    For those negative feedbacks: I think what he is trying to tell the world to learn and understand Chinese culture with a open mind by giving "how to peel a banana" example. His intention is nobel and should be credited.

    • @ishrendon6435
      @ishrendon6435 2 года назад

      Why should they integrate and open up?? Isnt sovereignty a thing still?? Europeans who colonzied most fo planet after losing there conlonies say sovereignty is permitted meaning let a governing body do what they want and however wau they choose to govern themselves. Isnt that there sovereign right to be less open ,less globalized and less integrated. You obviously should just leave them alone they want to be left alone because of European hypocrisy and hatred

    Everyone has an opinion on China. The problem is can you really describe China in a speech, a book. Having traveled here since 1993 and living here for 16 years (with zero expat friends), I still am learning and realizing how little I know. PS. my putonghua (Mandarin) is native.

    People say that China copies everyone's technology. OK, I agree, but I want to add some more words, these are - "Nobody can copy Chinese technology. If anyone could then he would do business like China and he could compete China." So think about the difference.

    Your session is very refreshing..if most..just most of the American Foreigh Politicians think like you, I don't think the Chinese have reasons to build more battle ships or weapons. Perhaps, there is hope yet, despites what's happening at the moment. We all know that the Chinese don't like to colonize other people. Their record showed . The only thing we have to fear is fear ltself.

    • @umedavk2011
      @umedavk2011 5 лет назад

      Gei Xiong : The Chinese don't like to colonise people ??? I think the Tibetans will give you an argument on that point. The Chinese are also aggressively expanding into the South China on the same specious grounds that it belongs to China. All the countries surrounding the South China are extremely worried about Chinese expansion.
      The Vietenamese have been warring with China for around 2000 years for the same reason. As China grows in power, it willcontinue to expand. The best thing the West can do is to make common cause with India which is a democracy and a rising power.

      History needs to be continued, the only civilization in the world without a date is China, please let me give you a brief example, can you read or write ancient European documents? While Chinese people can read or write historical documents thousands of years ago, and language, phonetic characters can't last very long, it will change slowly depending on what people are using at the time, but Chinese people use ideograms so that their language and characters can be read or read for thousands of years, if you need evidence, please feel free to google, hopefully to help you with your question.

      @k jason well, same with China we have regional dialects and culturally diverse in region but was assimilated all in one during the Han Dynasty 2200 years ago and foreign rulers also assimilated by China so Han Chinese never went away and expansion began by those foreign rulers helped China gaining more land and territories, India never got unified under Indian rule but was achieved under Foreign powers, Mughal Empire was the closest one to a unified indo Pacific regional superpower but was taken over by the east india trading Company... I guess we know how all that went.
