Oh my. I was drawn to this vid by its title, which I now know is misleading. While there is some useful basic info here, I suggest viewers look elsewhere, as there are also many incorrect things. And many of the things that would benefit from some more careful explanation are simply glossed over. Below are some examples. The first ones are kind of nit picking, but the later ones are more important. 2:51 Under FAA's Part 107 rules there are many many situations where flying higher than 400' above the take off point's altitude is legal, such as when legally inspecting cell towers, or when flying up along rising land. 3:09 FAA prohibits operating a drone from within a moving vehicle. 4:03 "this will automatically warm up the motors" is pretty misleading, as what it will actually do is start spinning the props. "Warming the motors" is likely to injure someone; spinning up the props might. 5:22 You do not need to disable sensors to hand catch this model drone. You can use the same technique that works with the Air 2 model (non S). Many other RUclips vids demonstrate how. 8:27 Turn Flight Assistance Off does not turn off the sensors, it just turns off the drone using those sensors to automatically influence where you can fly it. Even when this setting is off the sensors still detect obstacles and indicate their presence on the screen with the orange bars and beeping, which can be useful to know. 8:33 Bypass mode does not just influence the drone when flying in one of the "intelligent modes" (by which I think you mean Active Track and Quick Shot modes)... It also influences manual flying, 9:06 Enabling this setting does exactly the opposite of what you describe. 9:13 Your comments about when you might need to recalibrate the compass or IMU are not useful (a crash is at least as likely to screw up the calibration of the IMU as it is the compass, for example). 11:11 The "Holograph.... shows all your important levels"... Seem that you don't understand this feature well enough to name it correctly or say what it actually does. 11:38 The recommendation to alway leave WB on Auto is bad advice, especially when shooting video. 12:30 - 13:49 Your brief descriptions of the RTH buttons, the orange bars on the display, the gimbal wheel, and the active track/spotlight/POI features are all so superficial as to be pretty much useless. This is one of those areas where there actually are hidden features which you might have talked about (like how to control the digital zoom feature and to rotate the gimbal sideways) 15:00 "There you go. Now you are a pro when it comes to operating your drone...." No way based on just watching this video. Sorry
Most of this analysis of the post is spot on. One exception: FAA rules actually do allow you to fly from inside a moving vehicle. But only in a sparsely populated area. Even then, you can't if you have been hired to transport property. You're right about the commonly misunderstood 400-foot rule. Within 400 feet of a structure, you are allowed to fly 400 feet above it.
Thank you for making an in depth, but easy to follow video! I would personally like to see you break down the different video modes as you said you could.
Great video I would like to point out that as someone flying prt 107 rules commercially that allot of the new drone pilots can be spotted by the little band aids on the tips of their fingers from trying to hand catch , after awhile you either get good or you just stop trying ---be very careful those props sting and if its a little windy .....
at 5:20, that icon does not turn off the sensors, it's just a shortcut to toggle sideway flight, if it's on you can flight to four directions, forward, backward, left and right, if it's off, you can only flight forward and backward

Having trouble as a rookie with active track following my sand rail when I do wheelies. I try and stay under 25 mph but not sure what setting I should have the switch? T-N-or S? It's out in a sand dunes so pretty much no trees or obstacles to hit. Just need it to keep up. Thanks
I think when prompting it TO LAND..it’s meant to land RIGHT WHERE IT IS..or in that location, as in IMMEDIATELY. Kind of an ‘emergency’ landing to get “out of trouble”. Otherwise it’d be no different than RTH…

HELP ME PLEASE? When i record i record at 23.98fps on my Air 2S when i put it into my editor Powerdirector 365 it has the video property at 23.00fps which ends up making my footage shaky/jerky. When i do the same thing with my Mini2 it does not do this the video is 23.98fps.... This is driving me crazy can someone help me please?

I can’t stand using my drone, it pisses me right off. The joy stick is all wrong. Togo up in air craft yiu pull back towards you, but nit in this drone. In construction my excavator, tractor, back hoe, ect, yiu want the bucket to go up yiu pullback, so why can’t they make the drone do same. I’ve tried to change the joystick but it can’t. Is there a update. I can get used to it somewhat, but in an emergency I instinctively pull the joy stick back to go up.
Slow down, talking at such a fast rate is counter-productive. Plus at least learn the names of the things you talk about. WTF did you say "Hologram" when it is clearly labeled HISTOGRAM
Don't buy into the hype. These units are terrible. They are buggy, latency issues with the video feed, signal related issues are 2000 ft plain of sight no objects nor other radios, unable to charge your phone (slow charging only), the tracking software loses sight in plain sight, files get corrupted 😉, they aren't shielded from EMF/EMI, the software app is buggy, you will get jitter in transmission and on the recording file, these are cheap Chinese toys not drones. Sorry DJI, you lost the game and feel. Let someone else start the trend.

Yes there is all you have to do is go to settings,camera and scroll down to “advanced gimbal settings” and then customize it to your likings

It seems the controller looks exactly the same as that of the Mini 2 but with better transmission.
Transmission is actually the same. The controller is still O2. The drone, itself, is O3.

Just use a different device. Much easer and simpler then messing with the device your flying with. Tripods for this are fairly cheap and useful
One thing I noticed you didn’t cover is if you switch to 1080p 24fps you can get a zoom up to 8x

I doubt a normal size tablet will fit. It's already struggling to hold my big phone.
They do sale kits for the air2s for tablets. If your using a really big one I suggest a lanyard to help keep eveyting steady

I really don't like the video quality out of DJI drones it looks like 7 fps... I know it's 264 codek but still poor performance by DJI
