  • Once again we're back with another GR Yaris unboxing and installation video. We've kindly been provided with a set of front EBC Racing 2-piece floating discs and RP-X track pads by EBC to install on Matt Howard's Toyota GR Yaris.
The EBC 2-piece disc will reduce unspring weight from rotational mass, leading to sharper turn in and improved handling. Paired with the EBC RP-X track/race pads you will receive unparalleled braking performance.

Good weight saving, I think a brand new stock rotor weighs 10kgs each

Looked a lot smaller than I was expecting 9.25 vs 9.1 maybe a new rotor is 10kg but that’s not what this vid showed

The front brakes for this car are so expensive Man. Even the oem ones

If you don't track your Yaris often then you should be ok, hopefully!

I've tried lots of different ebc products and some of the pads are good value but don't perform as well as others and the discs have always been a big downgrade from oem

Definitely don't want to be putting copper slip anywhere near brake pads...

I think copper slip has to be the worst lubricant. Only good for anti seize. Even then there’s better anti seize. Very messy, especially when you work on a car that’s been lathered in it.
