I just purchased the yarn for this poncho. I love it! You are brilliant and I’m one of your biggest crochet fans. Please keep dazzling us with your beautiful work. I have followed you back when you had about 300 followers. People know talent when they see it. I never take this/your tutorials for granted. xxoo
Thank you, I just love this poncho. I made one for my self but it was too large for me, so I gave it to my daughter who loves it. She is much taller than me and it looks lovely on her. I want to make one for myself, but with smaller squares, that way the neck iopening will be smaller and the poncho will not be so long. I truly love all your projects and hope to see more of them.
Hey Annoo! Your crochet videos are the best because they are so clear and you go with us every step of the process. I can see clearly and you go at such a real time speed that I can follow. Thanks to you! Love the idea of using a light weight yarn, which I never really considered. It makes sense to use a soft light weight yarn because otherwise you are right, it would be very heavy with 4 ply yarn. I love the special granny stitch you have used because it creates a different center. You always step the game up a little.
I made 5 ..different colors.I have people taking photos of my poncho .they loved it.Thank you for share the pattern.love everything you post.fan for ever.❤
Annoo I'm so glad I came across your page. I am rediscovering crochet and enjoying it. I love this poncho, gorgeous. What a beautiful color palette. I also like your personality!!
Just starting the neckline of my poncho. I used Caron Big cakes in the Cherry Compote colorway. I am a large woman and it came out perfectly for me. I love it, it is beautiful. Thank you so much.
Ok great . May I ask your height? I am making one for my daughter and she doesn’t want to too long.. she’s 5’1.... and I think I’m gonna stop at 15 rows...
Jen Thomas I am barely 5'3", so doing 1 less round should be about right. I used 2 Caron Big Cakes, so mine is thicker than the one Annoo made using dk weight yarn.
OMG Thank you for your time, sharing your design's I just finished my boho poncho and I luv it. You made it easy. I used the same yarn, same color and it is so pretty Yarn cost was great about 24.00 This was a fun project
My 2 year old son loves to watch your tutorials with me! Today he kept saying pretties about your earrings. I love this poncho as well I will have to make it this fall! Keep up the good work!
I am on the second square...Fascinating to me that each side of this pattern looks the same. ....Doesn't have that wrong side appearance....Great pattern and fun to crochet!
Not sure why it has taken me so long to find you, but I am glad I did! I have so much yarn and thanks to you, some new ideas for those skeins! Thank you and please keep on inspiring and teaching us!
Hi Anno, love this pattern and really love the yarn.I want so much to make this only problem is I am on a limited income and can't by any yarn . Maybe one of these days. Being on disability stinks no extras. Medicine and food come first. But I love watching you and you have such a awesome voice, so soft.
I love ponchos💛💛💛i could make 1 every day and never get tired of them! Thank you so much, im starting this today! You are extremely talented! And thank you for teaching ❤💛💙💚💟
Thank you so much for the video and the written pattern on your blog. Allot of work for you I know but your the best and thank you. This is why I'm a devoted fan!
I am working on my second granny square now...looking gorgeous! I did however order another two skeins of yarn because it's taking me 1 3/4 skeins per square. I am doing 18 rounds as well. My tension perhaps.
Thank you for the bloopers! You are adorable! I’m going to order the yarn you used because it’s so beautiful, but for now I’ll practice & make a brighter one for my daughter with a Lion Brand Mandela. I might try to add a dragonfly stitch somewhere since it’s year of the Dragon 🐉.
Thanks so much for making this so so simple - just exactly what I needed and have been searching for to make one for my granddaughter-in-law. Will be using a beautiful yarn that is thicker, so will crochet less rows. Thanks again. Eve
I ordered this yarn in this color and it will arrive tomorrow😊. I hope I can make my neck smaller though. I’m 5’10” but don’t want it falling off my shoulders. Love your granny square design!
Perfect!! I love it and the colour is beautiful. Thanks for using a wool we can get easily in the UK. I have this same yarn in chunky. I will try this and let you know if it comes out. xx
