    I laughed so hard trying to do those exercises!!! And I failed successfully because after trying for like 2 hours I couldn't do it that well BUT I felt incredibly relaxed and happy!!! THANK YOU!

    0:13 Touching your elbow to the opposite leg, known as "cross-crawls," can help connect the left and right sides of the brain.
    Activities that involve crossing the midline of the body can improve the integration of the corpus callosum, the bridge between the left and right brain hemispheres.
    1:01 Performing hand movements with one hand moving twice as fast as the other can be a fun brain exercise.
    1:22 Arm circles, with one arm moving towards the body and the other away, can also be a beneficial brain activity.
    Juggling as a Brain Workout
    2:19 Juggling can actually create more white matter in the brain and build "brain power."

    My dear Jim, I heard about you a time again, when I started to struggle by loosing my working memory also after Covid, not only due to my MS, diagnosed 13 years ago, but I didn't look for videos or for your canal. Now I see, I will be your regular pupil, I will train also your exercises, not only triathlon😉, I hope, you don't know more MS distructed (para)triathlonists. God bleds you!!!

    I had amazing results writing with the opposite hand after a sm. Stroke which I lost speech and motor skills! I would just pick up anything and start copying it,phone book, dictionary etc, I slowly gained new pathways and capacities that even exceeded the ones I lost! Thank you for this great video!

    Little tip I found for the second exercise is counting to 4 like in music and flipping the faster hand every beat and the slower hand every 2 and 4. Hope it helps!

    These brain kinesiology warm-ups are great; my wife uses similar ones in her 4th-8th grade classes. ... I really enjoyed when Jim just started showing-off w/ his juggling skills at the end! :)

    I clicked this expecting you to suggest puzzle & cross words, was thinking this is too easy until I paused to try acouple and had wow it took me awhile to get them right! Definitely saving this video to do this

    Found this really interesting, particularly because I can do and frequently practice all of the exercises described in the video, especially juggling, but I have an incredibly horrible memory.

    Try learning to play the drums also, it has helped me on the long run although with time it just becomes natural to me, so these exercises are good to stimulate the brain with new things. Thanks a lot

    Your videos are great! I am 72 yrs old how do I improve my short term memory, especially words. On the spur of the moment, I can't remember a certain word if I need to describe something. 🤷🤦

      I'm no expert but I think doing them every time you get a chance without saturating yourself can make a huge improvement

      Once you learn them they do nothing. They just take concentration is learning them.

    This is exactly what I was looking for for my folks. Excellent video bru. Everything else was to much bs talk. I just wanted some simple exercises to work with my folks. This is the stuff we used to do in the 70’s as kids before phones computers internet. It would get so competitive amongst the other kids on the block.
    You actually could have status by being the best 😂
