All automakers deny warranty for a burnt down husk. Nothing new. Their reasons are stupid but nobody warrantees an unrepairable total loss.
Warrantees are to repair your vehicle due to workmanship issues, not to absorb the loss of being upside down in an auto loan.
If the fire is a manufacturing or design defect, the proper method for redress is to file a lawsuit, not a warranty claim against the automaker. If you take your insurance company’s payout, you might loose your right to sue.

@sammyjammy6647 I didn't want to get so deep into it but here you go. Let me know your thoughts. And I like to think I have some street smarts..
I went with my daughter to pick up her new camry from DCH Toyota in Torrance, CA. She qualified for the first time buyer $500 rebate because she was working and in school. Easy enough. So we told the finance Mgr. who wrote up the paperwork that we wanted the rebate also. He had been working there for 17 years and told us we handled the rebate online. It sounded off to me but I took his word. When the first payment came due. We asked about the rebate and was told it should of been handled during the paperwork...kind of what I figured but I had no reason to believe the finance Mgr. was lying. But he was for some reason. So I called the general Mgr. Valentine to see what was up. He started off with excuses.. maybe she didn't finance the car..she did. Maybe she wasn't going to school...she was, I have her transcripts. Maybe she wasn't working...she has her pay stubs... Since we were talking on a cell phone. I asked him to send me an email and I would attach all the documents for him to see. He said he would but never did...so now I'm getting tired of the BS so I thought Toyota corporate care would clean this up very easily and filed a case. So Valentine called me back. Gave me more BS about sending me his email. Which there was no electronic receipt that he ever did. So I asked for it one more time so I could send him her forms. He again said he would but also started saying, "you know. This is getting kind of late now.." yep he drug us along for 6 months now..sadly Valentine never followed through again and sent me his email. So I called corporate care back. Explained the situation to the very nice lady and she said she would call the dealer back for me. But first I told her how that he was going to "him and haw" and make up excuses about ever contacting me back or the forms we had ready to go..so she calls and talks to them and tells me, "you were right".. so I thought she was going to escalate it and waited another month..unfortunately no call so I called Toyota care back for the 3rd time and had her pull up my case. She did and said it was closed... and that Valentine told them that I waited too long to contact them..(less than a month) so he was not going to do anything..case closed. The care agent then told me they ALWAYS go with what the dealer says even if they disagree and there is no more recourse available to me..again case closed. Bye. So all this was over a $500 rebate from the factory for my 20 year old daughter. I can't come up with any reason why DCH Toyota would do this over a factory rebate.. I will say the finance Mgr. made some interesting comments when we were making small talk. Let's just say. They made me question him.
So there you go. What's your thoughts? And hopefully this is clear. I didn't proof read it.

If the Ford system catches other drivers speeding besides yourself, I could see this as being very good. I live near Dallas Texas and the insanely rude and reckless driving, and excessive speeding has become epidemic. It is so bad, they could probably fund the city thru speeding tickets alone. And we're talking drivers doing 20 to 30 mph over the speed limit as then some. Major accidents now occur on a daily basis, but doesnt seem to get much attention in the news. I try not drive there any more than is absolutely necessary as the experience is nerve racking any more.
I can see this is just another step toward full autonomous transportation where people won't be able too speed because they won't be driving. I think it is really sad that people cannot obey the law and be more courteous because they feel entitled to drive like idiots and speed excessively endangering other people's lives. How boring that day will be when your vehicle does all the driving for you.

The simple solution to apple users that complain about Chevy with their EVs doing Google interface don't buy a Chevy then it's that simple it's funny how apple people complain about this the easiest and honestly the smart thing to do is not buy a Chevy then buy some other vehicle then. I'm glad I got a Google phone so I have no complaining on my end and plus I wouldn't buy a Chevy anyway. Apple users are hilarious I've seen more people who have apple phones with cracked screens than android phones.

Chevrolet is going to lose more customers by doing that. Just go to another company like Toyota instead if they wanna play games.

If you speed well you deserve a ticket because you are breaking the law, you break the law you will get consequences for that. Why is this so like getting people so raddled about is hilarious, seems like the people who are complaining about this are the law breakers, the ones who speed, so I have no issues with this idea, for speeding should be a ticket, no warning, it should be automatically a ticket, obey the speeding laws you have no problem.

Yes, do as you're told. It's totally normal to think that one adult should be able to tell another what to do.

@@cstgx being a adult means if you break the law like with speeding you get a ticket if you don't like that well then you don't deserve to drive if you can't obey the laws of the road.
