Never had this problem. I did have the opposite happen alot. Alot of retail players crying over how 'bad' vanilla is and its community, but still they play classic...
Its funny though. The first days when I did dungeons I had some of the smoothest runs I've ever, ever experienced. Me and another mage would perfectly synced sheep different targets and stuff like that just blew my mind. Now when the good players are 60 and I'm just leveling still due to time constraint the quality of group members have dropped like crazy. Doing dungeons and contemplating suicide is synonymous at this point.
Honestly this explains a lot. I've been wondering why everyone has been bitching about mages. I suppose most of the good mages outlevled the average player.
Well i mean the community in classic has always been toxic, not a surprise there. I mean look at all the toxicity in this comment section. It's like a class room full of preschoolers.
LMAO the mage one has happened to me atleast twice when I was tanking and both wondered why they were taking so much aggro when they were using their aoe spells. Also I'm actually impressed whenever I meet a hunter that has good control of their pet. And the warrior dps/melee dps that don't understand the concept of mana and charges in when ranged/healers are oom
I do a ton of arcane explosion spam as a mage. I layer my coc/nova/coc combo to create space, mana shield/ward when needed. Amplify magic when mainly physical enemies, and utilize instant casts only so I can kite during GCD's. I've had a couple of tanks refer to me as the only mage tank on the server as I've gotten so effective with it. People try to copy good players rather than learn how to become good players.

Pretty sure that is just a loot competition thing. If you don't like it, then start your own. If you are too lazy, then deal with it. If you can't understand or deal with the fact that a warrior tank isn't going to want to bring a rogue/hunter to some dungeons when his main spec is DPS, then you are beyond help. Welcome to vanilla, where leather DPS gear is worn by 4 classes for optimal stats. Not to mention rings/trinkets being so few and shared.
That’s been my experience tanking so far. Some idiot mage or hunter will just run in there all Willy nilly and start pumping out dps, and then get upset and say I’m a bad tank cause they died. They don’t realize I can’t hold Aggro if I’m not the first person to grab it in the first place.
I mean... people need to learn warriors need a few seconds to gather all the enemies and generate threat. Way too many people are thinking this is wrath (or beyond) where tanks can generate AoE threat in seconds and never lose aggro. It just isn't possible in vanilla.
Understand bro, they are in the wrong. Classic dps #1 priority is threat management. If they die and or cause a wipe, you are not magically wrong somehow - I had to go through it too lots of retail dps players are adjusting still
DPS shouldn't even be thinking about DPS until the tank has touched all enemies at least one time. People are just extremely impatient now days for some reason. Bottom line is that warriors need enemies to attack him for more rage, and taking down a single elite FAST is better than slowly cleaving down 3-4 of them at the expense of the tank, healer and overall run's performance.
scarlet monistary is so toxic, it teaches people that you can just AOE grind dungeons just like retail when in reality you cant. especially 40+... people get into the mindset that you can just do it all the time and you just cant. ive met the most toxic players when getting into a group that decides to AOE "farm"

- Once the deads have walked their way back into the dj, ask how it feels for the druid in a hurry to have lost 10min of his precious time instead of 3secs
- Collect the Salt Chunks
Ah these videos are so cuuute
The damage meter fan almost made me pee my onesie.. Cause that is me 😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Do you know how one can tell if someone in their dungeon or raid group played in vanilla? Don’t worry they will tell you.
Don't forget if you underperform in any way, they'll immediately go "THIS [X] STARTED IN RETAIL" in the same way a person in a zombie movie exclaims someone got bitten.
SmileOmega1 I started 2 weeks ago with classic never played wow before yet nobody every had a problem with it.
BCNY welcome! 👊
@@bcny7073 #ever and as a veteran player ill say 100% it's true lol. Classic players are extreeeemely toxic.since they left the game has been sooo much more enjoyable. Cuz now when they try and go on about classic, they get a barrage of than go play it from every one in the group, before being kickd from the group and put on ignore.
