Ibrahim is a truly genuine person, and the way he speaks on his podcast is exactly how he is in real life. From personal experience, I can attest that he doesn’t put on a persona or try to sound different for the audience-what you hear is his true self. His conversations, both on the podcast and in person, are always thoughtful and grounded, often reflecting his deep connection to Islamic principles.
Great first episode Masha'Allah! I'm excited for Wahi App and Project Ummah. Growing up with lack of positive representations of our culture and religion in the media instills a lack of confidence in our faith and culture. I definitely relate to looking up to successful westerners and unfortunately many ambitious young Muslims thinks they can't be Muslim and successful and pursue success while compromising Deen. Alhamdulillah the Muslim representation in the media is improving slightly, especially with social media platforms that give everyone the chance to put themselves out there and represent their culture and religion. I hope Project Ummah helps us take control of the narrative of Muslim representation and facilitate decolonization and connecting us to the Deen. May Allah put immense barakah in your efforts!
I love the autheticity brothers, It makes us feel like we're all a family and it is more fun to hear you talk about your experiences without any sugarcoating. May allah make this podcast a place where we can get closer to him and learn more about Islam 🤲
Allahummabarik brothers. Great work incorporating ahadeeth into the discussion so naturally. Set the bar high with the first podcast and looking forward to the App! Don't forget to say to each other the magic words "إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُعْلِمْهُ إِيَّاهُ" “When one of you loves his brother, let him know.” Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2392
May Allah Bless you and increase you in the dunya as well as in the hereafter, and may Allah bless you with hikma and 3lm (Wisdom & Knowledge) to share to us, as well as to increase your level in paradise! Barik allahu feekum , ya ukhwaan!!
Assalamu Aleykum wa rahmat Allah wa barakatuh, The Ummah wishes you two very much success, we are fully with you and can´t wait for this channel to grow and for you to release your app in shaa Allah. The work that you two are doing is a blessing for any human kind, stick with it and grow stronger with every single day in shaa Allah. Maybe in some time, when this channel has grown and you´ve got someone for it, you could add some more descriptions and transliterations to this video, especially when you mention a Vers or hadith. Barak Allahu feekum, See you in Jannah in shaa Allah, may Allah reward you and grant us all JAnnah tul firdaus.
Great friends and brothers..I really enjoyed it and Alhamdulilah I learnt one hadith🙂 Wahi app and Project Ummah wow. May Allah bless you guys Allahuma Barik. And oh next time let Zaid eat before you start😂.Allahuma Barik

My appeal to every Muslim, my brother or sister, the owner of the channel, I know that it is not my right to comment on your channel, but God is my witness that our circumstances are harsh and forced me to do this. Please forgive me. My brother, there is still a brotherhood of faith. I asked you for a bag of flour. My brother, we women cannot go out among men. There is still a woman with you. My brother, God has honored you. You are men. We are women. We cannot go out or work like you. My brother, where is the brotherhood of faith in your hearts? We are women. There is no brotherhood, no mercy, no compassion, no humanity. And give good tidings to the patient. It is the greatest hope while waiting for what we want. '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' How many times I called and talked and tried hard, but no one responded. Oh man, we are with you. My mother ordered us food from the restaurant. More and today. My mother left. Crying. She said, Why are you crying, my mother? She said, My daughter, I ask. God, that I may be honored by death. She said, Why, my mother. She cursed us. She said, "My daughter, today the restaurant owner insulted me. I said, 'Why?' I said, 'How can I be better than people?' I ask God, my daughter. May God gather me. With death alone, a gathering that is better than this humiliation and this humiliation. It is true. I am saying this. It diminishes my value and respect. But, man. I swear to God that I did not say this. I kiss your boots. I am so hungry that my conscience no longer allows me to let you go and ask us for food. I kiss your boots, man, and I ask you by God Almighty and in the Book of God, man, I kiss your boots, man. He has caused us harm, my brother, so that we can buy a kilo of flour and pay the rent. My brother, have mercy on us. He who is in the show will have mercy on you, He who is in the sky. My brother, this is my WhatsApp number: 00967717821239. Whoever can help us, message me on WhatsApp. We will send him the full name. He will transfer us as much as he can. May Allah reward you. Allah knows that my family and I, our house rent is 15 thousand Yemeni riyals per month, and now we owe 45 thousand for 3 months. The owner of the house is one of those people who do not have mercy. By Allah, my brother, he comes every day and humiliates us and talks about us and wants to throw us out of the house and into the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. We will have until the end of the week, and if we pay him, he will swear by Allah that he will throw us out into the street without mercy. See my situation for yourselves. I ask you by Allah, the Living, the Eternal, to help me. By Allah, the Almighty, even at night we cannot sleep from fear. We do not have mattresses or blankets to warm ourselves from the cold. Everything is flooded from the rain, and we have no one but Allah and then you. My brothers, I kiss your boots, don’t turn me away empty-handed. Help us with whatever you can. How on earth did you guys travel to school? Manchester seems so big and not as easily connected as London. Never been to Manchester so your modes of commuting seems interesting to me.
