The opening for the viola is so melodic - superb.

Dittersdorf, a contemporary of Mozart, with whom he performed string quartets, an important representative of classicism, he dominated his forms and structures and maintained a melodic richness.

It is a great stylistic differens between Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Dittersdorfs sets more focus on the melody and is not so playfull as Mozart.

In fact his music reminds me more Pleyel and Michael Haydn, whose melodic focus prevails with a hearty taste and generous variety of nuances

sorry but the solist play not in the style of this music. It's just to romantic. Thats early classic, not schostakowitsch
