Great job as usual katie! Who in thier right mind would ever thumbs down this video?!. This channel is by far my favorite for trader joes hauls. Look forward to it every week. 👍😃

I had the rainbow cauli for dinner with the tj turkey burger and ajika seasoning. Sooooo good! Great haul! I started sending your videos to my mom and we virtually watch them and discuss after lol 😂 a new little tradition every Friday and Saturday I look forward to. ❤️
You are one of my go to’s before I do my weekly Trader Joe’s run. I also love the taste tests, your son is so adorable & is so chill just listening to you guys 🥰
I started buying Our Daily Cab when I drink wine. I feel so much better when I drink red wine now Not sure about the levels of sulfites but they are low in this brand. I don’t think all organic wine has low sulfites. I could drink the whole bottle and not feel it the next day. All those years I thought it was the alcohol making me feel badly and now I know it was the sulfites. I never drink a whole bottle but after several small glasses I feel fine. Unfortunately they don’t sell wine in the grocery stores in Connecticut so I can’t buy Trader Joe’s wine.
Also, you are a vegetarian-did you know that the reason they get away with calling it "natural" flavor is because either a plant or meat product is incorporated into the chemical mixture-so, when you eat anything that has "natural" flavors added you may be ingesting a meat based product. It really is oblivious (non) labeling...
I completely agree with everything you have stated and I also do not like things that have natural flavors. Having said that, it is almost unavoidable at this point and there are some things I truly enjoy natural flavors and all. I’m not perfect and, although I wish our foods were, they are not either. In conclusion I try my best to eat healthy and eat fresh fruits and vegetables (from my garden) in every meal I make but processed foods accompany many of our meals. It’s great that you are so passionate about what’s in your food and I am glad you have the option to shop elsewhere for your foods that don’t contain the natural flavors. Keep doing you girl and I love that you’re spreading awareness to others in a respectful way in the comments. 💕
Katie-one of my comments seems to have been removed-in it I wanted to know why trader joes adds "natural flavors". you work there-can you get some insight and feedback on this-why use natural flavors, maltodextrin and bad oils that cause inflammation in the body when tjs could be making better choices?
I do work there but I’m just a crew member. I have no better insight than you about such things as why they add certain things to the foods they sell. I encourage you to write an email to corporate and find out. They are really good at getting back to questions/concerns.
I really like peri peri. The first time I ever heard of it and had it was in London. There is a place called Nandos a d they sell the sauce too. There are different levels of heat too
One of my favorite TJ's meals is sauteing some mushrooms in butter, adding in a bag of TJ's frozen mushroom ravioli & cooking according to those directions, then adding in a scoop of vegan sour cream at the end & serving it all over some rice. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good!
I always thumbs up before I watch !!! Hey Katie sorry I’ve been absent. I’ve been diagnosed with Stage 4 severe kidney disease 😢 so many foods I can’t have. I’ve been trying to sort it all out. Trader Joes will have many selections I can enjoy. Thank you for sharing all these foods with us. You said you put tjs pesto on the colored pasta right ? I can have that. See you at the taste test. I’m making my list.
Oh no, Kathy this news breaks my heart. I am so sorry friend. I hope you and your family are doing as well as you can with such hard news. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. 💜
I just bought this today! I have the original bum bum cream and I think you’re right! That’s probably why tj chose to put Brazil nut in the name. They’re very similar. I do like the original scent more but for 1/8 of the price I’ll get over it 😂
So disappointed to see key lime popcorn has sugar #1 ingredient AND it contains maltodextrin which is just as bad as high fructose corn syrup. As is anything listed as modified food starch. Why not just use sugar?
Oh I wonder if the body butter will be a dupe for the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. I love that body butter but its so expensive. Loved the video can't wait for you to try everything.
