Just my thoughts exactly! For me, PS1 era was the shit! The golden years of my life (my dad bought me PS1 in the beginning of '97 and i played that system almost non-stop until 2001!) and PS1 is still my favourite console of all time! PS2 came close but didn't have the same impact as PS1 did for me.

Yes, i know what u mean.
The transition from 16-bit to 32-bit was very extreme
It was mind-blowing in so many aspects
You can't compare this with e.g. the transition from the PS3 to the PS4

  • @MrMadMothy

This was when games were fun and you did not need to basically pay for the game a second time with dlc to get the full experience. I believe my parents were right when they said i'd miss my childhood. My young gaming years, aha. Mega Drive and PS1. Abe, Tomb Raider, Crash, Sonic and Splatterhouse. I feel old, i'm only 25.

I played it about 12 or 13 years ago (I must've been below 5 years old) and for about 6 years now I've been trying to remember what it was called! I asked my parents silly questions like "what was that manta ray game I played when I was a kid? And there was a dinosaur too I think?" and they looked at me like I was crazy but I KNEW IT WASN'T MY IMAGINATION THIS GAME IS REAL AND I HAVE FINALLY BEEN RE-UNITED WITH IT. At least the name, I still need to buy it somewhere...
