Grand 65th Birthday Ceremony of Honourable Mr. Gangadhar Bhide Kollur,

Celebrated through Cultural Programs and Felicitastions, at Mookambika Temple
A grand farewell event was organized at the Sri Mookambika Temple in Kollur, Byndoor Taluk, Udupi District, to honor Mr. M. Gangadhar Bhide, who retired after many years of dedicated service. The temple organized a four-day event to commemorate his retirement and honor the couple.
On May 28 and 29, 2024, religious ceremonies were conducted at his residence, including Ganahoma, Rudrabhisheka for Kuladevaru, Pavamana Abhisheka for Naga Devaru, Ayushya Homa, and Annasantarpane.
The cultural stage at the Mukambika temple saw blessings and mantrakshate from Sri Sri Esha Vittal Das of Kemaru Kshetra. Various cultural programs such as bhajans, dance bhajans, Harikatha, devotional songs, Bharatanatyam, and felicitations were held.
Special performances included singing by Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Ms. Prajna Marathe and her group. The cultural programs were led by Mr. and Mrs. Leela Basavaraj from Bangalore. Mr. M. Gangadhar Bhide will continue his service through priestly duties at the Mukambika temple.
