Great video. I am a drone enthusiast who has been flying since 2018. I fly for the love of flying and have always looked at photography as 2nd priority. Something I am slowly coming to understand may not be the best way to do it. I am only now starting to learn some of the camera magic. I believe the best teacher for Drones is stick time. Fly whenever and wherever you can, again for the fun of the flight.
I started with the 2.7k camera on my Phantom and my Mini drones but moving up to the Air 2S with the 5.4k , 20 MP camera has gotten me more interested in the camera side of drones. Again great video, I enjoyed it very much. Thanks for sharing.

Totally agree. There no substitute for getting air time. I learned so much during this short trip to Idaho. Thanks for sharing.

I use an ipad mini 6 with a little extension. Works perfect. Changing ND filters is part of flying a drone or make sure you keep the sun behind you.

Hi there. I have a few suggestions for Air 2s add ons. First, get some landing gear to help raise the drone for take off and landing. Ot will help keep the lens from hitting the ground or the landing pad when landing the drone. Next, use a tablet along with a tablet holder as opposed to a phone or even the smart controller. Also, add a sunshade for better visibility on the tablet. The reason for this is app flexibility when it comes tovediting drone footage on the fly from your tablet. The RC and RC pro is very limited in installing the apps tovuse with video and picture editing. Plus, the screen on the tablet is usually bigger than the screen on th RC Pro

which version of the Davinci did you use?

    • @charlesn

Good question...I'm guessing an early version of 18. 18 was released July 21, 2022, but I didn't download it immediately, but this was released April-May 2023 so I would have had it by then.

Hey just noticed something you can't fly a dji drone with just a phone all dji drones come with a controller just so you know but otherwise great vid

Mine came with the controller that uses your phone with it as the ‘screen’. I wasn’t a fan of that setup when my phone screen went dark…I was super new to flying drones and didn’t want to run into that situation again.
