Fleur Sullivan's restaurant has a historical richness appeal reserving its unique classic style homestead on the bayside. Abalone is a delicacy of the shoreline complementing any choice of beverage. Those green lip claims looks so satisfying and refreshing. This is not your usual bbq for sure. The mutton chicken prepared with such perfection looks like a chilly day sensational treat. Wow NZ is beautiful throughout the town & sea. I would consider a retirement residence in NZ bayside. Thanks Mark for this splendid phenomenal episode of such natural varieties of NZ best cuisines. Oh my gosh, I was so surprised to see him actually go around New Zealand and try some of the food that is particular to us. I don't think I've ever seen a foreigner-foodie eat a muttonbird boil up before. I don't think even Anthony Bourdain did a muttonbird boil up when he came over. But I grew up with muttonbird boil ups and he was so right when he said that its a food taste memory you don't forget. I would have also suggested a porkbone and puha or watercress boil up as well. So yummy!

One interesting thing about mutton birds is that they're what are called "ground nesters", which means they dig burrows and lay their eggs underground (and also continue to raise the chicks there).
