so everyone with a canam x3 needs to get a m18-1.5 curtis valve installed. I have had one for a while now. u will not spill oil on your can am oil changes anymore. check them out
Couldn’t agree more! We will be giving away a Curtis Valve setup in our next oil change video, so stay tuned! I actually had never heard of them, but after checking them out, this is defy the way to go!!
awesome glad you checked them out, honestly I haven't even had to climb underneath my can am to do the oil drain since I got mine installed . Just slide a pan under and hit the valve.
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the rear tint windshield for your 2023 CanAm Maverick X3 DS Turbo
Thanks! We appreciate it! We couldn’t agree more! After that disaster of an oil change, I’m never doing that again! We will be installing our new Curtis Valve on the next video, and also giving one away, so stay tuned!
Mine just has one 17 mm drain plug on the bottom through that same hole
really? that's odd.... maybe I only needed to remove the one bolt then. That would make way way more sense.
@@GarzaGangAdventures i think the small one next to it was for the oil filter housing. 🤷🏻♂️
Yep *$#% that funnel. At least your small 10mm bolt didn’t fall into your oil holding drain pan and roll into the actual reservoir. 🎉
Hahaha that funnel SUCKS! We’ve since grabbed a Curtis valve and are giving one away for our next oil change video so stay tuned!!!
Video on the Curtis valve would be cool as well.
For sure!

@@cjcallen5974 that’s awesome. Sounds super easy, and I like easy!
Do you have a recommended link to this product?
@@retroelectro1190 I think amazon has it the cheapest. search m18-1.5 curtis valve
You should be running the Full synthetic 10w50, better engine protection than that 5w40 blend .
Really? I'll look into it, thanks!!
Coors light sign. The only thing that would make this perfect is Milwaukee too...... AH yes there they are.
@@C-141B_FE it’s the American way! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

What a mess😂... You missed the funnel.
Hahahaha yeah I don’t think I could have done that any worse lol. Complete mess! 🤣😂
I cut a 4"x4" hole with a saw saw.... Funnel fits better.
@@thelifeoffastony1157 this seems like the easiest and most cost effective solution. Thanks for the info!
F* ita I cut a bigger hole. Still a little mess but not a disaster.
We’re installing a Curtis Valve on the next change. Seems like the best way to go!
That’s worth the subscribe! Haha
Hahaha for sure!
Good video! This is the only way to change your oil on an X3....ruclips.net/video/egCgKkjy6RM/видео.html
