Rules restaurant in Covent Garden. It’s the oldest restaurant in London and serves traditional high class British food. A lot of their food comes from their own country estate. It’s not cheap, but it is worth the money. Also the decor is beautiful. I bumped into Andrew Lloyd Webber the last time I was there. If you want to try traditional high class British cuisine this is the place to go.
Probably the only Americans I actually enjoyed watching! You guys showed a true love and respect for our British culture. Love it. Side note, its usually a pot of milk you get when you order tea or coffee, we don't really put cream in drinks over here.
@@kgames3563 Why are you Brits so harsh like forreal every video I've seen of Americans just not liking your food you guys get seriously butthurt and I haven't seen any video of this disrespect you say there is... also when brits don't like our food I never see us bashing you guys for it... y'all just love to hate on us plan and simple.
@@WickedJesss I've seen quite a few of people being disrespectful, u dont like our food? Im totally okay with that but if ur disrespectful about it thats on a whole other level
@@kgames3563 it's just food though lol why on earth would someone saying your food is bad be so offending? Disrespecting food is like saying my outfit is ugly... who cares as long as you like it.
Luis I think your right, if I travel to London one day I'm going to like it. You can't go wrong with the food, architecture, and the history of the city.
When I was growing up my parents would make it a lot on special occasions - this was the first time I had an authentic British Beef Wellington. We ended up taking most of it home and ate it over the next couple of days 🥩
I don’t know why this only just appeared in my recommended but wow. This felt so high quality, and it felt incredible seeing all the classics of my childhood held in such high regard. You guys are awesome!!
Those fish and chips look outstanding. Tourists beware - most pubs will serve fish and chips, some will be good some won't. But this one right here is more of an authentic fish and chip shop style, and looks well worth a visit.
🇬🇧 is just like every other country, some of our foods are just fuel, but some are amazing! Remember having portland whelks straight off the boat on Weymouth beach, they were to die for!!! 😘
Great work guys! I know the format of the channel has changed but please don't give up on exploring (and educating) us on places outside Chicago (this coming from someone who loooves the Chi). This video may not have ridden the algorithm wave, but just know the real ones appreciate you!
Great video. So often I watch people review English dishes with no knowledge of them. You both nailed it, great knowledge of the history of the dishes and from the foodie side you conveyed the taste really well. How about tasting jellied eels, cockles and mussels and parsley liquor next. All East end London classics.
Very good. Lots of history and variety in the dishes. Beef Wellington mmm. Steak n Kidney pudding is nice, Pie n Mash with Liquor would have been good too. Used to be lots in London, with Jellied Eels.
nice to see an american trying our stuff and actually earn the respect form me to call them american, most of the time there such snobs about everything i call you lot yanks instead, but you guys, you did things right

I was triggered by the vegan versions LOL but that was a great selection well done! Luis! You're accent isn't fully American right? Do I detect some West Indies?
Good knowledge of English food here. I think British food gets a bad reputation from Scotland and Wales, no offence. However you can't really go wrong with most English dishes. I think the best food in Europe is in England and I've been to France and Spain.

Fortnums. Best tea in London by far. Scotch Egg. Food Hall.
Adam Handling, The Frog. Amazing Michelin food

I’m so glad to see Americans enjoying our food for once
Just to let you know. The English breakfast is considered a treat for Brits. Normally consumed on a Saturday morning or Sunday morning.
I usually have 1 every 2nd Friday during our morning early shift break. Not usually up for too much work afterwards 😂
Impressed you did your research, especially with the bangers, glad you liked our food, definitely travel outside London next time you're in the UK 👌🏻
You guys are lovely 🥰 Proper foodies! Glad you enjoyed it - cucumber sarnies are amazing 😎🙌
If u want to eat like a true Englisman don't eat them separately pile the different flavours onto your fork 😅. I'm English trust me on that lol
Ah yes. Sticky toffee pudding with mushy peas. Unbeatable...

