Too much my family yo us WHAKATANE FOREVER thanks for taking the time to go to our home town brother I've watched all your videos and always hoped you visited our hood was good to see you bro.
This is a fantastic episode with so much positive support and endless care from many people. The fact that a few years ago these same families were against each other not standing side by side in supporting everyone. Much love and respect to everyone involved in this strong movement. ❤🇦🇺🙏❤️
Brother H, what a changed man and an awesome leader for his Whanau! I remember back in the days this guy looked liked if he didnt know you, its on! Met him at the gym last year, handshake and introduced himself to me. Mean mahi the BP brothaz and awesome video
Even though NZ is flooded with gangs still the light comes through and change some of the brothers to walk another path. Brother H is solid and keep up the good mahi brother. Thanks for the podcast USO ✝️❤️❤️
I live just around the corner bro and used to hang around Awatapu growing up across the lagoon before there were houses. Got some good young Māori leaders in these guys and they're doing a great job teaching the young ones. Next time you down come out for a forage and a taste test. 🙏🏽

Would be buzzy to time travel and interview the white power gangs. There might be a few old heads still kicking around that could provide an insight into the White Power gangs. Could make for interesting content.
I have a few recent videos on my channel about the WP movement in Chch in the 90s. there are a few of the old crowd around, but they aren’t reformed, they got old and retired. I dont know many who would be keen to talk about their past, but I agree, it would be good to see.
A lot of people do not know it was Christ who lifted the Maori out of their old ways in the 1800s. Here again, in the 2000s, he is doing it again. I am so glad to see the change in heart of these fellas. They are changing the future path of all who come after them.
Christ has NOTHING to do with it infact Christ has nothing to do with Māori period sick of people thanking god for shit when the praise should go to themselves
@justycescott7 All you have done with this comment is show your own ignorance of our history. The tribes converted to Christianity, and it was Christianity that drew them away from tikanga, utu and cannabalism. This is what the chiefs had to say on the matter themselves. You sound angry, maybe you should get to a church and you will find people who will care about you. All said in kindness to you, All the best.
@@HTDSNZ This is correct - Christ also gave us the power to break our superstitions. I rmember my mum (boomer) reminding us to call on Jesus when those maori heebee geebees come a knocking. And we did. And it worked. That spoke volumes in itself....our spirituality as a people is staunch and true - but not immune to darkness. Christ brought the light and we have found our way out.

Use to live in whk 10 years ago. Lived there for 8 or so years in the hood in kingi place right around the time the outbacks started. Every member I got to meet were awesome people my house was safe and family were safe. Even done my community work with the late president of the movement and learnt alot about them while doing it. Seeing them progress how they said they wanted it to progress back then is wicked.
