Kinda. During the evevnt we'll be able to collect a new currency from those ingame loot ticks. And then once we get all cosmetics. At the end of the event we'll be able to play a story mission. Its a short one , its kinda like the one where we put back ash's head in season 5 but it still is smth at least

here an idea, since tap strafing gonna be a thing, maybe respawn could make the thruster packs react when doing them it make it make sense. Maybe even wall bouncing could do that to I think it be a cool ascetic.

Evac towers means just more opportunities to scan for enemies more frequently. That's how I saw when they first got introduced.
Plus if her BURNOUT isn't fully charged she'll have a backup.
