We Malaysian believe when you are giving something good to people, the god will give you back multiple over, it's from Islamic teaching and it's been spread all over Malaysia and now every Malaysian from different races and religions acknowledge that this teaching has been integrated in our bones, that's the foundation of Malaysian hospitality, when we see any kindnesses we'll support it all over, if you're poor and still giving to people? Then tomorrow other people will come and give you what you need either by help or money or food, it's been happening across Malaysia all the time either in the past or in the future, we'll hold our principal of giving to people who needed and someday people will come and give us what we need❤❤❤

This is nearby my house. I have to go tomorrow then lol! My family eat at Hameediyah for 4 generations already. My late grandfather eat at their first branch in Penang until my mum and siblings are known by the generation of Hameediyah owners. Way back then, Hameediyah wasn't as spicy as right now. Very kid-friendly. Now they have adjusted to be a lot more spicy according to the trend.

U know, hameediyah originally from Penang,it's the oldest mamak restaurant established in 1903. I miss Malaysia. Can't speak Malay good enough, but I was told if I add 'lah' at the end of my sentences, I could make myself sound friendlier. Often got extra food added to my purchases for free when I went to the stalls. Thank you for sharing your food experiences!

Most Malaysian are Muslims and in Islam doing good deeds such as giving food especially on friday will be rewarded more from the Al Mighty Allah. The more we give the more we will get back. I miss Malaysia. Can't speak Malay good enough, but I was told if I add 'lah' at the end of my sentences, I could make myself sound friendlier. Often got extra food added to my purchases for free when I went to the stalls.

I did hear you communicate with the staff there using our Manglish (Malaysian English)... 'you eat lah'.. I know that now you dah pandai mix around with the locals. One more thing.. Malaysian hospitality such as that "belanja".. it's normal la here.. 👍👍👍😍

Most Malaysian are Muslims and in Islam doing good deeds such as giving food especially on friday will be rewarded more from the Al Mighty Allah. The more we give the more we will get back. But in terms of Malaysian even the non Muslims also love to give and help those in need.
