one thing that always keeps me away from coding is the question:" what exactly are you doing in that job" you mentioned netflix as one of the 5big companies. what exactly are they doint there that keeps multiple progammer occupied every day? the website and their app doesnt seem to improve.they still dont have a "alrdy watched" category where every series that i watched automatically goes in to. instead, the shows stay in "my list". so what are they doing there? thats why i am kinda hesitant in learning coding. i just cant see the overall purpose. especially when i hear how many people work for google for example. the fuk are they doing there? xd or everytime when i hear about a "new" app it always sounds so useless. or when i saw a documentary about someone in a smaller company. he had to program a new "rating button" so that customer can rate their satisfaction with the employees. he was done after 1 day...so what exactly is he doing afterwards? you work till you are 70....
When you reach the scale that Netflix has a lot of different issues appear, you have to optimize performance to make sure that the customer continues watching. It depends on your team, but you’ll most likely work on a small feature of the application. This is also why a lot of developers prefer working in startups or smaller companies because they can have a lot more impact and work on bigger stuff. Your concerns are valid, but there is a way to have purpose and impact in your work.

Hey man, what full stack resources do you recommend? I mean courses/tutorials for node, express, databases etc.
Hey bro, checkout my video on “How I would learn programming if I had to start over”. I mention a bunch of good resources to learn web development.