Never had this problem. I did have the opposite happen alot. Alot of retail players crying over how 'bad' vanilla is and its community, but still they play classic...
Imagine never playing wow and seeing this
Great video. Thank you for making it! 😁
Omg...the pet maked me laugh so hard...epic work..keep em coming
Its funny though. The first days when I did dungeons I had some of the smoothest runs I've ever, ever experienced. Me and another mage would perfectly synced sheep different targets and stuff like that just blew my mind.
Now when the good players are 60 and I'm just leveling still due to time constraint the quality of group members have dropped like crazy. Doing dungeons and contemplating suicide is synonymous at this point.
Honestly this explains a lot. I've been wondering why everyone has been bitching about mages. I suppose most of the good mages outlevled the average player.
Nah it's alts. Loads of people want their alts to be a new class for them. Hence fucking it up.
I don’t understand, what is wrong with mages? XD
2 mages sheeping in low level dungeons. you 2 are not good players LOL.
Well i mean the community in classic has always been toxic, not a surprise there. I mean look at all the toxicity in this comment section. It's like a class room full of preschoolers.
When I'm realised that my character is hunt and hunts are the main heroes of this video 🥴
The real "special" heroes yeah
Well, them and rogues
This is so accurate, amazing job on the video
This made me 😃, thank you.
@@someguy1994 oh pleaase lol ur a fucking mage not a God, gtf over yourself lol.I hope I never end up in a group with you. The oooooh look at meee!! Type of player. Litterally no one cares, just do your dps.and stay behind the tank...ur damage meters are inaccurate and don't mean shit. Ur just a show off.
So true... mages don't seem to understand what aggro is...
So happy this guy is back.
The low IQ pet, happens everytime. Usually when it happens I pretend like everything is fine, when I know what's coming.
what about those who only want specific classes for tank/dps/healing roles. like "need mage dps" or "need ranged dps"
yeah how dare someone make their own group and decide who joins it based on a group comp they like. i am entitled to join your group.
@Shyvana_x3 then u are that person that fit my description :)
They don’t realize I can’t hold Aggro if I’m not the first person to grab it in the first place.
these vids are amazing
So incredibly accurate haha. Well done man
When I tank I feel so bad for the mages.. but yet I hate them so much.
I mean... people need to learn warriors need a few seconds to gather all the enemies and generate threat. Way too many people are thinking this is wrath (or beyond) where tanks can generate AoE threat in seconds and never lose aggro. It just isn't possible in vanilla.
I'm definitly the damage Meter Fan 😂
Your Videos are awesome :D
Held a solid poker face through that...
As a tank myself, I dislike aoe from the beginning of the pull... not easy to grab all aggro as warrior with no rage... 🤦🏻♂️
I am the mage)
you REALLY nailed the damage meter fan.
The cat noises from the hunters pet 😂😂
Where is the “Go guy”?
I reQuIRe aID
gogo tank
00:46 I didn't know Genji played WoW!
Fuck off
@@alguldandoce7982 Little Bitch, upset YOU always got bullied off Genji because YOU use a controller on pc. NOMEGALULOMEGALULB XD
The mage at the end fucking got me LMAO
Spot on this first one and the second part
scarlet monistary is so toxic, it teaches people that you can just AOE grind dungeons just like retail when in reality you cant. especially 40+... people get into the mindset that you can just do it all the time and you just cant. ive met the most toxic players when getting into a group that decides to AOE "farm"
Its a mage mindset tbh
Get a pally tank and you are good to go.
The hunter pulling cracked me up.
Hahahaha the slow poke caught me off guard
I've seen all of these 36 times over the past 15 years.
This was great
God. that fucking ledge in Wailing Caverns...i couldn't see it because i didn't think to raise my brightness. Kept falling down and circling back...
I like how cheap and relatable your content is!
Shit, I LOVE this series!!!
