I'm currently in bedroom quarantine because of sickness. I had the boys go around and lysol all the doorknobs, light switches and handrails. I'd love to see you do some general germ tests on "high touch" areas and maybe which cleaners work best on them, are they really that dirty, how often should they be cleaned etc.
Oh I hope you recover quickly!!!! I will do a swab test on high touch areas. Each time I have swabbed light switches, they don’t produce much bacteria at all, but will do some other spots too! Hang in there and get better!!!

I believe that thymol is also the same active ingredient in the original Listerine mouthwash. Which would explain why it is a very effective remedy for a sore throat. Very interesting video. Thank you

I like using products with Thymol because I know it is completely food safe and no rinsing is required unless they add other ingredients. I also don't have any alergic reaction to fake chemical scents. I also use dollar store mouthwash with Thymol, look for the type like "Original Lysol". Thank you for all your testing, I enjoy your videos!
YES! Thymol seems to be all around fantastic disinfectant, but the scent can be strong too like in Clean Boss. I love how it works but it is a super strong scent! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@FieldOfFocussuper strong but dissipates after 2-3 hours! I much prefer it to bleach (which irritstes my asthma and induces headache) or similar chemicals

The food choices we make will either bring in a huge amount of bacteria or not, which means these foods are attacking our immune system every day. Something to think about.

My dishwasher broke too! We replaced the water inlet valve but now it’s just not rinsing well. Might as well wash by hand since I was having to rewash the dishes anyway.

I just found this video ive been looking for a disenfectant that doesnt require rinsing and is safe on food prep surfaces. did it stay wet for the whole ten min or did you have to wipe again to get it wet again? Thank you for making these videos.
I squeezed and made sure it was wet enough to remain wet.. but afterwards using it in my home sometimes I have to re-wipe to re-wet. Thank you for watching!

My question is, can it kill streptococcus?
Hi there, right now I am not identifying the types of bacteria in my home that these products remove. However if you go to the Seventh Generation website or read the back of the disinfecting wipes container they have a list of the specific bacteria that this product kills, "*Kills 99.9% of household germs specifically: Influenza A virus, H1N1, Rhinovirus type 37, Methicillin-resistant S. aureus (MRSA), Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella enterica, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa."
Why advertise this brand the dish soup of this brand destroyed my sink . So I’d not recommend this brand at all
I have tested only two 7th Generation products, and haven't had any issues with them yet. Would you be willing to tell me what happened to your sink? What material is it and which product ruined it? I do try to test all sorts of brands on this channel, so I guess I don't view it as advertising them as much as showing results. Thank you for commenting, I am curious about your sink.
I was wondering if you were going to do an episode with thieves cleaner by young and living. It’s suppose to be a environmentally better opinion for cleaning and less toxins but I didn’t know if it really cleans or disinfects.

I have used this brand dish soap for years no with no problems at all. We have a stainless steel sink. Maybe yours was porous stone?
How could it destroy your sink? What is your sink made of?
