Its worth observing that when Samdish asked Gadkari about caste/religious discrimination in allocation of housing in urban India, Gadkari's response was steadfastesly focused on individual rights. "You as a business owner [analogizing businesses to homeowners] have a right to do whatever you want." Essentially dismissing the notion that govt has any role to play in prevention of religious discrimination in housing. Gadkari also dismisses the feasibility of housing anti-discrimination policies, explaining how a quota-like system wont work. However, when Samdish asks Gadkari about his stance on live-in relationships and same-sex marriages, Gadkari suddenly was way more serious, terming it as "destruction of society." This is insightful since it demonstrates Gadkari's thought processes on how he views the importance of individual rights vis-a-vis certain areas. As illustrative from his view, live in relationships are a serious issue that governments must get involved in people's private lives to prevent "destruction of society." The casteist/religious discrimination in housing doesn't rise to this level of significance unfortunately, and "individual rights" are more important to him than any potential social cohesion issues. Basically, there's no "destruction of society" in the case of housing discrimination. This, in my humble view, is a very telling observation.
You are true that there is a discrimination against the renters based on Caste/religion. But I don't see a credible argument on how government can influence house owners as it relates to direct interference in private lives of people. When it comes to areas where government can make a significant contribution to address these issues we have reservations in place and laws to protect minorities. At the end, house owners have the choice and its the same all over the world. Regarding live-in relationship there is more nuance to the conversation. Any child birth out of wedlock creates huge problems even in western societies. Firstly the lack of healthy family atmosphere definetely impacts the upbringing as are the financial impacts. These issues become even more apparent in more conservative societies such as ours. Comparing these two issues which have significant difference in the level of impact on societal fabric does disservice to your argument
He also said that laws won't be there to prohibit something that he opposes. Individual freedom still prevails but he expressed his view very unapologetically there.

These are all third world countries, they tend to be unstable and look at their history majority of them suddenly became unstable because oil was found their and other countries tried their best to infiltrate, Afghanistan historically was a battlefield for Russia and America, why don't you look at examples like Indonesia, Malaysia etc
Total non-sense..most of the countries you've mentioned here were flourishing DEMOCRACIES before FOREIGN INTERVENTION. Iran was one of the most stable and free countries in the World before power was usurped from its popularly elected PM Mohammad Mosaddegh by CIA and MI6 because Mosaddegh threatened to nationalize the ANGLO-PERSIAN OIL COMPANY (now known as BP) which was a major cash cow for the Brits and installed a pro-west SHAH who due to his dictatorial and corrupt policies directly paved the way for the ISLAMIC revolution in 1979 Lebanon today is one of the most religiously diverse country in the World. Under the TAIF AGREEMENT government powers are divided amongst different religions. Now you might argue about HEZBOLLAH. Well HEZBOLLAH was born as a direct result of Israeli occupation of Lebanon in 1982. Had there been no occupation, there'd have been no HEZBOLLAH TODAY. Afganistan was also a flourishing democracy before the Soviet invasion and was totally destroyed by the Americans after 9/11. As a matter of fact it was the AMERICANS who propped up MUJAHIDEEN fighters in AFGANISTAN to fight against the Soviets. So we can't be blaming the AFGAN people for the state AFGANISTAN is in today. And why don't you look at INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA which despite being muslim dominated are progressive and peaceful.
Yeah I also agreed on it , though we should not make violence against them but it's all proven that if they will be in majority then all other religions freedom will be vanish.
last 6 minutes were good. Apart from that, Samdish sir, you wanted to be unfiltered but Nitish ji had a lot of layers. This shows that we as a nation must be more accepting of diverse thoughts, which might have allowed people to speak what they feel in reality
Several secular and democratic countries have a Muslim population exceeding 50%. Here are a few examples: 1. **Indonesia** - Muslim Population: ~87% - Indonesia is the world's largest Muslim-majority country. It is a secular state with a Pancasila ideology that guarantees freedom of religion. 2. **Turkey** - Muslim Population: ~99% - Turkey is a secular republic with a democratic government. It separates religion from the state while ensuring freedom of worship. 3. **Senegal** - Muslim Population: ~95% - Senegal is a democratic country in West Africa. Its secular constitution promotes religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. 4. **Kosovo** - Muslim Population: ~95% - Kosovo is a parliamentary democracy in Europe with a Muslim-majority population. Its constitution recognizes religious freedom. 5. **Mali** - Muslim Population: ~94% - Mali is a democratic country in West Africa with a secular constitution and a predominantly Muslim population. 6. **Albania** - Muslim Population: ~58% - Albania is a democratic, secular state in Europe. It guarantees freedom of religion and has a diverse religious history. 7. **Kyrgyzstan** - Muslim Population: ~75% - Kyrgyzstan is a secular state in Central Asia. It recognizes freedom of religion within its democratic framework. These countries demonstrate the coexistence of a predominantly Muslim population with secular and democratic governance.