There's a lot to explore in London - over the next few years we'll be creating lots more content in London, thanks for watching bro!
Thank you for doing your research on each dish and correctly representing them. Very well made video. Cheers and respect from an Englishman.
That beef Wellington looked amazing, I’ve never tried one before. Congrats on reaching 30K!

Never had a bad fish and chips in Britain.
Great vid guys , appreciate the fact you show that not all English food is terrible as seems to be the stereotype !
I love English food. Cant do without my full English breakfast. Thank you for sharing!

It's absolutely disgusting.
Pot pies are as close as we get to meat pies....I don't get why meat pies haven't made it to America. Sooooo good

Eel. My nemesis.
Not stop binge watching your videos since my family and I are traveling to London in June. Yay !!!
I took my family last April we were a group of 10. Cant wait to go back and try all the places in this video!
The first pasty was invented in Plymouth Devon 236yrs before them lot made them so the best pasty is the true Plymouth pasty
I think you should start a 1 thru 10 rating system for all the foods you try. Would love to hear both of your ratings on the foods! 👍👍
Good food choices, well presented video. Cheers!
Excellent job keep up the good work 🎉🎉
Like your style and presentation 🎉🎉
Really great video! Very helpful for prepping for our upcoming trip to London!
Check out st. johns also if you want older British dishes such as bone marrow on toast.

Our hash browns are nothing like American hash browns . Yours are so much better .
Thanks so much for including veggie/vegan options! :)
you come to the uk, we feed you up good!
The Full Scottish also includes fried Clootie Dumpling (a precursor to Chrimbo Cake).
All this food looks SO good!
Nice video man hello from Croatia 🇭🇷🇭🇷🇭🇷
I hate to think what prices you are paying for that food, in rip off London
Perfect action on the wife's little finger while drinking her tea👍🏻
Man, I'd sure like to get back there, in 2013 I had a pasty and Irn-Bru up on the mezzanine behind you.
That's a HUGE breakfast
Great video, great choices but I would definitely recommend custard with sticky toffee pudding next time you get a chance to try it!
The National food of the uk is fish and chips, the National dish of England is chicken tikka masala
It’s still fish and chips because people are split over their favourite Indian meal.
@@personalcheeses8073 do you realise how a National dish works. It’s not based on the favourite dish
It was invented in Glasgow and is just as popular in Scotland if not more so.

You said tomatoe properly 😂
Great video mate
I love this video
Always put plenty of salt and vinegar on your chips, makes a massive difference to the taste.
Enjoy
how can you eat all of this in one day?
Tea for two
I appreciate you trying vegan foods on your food tours. Keep up the great work luis. By the way, it is TO-MAY-TO not TO-MAH-TO lol 😝👍
No doubt - gotta give the vegan options love too! When in England, it's 🍅
Its TUH-MARR-TOE. Some Britons may say TUH-MARR-TUH if they have a very thick local accent 🙂
No in the UK its TO MAH TOE
Personally I happy and a little surprised to hear an American pronouncing it the English way.
Cucumber sandwiches are great but pickled beetroot sandwiches are better
Wonderful.
English food is good right? Lots of great eateries in London... maybe not always the enthusiastic service you get in America though haha
Good British name
0:19 he said it the right way 😯 that deserves a subscribed lol.. jk I have subscribed though 🙂
Also pronounced the Thames correctly too 👍
Did anyone else think there was a cat in there room at 1:58

He is from Puerto Rico.
MAYFAIR THATS POSH..
Don't be puttin no baked beans or tomatoes on my plate, though. Everything else sounds yummy.

Scotland? What??????
Great work… but we do eat one each😂😂😂 do you not have baked beans? That surprised me it’s a staple in Britain! 👍🏻
cartmel sticky toffee pudding is amazing.
I want to try it.
New Yorker can’t even go to London without letting everyone know they’re from New York 😂
