Another Tornado Outbreak in the Making

All models point toward our Gulf coast states as ground zero for another severe weather event manifesting itself through the mid to latter parts of this week as we prepare to flip the calendar into December. A cut-off low and shortwave trough are moving into the west coast of the lower forty-eight. As they move across the Rockies and exit into the southern plains, a very aggressive low pressure feature is likely to form with similar dynamics in play as we realized not so long ago in a very familiar spot. Let's digest exactly what sort of severe parameters are ramping up and who could see the worst impacts.

Likely skewed by turbulent mixing and microscale changes in updraft wind flow. Typically STP takes into account overall shear/wind flow across the environment. Notice that there’s a fine line that kinda terminates where most of the showers/storms blossom