I went to pick up the Arepas yesterday and I was told that the arepas were pulled from shelves because they were not up to Trader Joe’s standards but no recall 😢

Peri Peri sauce is popular in Portugal (Piri Piri sauce). It’s absolutely delicious especially on roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, and burgers. I use it mostly on vegetables like my charred broccoli.
Bread cheese doesn't mellt like cheddar or mozzerella. You slice it and brown it in a pan (with a touch of olive oil) it keeps firm and you can dip it in Marinara Sauce. It's more like Hallumi than Mozzerella. It's delicious!!! (haven't had TJ's yet) I think it's called bread cheese because it's more on the firm side and you slice it like bread (I could be totally wrong on that! Ha!)

Alas...I have been an avid Trader Joes fan for decades, but that has severely waned of late...seems that almost everything I want to buy has "natural flavors" added. (for those of you that do not know, that means processed chemicals)! Wanted to get the Ube Mochi mix-"natural flavors"-ugh. Even organic products have been having added "natural flavors" like the organic rooibus tea I wanted to get! Or lots of TJ items have maltodextrin or oils that create inflammation in the body. Meanwhile, you have raved about the Coconut Almond Creamer and ugh, ugh and triple ugh-not only does that also ha e "natural flavors" but I do not get why you like it-it tastes synthetic, way too sweet and destroys the taste of coffee. Clearly, different strokes for different folks which makes taste tests highly subjective. Anyway, Katie, you work at a TJs-could you tell them that they are losing customers due to all the sythetic
I wish I could remember the type of cheese the Garlic Bread Cheese is. I tried it years ago on the Keto Diet. It does have a slight Bread flavor to it. I sliced it and fried it in a pan, browned it a bit.
I know!! It killed me to buy them at that price. I just had to get them once while they are here so I justified it as a seasonal once a year splurge lol
@@wordup9300 equally delicious as when you get a really good bag of regular red grapes. If you love red grapes I think definitely give these a try if it's within your budget :)
I love grilling cheese, which is what I think that garlic bread cheese basically is--similar to halloumi. I don't think it would work well as a substitute for feta in that TikTok pasta dish as it doesn't really get melty or creamy--it gets more crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The first time I had it was when Hello Fresh sent it to me to make cheese toastie sandwiches with toasted buns and a chimichurri sauce--that was delish! There is a company you can order other grilling cheese from online called Moo La La--they have several flavors including pizza, bacon, and jalapeno.
Katie, you are the best! I rely on your reviews and my husband even asks "what does Katie say?" before we make a TJ's run. And the wild berry cheesecake ice cream you tasted last week is one of the best ice creams I've ever eaten. Could be dangerous!
I put it on the list for my husband too. He loved it. He bought two and they are already gone.. It will definitely be a staple for him until it's out of season.
Happy Birthday Tim 🥳🥳🥳. Glad you said the crisps are spicy because I love all the crisp but unfortunately I probably won’t try these 😢. I am curious about the garlic bread cheese but I’ll wait for your review.
🎈🎂🎈Happy, Happy Birthday, Tim!!!🎈🎂🎈 I hope your birthday is just as sweet and fun as you are! Sending you lots of wishes for a wonderful year! Great haul, Katie! Can't wait for the taste test! And, I love that the melons are in the little mesh bags. I lose my grip and unexpectedly drop things and melons are kind of hard to hold, so, even though I don't love extra packaging, I appreciate this because it will be easier. Hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating with your family! See you again tomorrow. 💖
OMG! So many exciting items this week! I hope I can get that candle and body butter! I still have gift cards from the holidays and I recently picked up the sunscreen lotion you mentioned as well as one of the hair serums. I also just picked up the key lime popcorn last week and it is amazing! Everyone should get a bag if you love popcorn! And I think I want to try that lasagna, that sounds really tasty! Looking forward to the taste test! Big hugs :-)
Happy Birthday, Tim. Everything looks so good. I'm curious about the new cheese. Oh my gosh, I hope they don't have a limit on the candles. I learned the hard way, if you don't buy multiples of your favorites they are gone in a flash. Waiting for the taste test tomorrow.