Lol Ibrahim, may Allah bless you and increase you آمين rather than praising you directly, I'm going to praise you to Allah and to increase you in the good that my eyes and ears witness. Thrill seeking is low-key destructive, I'd listen to your mum, she values your existence and wouldn't want to see a blessing of hers put his life in danger. Also all those who view you as a blessing wouldn't want harm being inflicted upon you, or you inflict harm upon yourself. 🙃
Do I get same reward of the hadith which you mentioned there that we have to look up to sky and make dua, but our home is apartment whenever I do dua automatically I raise my head to the roof, but I don't feel it like roof my imagination goes to galaxy
Interesting, the brother who attacked Zaid's character, I wonder if it was constructive criticism that zaid misinterpreted as an attack, and if the brother knew that he hurt his feelings. Context is important when it comes to criticism of someone's character and if the criticism was justified, I. E. Evidence provided showing bad character and why the criticism was necessary to be vocalised by the brother. Thought this was important to consider, Zaid probably faced a misunderstanding on his part, and the purpose behind raising the alarm. I'm curious, was there open and clear communication between the 2 parties?
From my own personal experience, constructive criticism through a screen can be easily misunderstood as an attack, due to lack of human expression and tone of voice. How someone reads a text may not be how the brother was intending for it to come across. Just some alternative ways of thinking about the situation.
Another way to think about this situation, it's easy to call constructive criticism an attack to run away from accountability and solving the problem directly, because the agent in question is convinced they have/ had good character and believed change was not necessary. May Allah increase us all in understanding and wisdom آمين. Also another way to look at constructive criticism, Allah from His infinite wisdom may have placed the brother in Zaid's life out of rahma to help him see the errors in his behaviour which is affecting his character negatively. The more you can separate your feelings the better, and also it's better to start viewing yourself as a work in progress, so it becomes easier to take on constructive criticism and actually improve and become better. I personally love hearing constructive criticism because I know and believe I am flawed or prone to making mistakes, but if I'm in a habitual cycle, of bad character I'd want someone to find the error and help me correct it or quite literally spell out the bad character to me. Like an infinite for-loop, I'd want to break out of this unproductive/ toxic cycle. When it's a habit you become unaware or blind that it is a problem. Like a software engineer, I'd want to debug the code, find the cause of the infinite for-loop, correct the mistake, so when I run the code again it actually works no more infinite for-loops.
Zaid may also not realise or be aware of the impact of his bad actions, on to others and more importantly himself. I'd view that brother as a massive blessing if he is making me see and realise the harm I am causing, regardless of how bitter the truth is and how much it hurts my ego. When you become arrogant, you're essentially deaf, dumb and blind. Someone that Allah has blessed with knowledge, wisdom and understanding will be able to spot it immediately, from as little as Zaid's utterance. In the way that Prophet ﷺ gave advice to the man to control his anger.
Zaid's 2 should be character and wisdom, not money. He'd benefit more in this dunya, himself, and the creations of Allah from having attained wisdom and understanding than having money, essentially he's chasing the dunya and not understanding it.
