@@radamtv4779 I guess so, but Hendrix revolutionised rock with god-knows-what in his system… and let’s not get into the role alcohol has played in in guitar music since it’s inception. I think most punks, rockers and metal heads are more open minded about the choices artists make with their bodies and what goes into each person’s creative process/showmanship.

Bummed out I went to Hoboken the next night to see Nirvana open for Tad. I also met Joe Strummer and Mick Jones from the Clash about 20 years ago... It was the best day of my life ❤

I've seen Bad Brains many times. And the thing that made them the superior hardcore band above the others, besides their high energy live shows, was the fact that they could all actually play their respected instruments. Dr. Know, Darryl Jennifer and Earl Hudson were great musicians and HR was an amazing front man.

Also wanted to make some pointers:
The Germs, the sex pistols, minor threat, social distortion, NOFX, X, The addicts... Etc they also had some very memorable live performances, can't believe they didn't make the cut.

From the point of view of a punk, in no particular order:
    1. At the Drive-In
Really intense show, small venue, never heard of them. They actually jumped off the walls.
    2. Hank 3
Stared at the crowd with mixture of fear and determination. Misfits shirt on.
    3. Kid Rock
This one surprised me. Great show. Also big surprise was Pennywise. I already had a chip on my shoulder but after they convinced the crowd to storm the stage I was impressed.
    4. The Dwarves
Girl got up on stage and flashed us, later she left with the drummer, played for 20 minutes, had someone else's blood on me after the show.
    5. Black Sabbath
Ozzy yelled SO LOUD, got on all fours and started jumping up and down. Also, Keith Morris can be loud when he wants to.
    Worst shows:
    1. Tool
Just a bunch lights n noise.
    2. Offspring
Played a benefit but pretended it was about them.
    3. Charles River Project
    Fuck college.
    4. "Sweet Home Arizona Band"
    Worse than Charles River Project
    5. Any house show in Flagstaff after 2008
That's all I can think of for now.
Edit: I almost forgot GUITAR WOLF!!!
They played harder than anybody I've ever seen. I was actually CONCERNED for the singer. Bassist died of a heart attack a couple years later.

Missing is the Germs segment in The Decline of Western Civilization. And Black Flag's too. In 1984 Black Flag was not playing punk IMO. Also should have included ANY Minor Threat show. Better to have included an earlier Clash show from the 70's. By 1982 they had left punk behind. .The great GBH 's Stoke-on Trent (1983) certainly deserves consideration to. But overall you picked some good ones.