Oh Annoo, I absolutely love love watching your videos. I always feel so relaxed when listing to you talk. So I don't usally order yarn from the UK but. When I saw this poncho you made it ordered 4 different colors lol lol I have already made one of these ponchos while waiting for my new yarn. I used alpaca yarn. ❤❤❤ oh It came out so beautiful. And yesterday day my melange and other colors came in!!!!!! It's so so beautiful. So thank you again. For all that you do.😗😗😗😗 and now I'm off to start my next poncho in this wonderful new yarn. Thank you again xoxoxo
Thank you for this pattern. I also love ponchos and recently bought Lion Brand's Comfy Cotton Blend in Driftwood. It won't be as colorful as yours, which is lovely, but I love this pattern. Your patterns are really wonderful and your tutorials make them sooo easy! So, so grateful for all of this. :)
Annooo you did an outstanding job of making the tutorial and the beautiful fall boho poncho! I love the still shots in the video. I can't wait to make the poncho this weekend. Thank you for sharing your talent.
I made this beautiful poncho several years ago and it came out small . I couldn’t figure it out since I used the same yarn and hook you used . I had it tucked away and got it out . I’m wondering could I add sc around the edge to make it longer
I am almost finished with my poncho, it's turning out very nice. I have a question: by making the neckopening much more nerrow, should I continue making the neck edge wider ? In other words, should I make more of those finishing rows ?
Anoo I would love to make this as my next project, but I'm just finishing a shawl with super thin yarn. If I used a regular worsted weight yarn with this pattern, would I still follow the same pattern or would I need to adjust to accommodate the yarn width. If I would need to adjust, how would I need to adjust? What changes to the pattern would I need to incorporate? Thanks so much for any help!
Such a gorgeous poncho! Thank you for this video! Can you please please do a tutorial for a small and thin sling bag? The size enough to carry a phone perhaps.
Hello Annoo, Maybe you can help me, I'm looking for yarn that isn't fuzzy but is thinner... What brand is the best? I've looked at all my local craft stores and can't find any that aren't thin and they're all get those fuzzy pieces that ends up in my eyes.. Help!!!!! Thx for all your Awesome videos. I'm in the process of making the long boot socks. Love them so far. Have a wonderful day!!😘
So I'm making this and used a slightly larger hook because I crochet tightly, and still had to do an extra round for the squares. I was worried that I'd run out of yarn so my squares were still smaller, like 15.5"... It was too short on my arms for how i like it, so now I'm adding rows all along the bottom edge till my yarn runs out. Improvise, improvise...
Are there other pictures of this piece online somewhere? I just want to see what everyone's poncho's look like for inspiration & alternate yarn ideas. I'm using Mandela yarn and a G 4.0mm hook and think I should have gone up a hook size
I'm using Mandela yarn as well and a 4.25 hook and my squares seem smaller than what they should be. ??? Not oversized at all. I'll like to know what the measurement across 1 square is to help with gauge.
beautiful poncho. A friend of mine also wants a poncho but it is a man. So I want to make the solid Grannys. I hope that will be as nice as yours. I do not know what else I should change so that it is more masculine :) ... Greetings from Germany
Hi Annoo, l just completed the boho poncho it is gorgeous, I would like to make a hood can you help me? I croched 20 rows with a F hook. Thank You Ms. J
Beautiful Pancho! I'm in the process of making something like it. I bought 1 thing of yarn which was 328 yds. I have one square done and am not sure I have enough yarn. Can you tell me how much it look to make it. Thank you.
I am using a crochet hook 2 sizes larger and a Light 3 weight yarn and I feel like it's coming out smaller than what yours is showing. What is the measurement across just 1 square? At 18 rows, I feel the need to add more just to get to the size your made. Thanks.
OMG! Annoo !! I luv luv luv Boho!! I'm going to find the yarn today, I'm starting this design today! Annoo you are my "muse" . By the way I luv luv luv my tshirt, thank you so so much. I was so excited to see the package. I wore it right away . Thanx with much 💓😃
I cant find your written pattern on the link provided, did I miss it? Plus how many balls of yarn did you use? Keep bringing these awesome boho styles. I am working on your 2016 Boho Granny Square Jacket atm....
I crocheted a tunic, with this kind of yarn. Soft and easy,to work with. Made another kind of poncho, with alpaca, very warm. This would be very beautiful to make. Thank you so much, for tutorial. I'll put it on my list. I follow along well. Not good with patterns.