One of the most mature interview done by samdish.. better than previous interviews...Mr Nitin Gadkari is true and intellectual politician I have ever seen.
Wow another fantastic interview !! Nitin Ji is a well read and well informed minister . His views on certain issues are due to the compulsions of him being a minister and due to him being a part of BJP !! He was very diplomatic on many issues. Though a bit surprised by his views on live in relation and same sex marriage !! But fact remains that he has been doing a great work over the last 10 years. Samdish… you too have been doing a wonderful job… the way you asked him so many serious questions in a lighter note was truly fascinating , specially the Manipur Issue . Keep up the good work 👍🏻

He said I don’t add 'Dr.' to his name. Well, it’s not due to his "greatness" or anything like that, but simply because it’s not allowed. Honorary degrees do not legally permit you to use 'Dr.' as a title according to Indian laws.
"American roads are not good because America is rich, but America is rich because American roads are good." Mumbai Goa National Highway is under work from Last 14 Yrs and It's Still not Complete and Quality is Altogether a Different Issue and he is Minister in Charge
It is the problem of local authorities not him. He has explained it many times. This is not China where you can force people to make way for the projects.
Nice one Samdish bhai! NG was probably the only BJP person who could face your questions. 2 questions I was really looking forward to (especially when he ducked the questions relevant to other ministries): (1) His take on the notoriety of Indian roads around road accident fatalities (2) Corruption charges on highway construction as mentioned in published CAG reports.
Pls tell any news reporter who got murdered after taking harsh interview of bjp leader but I can tell you reporter got harassed after taking interview of opposition leaders
The interview went well overall. At times, the minister tried to dodge certain questions, which is understandable as it aligns with his own interests. However, I do not support his views on population control, as they contradict what the RSS advocates. That said, I neither support uncontrolled population growth nor extreme population control. Today, rising inflation has already made it difficult for families to have more than one child. High costs for education and medical care further discourage people from having large families. While most people naturally prefer not to have more than two children, there are still some who wish to.
Political Correctness and Practical Life are 2 different things... When Samdish asks why certain BJP leaders say certain things about Muslims "He expects them to be politically correct" But they're talking based on What's happening in Pak and Bangladesh...Politically correct people live in Delusions and Will learn their lessons first in hardway
Loved the answer of Nitin ji on the same gender marriage and Live in relationship. Samdish tried to impose his ideology or tackle him through this question on him, he gave the answers perfectly
He is a work horse. Not a great leader tho. Remember when he was head of BJP, BJP lost badly in general elections. He was since then mostly sidelined till RSS got a bigger slice of pie in BJPs leadership
Hi Samdish, thanks for bringing him. Loved your content. Please bring Ex Muslim Sahil, he can answer your Hindu Muslim questions way way better than Gadakari ji.
This interview is Nitin Gadkari's attempt to position himself as a Hardcore Sangh Karyakarta. People may criticise him outside but within the party and Sangh Bureaucracy he will be a strong Contender for Home Ministry or some other Portfolio
What an interview. Invite the man famous for building roads and don't ask any questions about roads. You could have asked him about roads and toll taxes. But no, even here it is all about Hindu-Muslim.
Roads kuch achi bhi toh honi chaiye. There is barely any planning. Sab private contracts to gujju thugs, no footpatha, no sewage, roads develop potholes within months.
Gadkari ji isi shart pe hi toh Talk shows/Podcasts pe jaate hain, Ki unse heavy toll tax jaise sawal Naa puche jaye. Bas personal life ki baatein aur samajik baatein hi poochi jaye.

