson Airplane, Santana, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Robin Trower, and others. Do you guys cover any Twisted Sister or DEVO? It should be pretty straight forward and fun to listen to.

I write material for Groups you will most certainly know. I'm without sleep now for 3 days, as when my lyrics and toons come to me....they all come in floods and I try and turn everything into a rough cut demo in about a day. I absolutely love it, but my brain is now demanding some sleep. Give me about 8 hours and I shall re emerge with a story I have been saving to tell you. Douglas Colvin and I became almost inseparable when we met in a High Street shop in London We were in touch for ages after, but hed just finished the Animal Boy album, and needed to " not be a Ramone" for a while. It's a truly lovely story and the fact that years later......well, I'm going to save that bit....Peace. Rog x

Douglas Colvin and I became almost inseparable when we met in a High Street shop in London We were in touch for ages after, but hed just finished the Animal Boy album, and needed to " not be a Ramone" for a while.