Hi! One of our local cheesemakers makes "bread cheese" (known as justo loepa originally). I don't think it would work in the pasta recipe. Our cheese factory recommends their original flavored version (i.e. not garlic) topped with salsa if you want to go savory, and I like it topped with lingonberries if you feel like going sweet since it's a Scandinavian cheese. Yum! It's a good snacking cheese and I got my entire family back in Arizona hooked on it.
FYI-Bread cheese is like halloumi cheese it does NOT melt stays firm. Bertholletia excelsa seed oil is the proper name for Brazil Nuts the body butter does contain it in case you are curious.
Have you tried Soy Curls yet? They are vegan, and are totally delicious when cooked right. They're like tofu in the sense that they absorb the flavor of whatever you cook them in. They're made from soy, so I guess that's a no-brainer. I love to make vegan chicken soup with them. My carnivore friend loves them as well. They are made by Butler & they have a website or you can buy off of Amazon. You won't be sorry, I promise. :)
Great haul… summer 2021 in the backyard is going to be fun. Interesting fact about the grapes… the guy who invented the cotton candy, gummy, etc - he and his team created over 30 varieties over the past decade by cross pollinating other fruits with grapes. There are strawberry grapes, blueberry grapes, etc. He said some vines ripen well while others have mild flavors. As they continue learning how much fruit yields during each harvest season, improving the flavor (picking at the peak of ripeness) is crucial. I learned about it in a podcast and was intrigued by the process.
We buy that tri colored but now just two colored caulfilower. It's a staple in our house and so good. I looked for the strawberry lemonade lotion but it's not at our Trader's yet. I definitely want to try those gummy bear grapes.
Enjoy the bread cheese. It is actually garlic - bread cheese. It originates from Finland I believe, and is a squeaky cheese. Lol. I always liked slicing it and frilling it in a pan. It gets crispy and doesn’t melt. Think of it like halloumi. It is so good!
Bread cheese is a fry cheese ...you want to cut in strips and dip it in sauce ..it doesn't get soft...like cheese you would melt on bread ..its delicious.
I watch your videos they are very good and I have a question I don’t know if you can answer to me what happen with the soy creamer for the coffee is more than a year I don’t find it at any store do you know it is going to come again or not
Lodi is the spot for wines. It's in the San Joaquin Valley and we grow some of the best produce around just in this area. The farmers markets in Lodi and Stockton are amazing store strawberries are tasteless compared to what our farms have. Hands down.

Love the sugar kiss melon it’s my go to fruit! I buy as many as I can every year and I can’t wait for the kiss lemon melon!
Sad about the nets the melons come in 😔 They’ll probably end up in the oceans
Ooof I didn’t even think of that. 😞
I see your point. You can gather it in a rubber band and use it to scrub pans. At least you can get some use out of it.
We buy that tri colored but now just two colored caulfilower. It's a staple in our house and so good. I looked for the strawberry lemonade lotion but it's not at our Trader's yet. I definitely want to try those gummy bear grapes.
What is making the popcorn not vegan? Did I miss it? 😔
Enjoy the bread cheese. It is actually garlic - bread cheese. It originates from Finland I believe, and is a squeaky cheese. Lol. I always liked slicing it and frilling it in a pan. It gets crispy and doesn’t melt. Think of it like halloumi. It is so good!
omg i’m want access to a peach tree! you’re so lucky!
Bread cheese is a fry cheese ...you want to cut in strips and dip it in sauce ..it doesn't get soft...like cheese you would melt on bread ..its delicious.
I love frozen grapes on a hot summer day and I bet those gummy bear grapes would be so good frozen!
sorry..continued...comment slipped away...due to all the synthetic ingredients they have been adding...
what is your take on all this?
Happy Birthday Tim!
Hands down.
