Bitwig should completely ignore all the comments from users whining, bitching and moaning about basic DAW functionality. Move on nerds! Instead give us what we really need: 3 new FM synths, 2 new wavetables synths, 6...I said 6! more polysynths, 12 new chorus, flanger and phaser modules, get rid of the piano roll, audio editor, channel mixers, and last but not least add 77 new mathematical gate devices in the grid that have nothing to do with music whatsoever. We want this now!!

I propose we get rid of a GUI altogether, as that's just too conventional, and not enough out-of-the-box. The most modular system is an interface based in machine code.
@@jonirischx8925I agree, GUI's are vastly overrated! I would die just to have the option to only work in terminal! Also for the fun of it, they need to raise the price of Bitwig to $1,999 for no reason.

It surprises me why in Bitwig there are no themes, no skins, no interface settings, or even settings for the font color and element colors. After all, this is the first thing any novice programmers learn at Hello World. Learn from the latest version of fruity loops how to customize the interface, maybe later you will become interesting to others. While you still need to learn how to make "hello world graphics" I am very disappointed in the lack of graphics in your program, the lack of themes and skins and the terrible graphics of piano roll. Why don't you know how to make graphics settings even at the "Hello World" level?
After Fruity Loops added some shitty theme support after 25 years, you tell a young company with few employees to learn from it? I'm pro criticism, but not pro idiotic criticism. Bitwig already has skin support deep integrated in the code base, they can do it, but they just don't prioritize it or even consider it.
Please people in the comments, don't be silly, adding sound pacakges has almost no influence on the evolutions being developped in parallel...
Especially as they have been provided in conjunction with a third party.

What is it with DAWs like bitwig that you cannot zoom or scroll with mouse wheel? (At least when you hover on the time bar). Is it like so complicated or hard to implement? The only reason stopping me from buying bitwig is too much orange and this zooming/scrolling and some transport stuff.
Add tools for edit vocal like celemony melodyne and you rock!!!

Good on you for adding orchestral sounds, but not adding any DAW feature to help with orchestral composition, not even the common ones... Your priorities are messed, all over the place.
Why so negative? They keep releasing and introducing new features and people like you just always complain. If you’re missing stuff here just switch your DAW
I just asked myself who the heck wants to write orchestral music in Bitwig since it is completely the wrong DAW for this imo. They're usually spot on with the new features but this pack is definitely out of place :).

There are hundreds of orchestral libraries out there, can we get ARA2? Ableton announced it will be releasing it? I own a copy of Bitwig but I will move over to Ableton if they manage to implement it. I would prefer to stay with Bitwig.
