The same can be said for vanilla. Leveling payment with gold, which the bots up's you. Endless farming of something for ahn'qiraj, naxxarmas. At the very beginning, people running around with sulfuras. Half mechanics of raid bosses, etc.

Really? I still use a trinket from a wotlk zone cuz it gives +140 mastery proc chance. No new trinket I got so far had better properties than that.