Did you do the four squares like in the video if so how many rows did you do?
Jen Thomas Yes, I did the 4 squares 16 rounds, 59 double crochet per side.
Ok Great! Thanks for the reply.... it really helps.

Im on my second poncho. I added fringe and beads to the first one and get so many compliments. Thank you
Love the poncho, the yarn is so pretty. Looking at the poncho, it looked harder than the actual design you went over. I can't wait to make it.
I am working on my second granny square now...looking gorgeous! I did however order another two skeins of yarn because it's taking me 1 3/4 skeins per square. I am doing 18 rounds as well. My tension perhaps.

I made this beautiful poncho several years ago and it came out small . I couldn’t figure it out since I used the same yarn and hook you used . I had it tucked away and got it out . I’m wondering could I add sc around the edge to make it longer
I love your silliness! Thanks for some really great patterns!!!
I am almost finished with my poncho, it's turning out very nice. I have a question: by making the neckopening much more nerrow, should I continue making the neck edge wider ? In other words, should I make more of those finishing rows ?
Yes the more rows for the collar the narrower your neck line will be ;-)

Hi Annoo
I love your patterns! Thank you so much for sharing. You are very creative. I can't wait to make this poncho.
Will this work using a different yarn if the squares are still 17 inches? Hope to get an answer since this video is older. Love your designs!
How big does each square measure !!! Love it 😍
Thank you for your great work. I love your patterns and videos. Where can I find the written pattern for the Boho Poncho?
Love this!! Is there anyway we can add a hood to This? Thanks so much for all you do!!

No need to match with this ever changing color yarn!!! it makes the color match for you!!!! ;-)
I am using a crochet hook 2 sizes larger and a Light 3 weight yarn and I feel like it's coming out smaller than what yours is showing. What is the measurement across just 1 square? At 18 rows, I feel the need to add more just to get to the size your made. Thanks.

I cant find your written pattern on the link provided, did I miss it? Plus how many balls of yarn did you use? Keep bringing these awesome boho styles. I am working on your 2016 Boho Granny Square Jacket atm....
it takes me a few days to post written patterns after I post my videos...stay tuned it will come to my blog soon
Karin Schade in the video she mentions that she uses six skeins of the yarn.
Love this, must do it...much love from Spain
Could I connect the squares with a different stitch... by going through 4 loops instead of 2... 2 loops seem so delicate.
You can but keep in mind that you will then have a different look to your join than the one she shows.
So pretty!!! The pattern and the yarn
Excellent crochet i like it and well explained thanks dear
I crocheted a tunic, with this kind of yarn. Soft and easy,to work with. Made another kind of poncho, with alpaca, very warm. This would be very beautiful to make. Thank you so much, for tutorial. I'll put it on my list. I follow along well. Not good with patterns.
I love this!! I'm making it now. So excited to get it finished to wear. Thank you so much! :)
The crocheting is very loose. Can I just use a bigger hook and crochet tighter?
Beautiful, as are all your designs. Thank you!
Beautiful colors! You are so inspirational❤️❤️ Love all your crochet projects. As always you made this with love❤️❤️😘😘
Can I ask how tall you are? Trying to see if I need to make it bigger for my 5'8" daughter.
This is gorgeous. I will definately make this. Thank for sharing.💓
I love this but I ordered the exact yarn off the link and it looks nothing like what you are using. Not sure why
I like your patterns and you are so beautiful ♡
