I'm a new subscriber to your channel and your doing a brilliant job I've got the mini 1 and 2 and the mavic air 2 and I wasn't going to go for the air 2s but watching your video I think you've sold it to me lol but I must say the video quality is absolutely awesome. Keep up the good word 😁
Thanks very much. The 5.4K is pretty crisp. I wasn’t sure if it would just be a gimmick but it does add something in combination with the 1 inch sensor.
Mavic 3 would be nice. I think in the UK most people end up sticking with below 250g drones because there are less restrictions. In the US and other places I guess there more open unpopulated spaces.
For precision landing it’s best to fly straight up to around 20ft and hover there for a few seconds at the start of a flight. By doing this the drone maps the landing area and then uses this with the downward vision sensors for precision landing. I’ve tested this on the MA2 and it definitely makes a difference
Interesting info, thanks. I'll definitely keep that in mind in future flights. I always thought it went wrong after quickshots and thought I read that too on forums somewhere. I imagine there could be a dedicated video just surrounding this issue as it's a fascinating and mysterious one.
@@StevesDrones The Air 2S manual states 7 meters is the height needed above the take-off point to record the home point, but I get the voice announcement about 'Home Point Set' as soon as it reaches the auto 1.2 meter height.
They give 3 pairs of spare props with the combo. A pair is 4 props , 2 clockwise and 2 counter clockwise and every drone takes 8 props. 3 pairs gives you 1.5 total prop changes.
No I meant that you get 3 sets of props with it and one set is on the drone so you can change all props twice. You get 8 spare propellers. DJI define a pair as two propellers. It says 4 spare pairs on the box.
great video, a proper first use flight well explained. my Air 2s arrives Monday was waiting for Mavic pro 3 but the adsb is interesting. the lack of variable aperture is the only thing that would stop it being a direct replacement for the Mavic 2 pro. I have found the return to home depends on the light at time of take off compared to landing.
Thanks very much. That’s interesting about the return to home being dependent on light. On the Mavic Air 2 I found the precision landing didn’t work after using the quickshots feature. I guess it could have been due to light.

Thanks I have both drones and I’m looking to upgrade. Mavic 3

Basically nice job

Liked and subbed!!! Thank you for sharing. Best regards from the Philippines.
Thanks for the sub!
Fun stuff :)
Mate u have a lot to learn about drone and usage and features before doing videos
I think time was of the essence with this drone.
