Glad to see S&W getting into this market….Very nice. Now, how about one in 10mm,or even the FPC in 10 mm
Because 9mm is cheaper and more readily available
800 bucks for an entirely polymer blowback?
Yeah, I don't think so. Thing shouldn't be priced much more than the 15-22 if the 15-22 in 9mm is basically what they're giving you.
agreed.
I was getting excited, until he said that. My Aero 9mmPCC is a bit on the heavy side, but i'd much rather have a metal upper/lower!
It's selling for under 7
@@mattyingling9020 It should be selling for 4-450 max with a polymer lower, upper, and handguard. Especially if they're not giving you any kind of sighting system.
@@stevem4783 yeah especially if you’re locked into that rifle setup, I wouldn’t want to upgrade anything in fear of breaking/stripping the polymer.
Great review. Covered all the basics, no BS. 👍
Another PCC? Smith just released the FPC earlier this year. They're coming out with a new product every couple months. Kygunco rocks.
I'm in for a 10mm!
Groups are nothing to be ashamed of...... Don't sell yourself short
trolls will troll.
I wonder if the zero would wander from heat, since it’s all polymer.
@@frankyg2384no
I want this, but in 10mm.
why
I can easily see this as a replacement for my S&W Sport II.
Kinda wonder how straight that polymer rail will be in a couple years !?!?
Nice rifle but I will be keeping my S&W FPC.
I bought one last week! Haven't shot it yet, but like it so far!
Not sure why they did this so close to the FPC release, this may hurt the FPC sales for a few reasons.
I can see that. Personally I'm still sold on the FPC. I'm a fan of it's philosophy of use, & storability/portability. Only think I don't like is how they made the mag holders, but that's a minor gripe.
Lol all polymer this shouldnt msrp above 550 tbh
Looks neat I'll stick to my Ruger PC carbine. 👍 I would rather get a 556 rifle for that price. Even a Ak GF3 from palmetto.
Lmfao Ruger
@@edkeeton5244Laugh all you want, my Ruger pcc has been great right out of the box. Very accurate carbine.
Too bad it’s all polymer, wonder how it would hold up to years of use, would the polymer get brittle or compromised from lubricants and solvents? I prefer aluminum for the upper at least and would the zero wander from heat?
First the M&P FPC and now this, plus it takes Glock mags. All kinds of choices,,🤯🤔😱.
so the question is, fpc or response?
Still not available on your website
I need one as long as the price is good 😂
i dont like it
I like the changeable mag well. Neat idea.
Have they fixed the out of battery issue with it? Saw one earlier that kinda came apart in a certain mans face. Not good.
Very Nice '' Great Video 💯 Thank You 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Lost me when u said all the polymers it’s made from. I’ll keep building aero precision.
I built mine, Aero upper, lower, barrel. eats everything!
Perhaps an Aero hand guard would make the perfect combo. I swapped out the polymer guard on my 15-22 for an aero and it feels perfect.
@@Law260 can’t go wrong with anything aero makes
Does it take sig 320 magazines. The sterns defense magwell adapter is for M&P 9 or sig 320 because the mag release is in the same location.
I don't think P320 mags have an adapter yet but it seems like they are going to have multiple adapters available for it soon. I'd hope P320 mags will be an option.
WHY MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT'S AN ar-15 WHEN IT'S NOT?
.357 sig by chance lol. Would love a carbine in that caliber
Fr Sadly .357 sig is a dying caliber the only mainstream manufacturer now who makes a pistol in it is Glock, I saw on a forum earlier this year someone ask S&W if there was any future .357 sigs coming and their reply was No
@zacharyadkins6501 well i have 2 sig pistols in that caliber that I reload for.
@@redraiderreloading7612They're becoming rare things now, which is sad because I love the caliber...I was actually in the market for another one and found out Sig Sauer stopped production a few years back and wasn't looking to start it again ...sad thing
Polymer upper and lower? Really? No thanks, I'm out
Polymer has been around for a very long time this is a pcc Polymer works perfectly fine for 9mm if it didn't S&W would not have produced it js
@@briansee7641 I hope you enjoy yours
You had me until polymer handguard and upper and lower like the 15-22.
Yeah, about 90% + plastic. I think if they could make the barrel plastic they would.
Alot better than the folding p.o.s they recently dropped 😂
I like 2:16 😅
😅😅⁰⁰⁰howuch
How much
It is way too expensive for what it is!! I’d rather get the radical firearms pistol, which is not bad in aluminum! For $400
I was about to get the S & W M & P FPC 9 mm now this comes out to add my consideration. And your right about those Uploaders for 9mm mags.
I have and love the FPC, I will add this to the armory too!
One advantage the FPC has is its its only 5 pounds. I don't see this being under 6.5.