Absolutely wrong, India is secular because of the constitution, and Sabhi ka khoon shamil h yaha ki mitti me.. otherwise if , casteism, sathi pratha, Female infanticide, Brahamin ke siwa koi ghodi nahi chad pata, etc.
The very fact that 80 % Hindu population accepted a Secular Constitution shows why India is secular ,India has been secular since the past 1000 years, the jews never faced any discrimination here neither did the Parsis(zorostrians) which are two of the most discriminated religious groups in the entire world . casteism and religious discrimination are two different things and the Hindus themselves have criticized it like the Bhakti saints and many other religious leaders, even today the left wing of India who is fighting for the so called secularism is majorly Hindus .@@getagoodnamehuman

Samdish bhai, Where are questions on increased toll taxes, Fake toll plazas in Gujarat and other states, Toll collections continuing even after the plaza cost is recovered, Dangerous condition of NHs in north-east, Increased road accident rates on Indian roads etc. You are interviewing a union cabinet (Road transport & Highway) minister and you aren't asking real questions. You seemed way too blinged by his aura in this interview. This was just my take on it. Keep up the good work that you do.
I think Samdish should have ask him about traffic problems and bad road conditions of a country even after cement road which were promised as best road.
When people are not following traffic rule what one can do? The second thing we have a large population and in last 10 year we have seen a vast growth in road construction but still these types of problems can't be solved in a day (or I can say even in 20 years as population is increasing drastically). Coming to bad road conditions, India's weather is very much responsible for this but ministry have done fantastic work and everyone complaints about toll but everyone also believe that India's national highways have became more and more smoother to ride. Even many European and American foreigners comparing our highways with their own.
On one hand Samdhish talked about having strict laws monitoring religion representation in private society while on the other hand talks about right to choice in things even if they can affect society in negative way.

Iran was one of the most stable and free countries in the World before power was usurped from its popularly elected PM Mohammad Mosaddegh by CIA and MI6 because Mosaddegh threatened to nationalize the ANGLO-PERSIAN OIL COMPANY (now known as BP) which was a major cash cow for the Brits and installed a pro-west SHAH who due to his dictatorial and corrupt policies directly paved the way for the ISLAMIC revolution in 1979
Lebanon today is one of the most religiously diverse country in the World.
It means these countries don't have the own will to think 😅 somebody came and thought which one is kafir 😅@@Salman-g1e4m

If you can like Gadkari but not Modi, it's a reflection of lack of your depth and understanding of people. Gadkari has had a very shady past while no one could raise one finger at Modi and his clean track record
Keep up the good work 👍🏻
India has worst roads in the world hands down.. Totally corrupt and shameful, This guy should be ashamed of giving an interview.

Nice one Samdish bhai! NG was probably the only BJP person who could face your questions.
2 questions I was really looking forward to (especially when he ducked the questions relevant to other ministries):

one of the best interview
I have ever seen well done samdish 👍
The interview went well overall. At times, the minister tried to dodge certain questions, which is understandable as it aligns with his own interests. However, I do not support his views on population control, as they contradict what the RSS advocates.
That said, I neither support uncontrolled population growth nor extreme population control. Today, rising inflation has already made it difficult for families to have more than one child. High costs for education and medical care further discourage people from having large families. While most people naturally prefer not to have more than two children, there are still some who wish to.
Poor and uneducated people produce more children. So your point of inflation is invalid. There must be a strict law like China.

Gadkari is right, india is secular because of hindus. Just look at Pakistan and Bangladesh.
India is secular because of constitution not hindus. We have seen what hindus have done to their own in the name of caste

But he was more interested in catching him over left ideologies.
