Tip for the rendang paste/kit: use half of the water when you're cooking the meat, then use most of the remaining water to mix in the pack so you get most of the paste out. Basically use the water to soften the meat after you've browned it a bit and then don't use up all of the water just in case it gets too liquid 😊

Nasi lemak in Japan is 98% but obaasan is 💯💯. Kawai, energetic, still has good fashion sense to match her clothes with the headband, and can chew big beef and chicken 👍🏼👍🏼. So lovely to see her again. Really hope she gets to come to visit Malaysia.

Wow! The apron and head band is suitable for her. My experience while in Japan. A friend and I were invited to cook simple Malay food at an engineer's house. I cook sweet and sour clams and my friend cooks vegetable soup. but my friend put chopped chilies in his cooking. When the engineer's son tasted my cooking, he said he could eat it. but when he tried my friend's vegetable soup he kept screaming because it was too spicy he said. he ran all over the house screaming. when jimmy's grandmother screamed spiciness i remembered my memories in japan a long time ago.