@@tommccormick9290 Weight is not an issue for me. There are a few reasons why I would go to the Response over the FPC. I will put this out next week.
Why not both? I got my FPC from KYGUNCO this spring and love it but now I'm thinking of adding the Response.
@@cprateau That is dependent on the person, I have both. Mine are used just for fun, not really a defensive purpose.
So they made magwell adapters for Sig P320 magazines?
How are you loading it? Is there another way besides pulling it back??
Why would you want this??
Why not?
@@123andme what purpose does it serve? Gotta be better things to invest your money in...
Since you didn’t say where your POA was. Was it grouping low?
Cool,s,w
0:54 it came with those mags correct? That makes it standard not high capacity. Please use the correct terminology.
Is this straight blowback? How's the recoil? Difficult to charge for a kid or gal?
Only thing I don't like is the proprietary upper receiver and lower
Is this going to be a pretty cost affective rifle seeing how the whole gun is plastic.
Algorithm 🔥🔥🔥🔥
all plastic like the MP 15-22?
I hinestly like this gun, even tho i want an ak
Does anyone know if the response 23 round mag will fit in the shield plus?
It should it is the same mp 2.0 mag they use on the fpc
where are the sights?
$699 at My Local FFL
lrbho and glock mags
No Iron Sights?
well done, KYGUNCO
Liking this.
Send me one thanks! Retired disabled veteran
Need to release it in an 8” barrel
Until the brace ban is gone that is not going to happen.
Wonder if the barrel and Handguard can be swapped out? If this brace ban is lifted and SBR restrictions are tossed, one could technically swap barrel lengths on their own, correct?
Love S&W but too much polymer for me to consider this one.Great video.
Pointed down range in a safe directions “aimed at range ceiling to the side”
Polymer frame? Huge turnoff.
Ive heard from people that have handled The Response is that it feels cheap and the plastic S&W used feels like the cheap 3D printed plastics.
Maybe go check one out for yourself
Why did they leave the sights off flip ups or something on nature you medium high dollar for the gun and then you got first thing you got to do freaking shoot it and go out and get some kind of sighting equipment. That's all I got to say about that
Pretty sure it was for market demand because other pcc that come with sights people constantly complain about it🙄 which I don't agree with but hey
No sights, no thanks.
Oh my god Glock! I love Glocks but you guys need to wake up!
Wake up to what?
2:59
Not sure WHY you put it on safe because there is nobody there with you to pick it up. 99.9999% chance the camera man is NOT going to pick it up.
Not a bad habit. Muscle memory.
@@TK-cl1jm It has NOTHING to do with habit or muscle memory.
There is NOBODY there to grab that carbine and go shoot everyone.
Do you think some ghetto person is going to run in there and grab the gun and start shooting ...
THINK REALITY not Idealogy
This is like their FPC, except it doesn't fold, & it takes glock mags.
And is $200 more. I'd rather buy 2 keltec sub2ks. Again they release a rifle with no sights. Add another $100. I'm not sure why this would draw buyers except taking glock mags. Very expensive all polymer gun for that. Plus what are you going to do with the two 23 rd mags if you use the other maxwell? Great if you own a mp 2.0 though.
Oh for the record I own a fpc and like it, but am pissed they sell it with no sights. No issues I put a romeo 5 on it, the extra weight from the 2 stored mags doesn't bother me, I could see how someone who doesn't need a folder may like this. But I woukd honestly say go with the ruger carbine instead.
I'm holding off hoping sw does a 5.7 carbine. I'm pretty sure panzer arms is enjoying the patent.. but keltec made a knockoff using the 50 round mags. In the meantime a 9 carbine does the trick ammo being what it is vs 5.7.
If you’re running a 16” barrel with very light recoil just go 5.56.
I simply can’t understand why anyone would go “I want a rifle but I’m a really anemic 9mm”. Go with 5.56. Y’aint walking away from a 5.56 close range. 9mm even out of a 16” barrel you’re not getting permanent wound cavity like 5.56. Granted I prefer 5.45 but… biden. Again.
Why go with an anemic caliber to begin with, but now more unwieldy AND anemic. If you can’t handle a 9mm handgun you won’t be any better with a 9mm PCC. As the Canadians say “figure it out bud and give your balls a tug”. No really if you buy this over a 5.56, check to see you still have balls and give ‘em a tug.
PCC’s are pointless unless it’s 45 acp where you actually gain significant FPS and ft.lbs with a 16”. Even then, go 300 BLK so you can run supers AND subs.
Could it be bc in case of some great global calamity that 9mm will be more readily available? And perhaps 9mm is easier to reload? I mean i hear you...a lot of people want it in 10mm...
Your post shows that you're clueless 😂
Ammo is half the price maybe?
